The AKS-74U bridges the tactical deployment gap between a submachine gun and an assault rifle. It was intended for use mainly with special forces, airborne infantry, rear-echelon support units, helicopter and armored vehicle crews. It is commonly used by law enforcement; for example, each urban police foot patrol is issued at least one.

Q: Is it ok to say that the letter "S" in AKS and AKMS only includes the AKs that have downward foldable butt stock? And if not then what does it stand for?

The rest either have a normal AK47/74 or are unarmed.
Kalashnikov Concern should develop a new small arm system of Ak-12 variant that can replace AKs-74U.
Modern warfare has created a new classification of Small arms with
(1) Assault rifles
(2) Carbines
(3) Micro Carbines.
AK-12 is an Assault Rifle
Ak-13k is a Carbine
AKs-74U is a Micro Carbine.
All of these are required by modern day forces.

Can you do a video about AKMSU (I think it’s named that)? Some said it’s Khyber Pass produced but others said that the captured guns are actually produced and probably entered service for a short period of time.
Conical flash hider, because somehow you’re going to hide the 5.45’s fireball erupting from the end of an 8 inch barrel.
In battlefield or medal of Honor series,i always prefer russian grade weapons because of unconditional habitual love towards them
I love the AK74 variant. I have the Vepr AK74 semi auto. Unfortunately here in the states the 5.45×39 isn’t as popular as the AK47 7.62×39. The ammo here is getting hard to come by. I can find them online but sadly it’s not being stock as fast as the AK47 rounds here.
