As a civilian, rarely do you need to pass a “practical” or eval/qual to carry a firearm. You might need a class and watch a powerpoint, but not actually shoot. This is crazy, officers need to pass a qual before they carry out in public, so why shouldn’t you attempt one and see how you do?
