  1. build shoot repeat!! on October 27, 2021 at 5:24 pm

I think this thing would be awesome for a suppressed 300 blackout build!!

  2. Steven White on October 27, 2021 at 5:25 pm

An expensive way to get killed.
A better alternative is $20 paddlegrip and $35 fixed stock. Then just replace previously legal bullet button with standard mag release

  3. Pyrenees Farm on October 27, 2021 at 5:26 pm

The tool could be used by either hand, so a left hand and a right handed shooter could, in theory, use the same rifle. On the other hand, if you do range shooting at a private range, and nowhere else, you could store a fully functioning device there and keep it legal, even if they did a deep search of your vehicle or person. Admittedly, this is on one side or the other of paranoia, but, in a police state, paranoia about government action is a wise set of behaviors, IMHO. Having been a long haul driver for over 40 years, I have seen times when absolute caution in LEO interactions was definitely what kept me driving out of the weigh station.

  4. T CAPO on October 27, 2021 at 5:28 pm

Although the Kali Key falls within California laws as written, the product is not formally approved by the DOJ or any federal, state, county, city, or other law enforcement agency or regulatory authority. 💩💩💩💩 Good idea but you can still get busted with it.

  5. StL Pro2A on October 27, 2021 at 5:28 pm

Run an adjustable gas block….On/OFF only or mult-position……to shut gas system down for "bolt action". That probably would not be acceptable in Kommiefornia. Then, make a gas cylinder with a replaceable core for the gas block. Insert the "solid, no gas port" cylinder for bolt action. Insert the gas ported cylinder for semi-auto function. MUCH cheaper and better than thr KaliKey. No gas into the receiver to be vented near shooter face; no heat buildup; no debris into receiver, ya da, ya da, ya da. Use a side charging upper and BCG for maximum bolt action ease. For maximum shooting accuracy, remove gas tube completely. Or, use a barrel totally without the gas port and eliminate the whole gas block for true free float barrel accuracy.

  6. Bailey Mitchell on October 27, 2021 at 5:31 pm

Unless I made a hunting set up then i have no need or extreme range set up which also would be usefull

  7. Reno Simpson on October 27, 2021 at 5:31 pm

So what you are saying is I can have all the components installed that would make my AR a ‘select fire i.e automatic’ yet be compliant in CA. since its slingshot…

  8. Turf Surf on October 27, 2021 at 5:32 pm

I was gonna buy a Uintah bolt action upper, this thing saved me so much money!

  9. Slacking02 on October 27, 2021 at 5:32 pm

Could you remove the gas tube and buffer tube and cycle the AR using this?

  10. Indigo1138 on October 27, 2021 at 5:34 pm

No thanks on buying the $270 Kali-Key, when we can accomplish the exact same effect legally by taking out the BCG for free.

  11. Jayden Canfield on October 27, 2021 at 5:35 pm

I got a good reason for wanting this. I want to have a bolt action AR-15 in .300 Blackout and suppressor. With a bolt action AR, I can eliminate the sound made from the weapon cycling, making it a lot less louder.

  12. Robert Berghane on October 27, 2021 at 5:36 pm

Will it work in an AR pistol that doesnt have the buffer tube or recoil spring?

  13. Robert Berghane on October 27, 2021 at 5:37 pm

Will it work in an AR pistol that doesnt have the buffer tube or recoil spring?

  14. Davy Crosier on October 27, 2021 at 5:38 pm

Thanks for the review! I’m planning on getting one for a Can Cannon build

  15. Pyrock on October 27, 2021 at 5:38 pm

All of my AR’s are Ca compliant but I still travel to the range with uppers and lowers separated so technically, no compliance issues since I have no assembled AR’s😎

  16. Josh of All Trades on October 27, 2021 at 5:39 pm

    Who made the music??

  17. Psiqo on October 27, 2021 at 5:39 pm

Year later im just now seeing this video, thinking about picking it up because I think the concept of a bolt action ar is pretty interesting and the full bolt action uppers are either non existant or well over $1000 just for the upper

  18. Fargoth Zirak on October 27, 2021 at 5:41 pm

U know alot of people i havent heard them speaking about hinting as well turning ur ar15 into a bolt action for those areas that dont like them being used for it xould now be woth this product.

  19. TheXJthatCould on October 27, 2021 at 5:43 pm

I’m making a 450 bushmaster to hunt with in California and probably going to buy this

  20. Stephen Webb on October 27, 2021 at 5:45 pm

This product is perfect for those who want to use their AR for hunting just check with your game commission to see if it checks out. In Pennsylvania it’s perfectly legal do use your AR as long your AR is made to be a bolt action and you leave your sim-auto carrier is at home.

  21. DocB on October 27, 2021 at 5:46 pm

W a 5 round mag & Cali-key you can hunt deer w ar rifle in PA

  22. D S on October 27, 2021 at 5:47 pm

BUT the big question for me was: If I have the kalikey installed and the cops find my original parts in my car, is this illegal? I don’t know. Anybody?

  23. 10r80_Nick on October 27, 2021 at 5:47 pm

With that kalikey is it the same for ar pistol ?

  24. Mike Hammer on October 27, 2021 at 5:47 pm

People hate those Finns? What did they ever do to you? Next thing it will be the Norwegians or Swedes. When will this hate ever stop? (Never mind).

  25. Jerome Truitt on October 27, 2021 at 5:48 pm

great for states like PA where you want to hunt with AR platform but cant use semi auto

  26. Doc Root on October 27, 2021 at 5:52 pm

How do you feel would this effect the legal "status" of an AR Pistol configuration?

  27. Old Goat on October 27, 2021 at 5:54 pm

Lot of what we called "shithouse lawyers" in the military on this thread. All I can say is "You first". This came up on a lot of forums in PA where semi-auto for deer is illegal. Go ahead, try it out. It is like saying that if you take the magazine out of a bolt action, it becomes a single shot. I have killed a couple deer (In WV) with black guns. I don’t have the urge to "Make a statement" and end up in court in PA. A S/S, bolt , lever , or pump is good enough for me.

  28. Steven White on October 27, 2021 at 5:55 pm

This is expensive shit. If you want bolt action just buy one

  29. DJ TWELVE TWENTY on October 27, 2021 at 5:55 pm

Kali key work on saint victor 308?

  30. Gerald Holtzclaw on October 27, 2021 at 5:57 pm

Upon seeing this I,ll bet they are aleady making a law to ban it.

  31. Ol Dirty Buzta on October 27, 2021 at 5:58 pm

Juggernaut hellfighter tactical kit is the best way to go

  32. Marco Saldivar on October 27, 2021 at 5:59 pm

What about a uintah precision upper I love how it looks even though it’s bolt action.

  33. Chris Holman on October 27, 2021 at 5:59 pm

If it comes for the AR10 then maybe…

  34. gospyro on October 27, 2021 at 6:01 pm

Nope. IMO, the one of the worst solutions to our problem. Maybe… just maybe, it would be good as a training tool.

  35. Ambrose-adventure on October 27, 2021 at 6:06 pm

    Percission Rifle Shooting competitions.

  36. Hott Dogg on October 27, 2021 at 6:06 pm

What is the shortest barrel length u can use for a bolt action?? I want to use this kali key build an SBR style bolt action. 10 inch barrel sbr bolt action. So I can go across the state with my bold action kali key, swap to a normal bcg, and enjoy an sbr if I can do so legally

  37. Back Woodsman on October 27, 2021 at 6:07 pm

    Works good for young shooters.

  38. Mike Gillaspy on October 27, 2021 at 6:08 pm

So i been asking with no reply but why cant you plug off gas and just use the charging handle you already have

  39. Adrian Sanchez on October 27, 2021 at 6:09 pm

As of 2020, is this still acceptable? I would like an ar but with all the "features". Making it a bolt action is fine with me

  40. joesashiify on October 27, 2021 at 6:14 pm

Lol!, thought you said Fartin’ Arms.

  41. Just Plinkin’ on October 27, 2021 at 6:14 pm

In Commiefornia they’ll just call that a new style rocket launcher and be added to the list of No No’s since it isn’t a PERMANENT change. Unless you leave your REAL BCG at home the cops will find it during a search. I understand the idea and the purpose, I’m just waiting to hear someone’s actual experience explaining it to the cops. That $200 will almost buy me a whole new rifle so No thanks.

  42. Nick Macleod on October 27, 2021 at 6:17 pm

couldnt you get the same legal effect by removing your gas tube?

  43. T CAPO on October 27, 2021 at 6:17 pm

    recall Gavin Newsom

  44. Matt Larsen on October 27, 2021 at 6:18 pm

Thanks for the videos, love your enthusiasm in protecting our 2A

  45. Vanguard on October 27, 2021 at 6:21 pm

He must have been committing a crime if the cops had reason to search his car. If not, any noob attorney can suppress that evidence and have the case dismissed for unlawful search.

  46. yahboi_geo on October 27, 2021 at 6:22 pm

    oh hell nah

  47. csenior10 on October 27, 2021 at 6:22 pm

It’s gotta suck living in That shit state

  48. Miguel G on October 27, 2021 at 6:22 pm

Is it true that if you store the AR15, with the lower removed it is not considered a functional AR 15, thus no crime. Of course, I live in Commifornia.

  49. Ocho74 on October 27, 2021 at 6:22 pm

I like the idea of having this in my AR, I hate that I have to do something like this in California. I like bolt action rifles as well as semi automatics, but since I live in Gaylifornia I’m gonna have to do this to my Saint.

  50. Femme en Rouge on October 27, 2021 at 6:23 pm

Will this work on a Sig Sauer mcx virtus pistol?
