I WANT A RED DOT, but don’t have a MOD slide … Easy Red dot instillation on this video! With this product, you don’t need to send your slide in and get it all cut up. The last thing I want to do, as an advent shooter, is to take apart my gun for weeks at a time and hope that the shop I sent it to, doesn’t mess up my slide and make it either off center, or drill in the wrong screws. With the DPP you don’t have to worry! Put it on, or take it back off for that basic look again whenever you want to. No worrying about your sliding coming back to you in worse shape than you sent it off.

    adding alot of weight to the slide without milling it to take some out… could reduce reliability, possibly.

    Save your pennies, buy a MOS slide or have it milled by your local gunsmith. DO NOT DO THIS BACKWOODS COUNTRY CRAP

    Okay, I will show my ignorance here. I have a Gen 2 Model 17. I am fascinated by "dot" sights and am considering installing them. I got a glimmer of the dot in the video. Now my question. Is the round going to go where the dot sets? What if the base you set the sight of is not centered for windage? How do you account for elevation?

    I have Glock 43x non mos with holoson 507k x-2 should come in mail this weekend using not dpp but I got dovedot adaptive plate with rear front sights included

    Worst way to mount a red dot. Try emergency one hand rack using this crap. Watch how quick it fails.

    Not to mention you cannot have a backup rear sight and it sits so high up and looks terrible.

    Yea it looks like an easy resolution, but if you drop the gun that red dot will zero out for sure
