Kimber K6s When Power & Beauty Meet – First Mag Review

Kimber K6s review
https://bit.ly/2CHLudt

I don’t shoot revolvers often but I was really looking forward to shooting this Kimber K6s because of how beautiful it is being chambered in 357 magnum.

This is my first time shooting the Kimber k6s, and man this thing is a beautiful powerhouse.

Shooting the Kimber K6s you’ll realize, this thing is a beautiful powerhouse.

I carry this every day. Excellent gun. The revolver is more primitive, but the reliability is unquestionable. No jams, always fires. 🤙🏻 Keep your powder dry gents.

I believe but may be mistaken that the Kimber k6s uses a firing system similar to S&W’s hammer block instead of a transfer bar. Really gives it a pleasant double action which is kind of the high light if this gun with revolver fanatic’s. Theoretically this gun shouldn’t require as frequent of servicing as a gun that uses a transfer bar and should last an extremely long time even if frequently fired in single action for thousands of rounds. Even though I’m a fan of 357 Magnum if the gun is too be used for defensive purposes I tend to lean toward some of the lighter recoiling magnums like Remington’s 125gr semi jacketed hollow point. Really powerful but easier to handle shooting fast in double action.

Revolvers for power and accuracy. Turn the muzzle flip and low capacity into a strength. Train on SA for top notch accuracy and zero faster over time, then translate to any handgun. The concept is you get better when you make training harder.

Just picked one up. What’s your opinion on dry firing without snap caps? Is it back for the firearm?

  7. Landon LeFevre on March 3, 2023 at 2:32 am

  14. Jessy Favor on March 3, 2023 at 2:41 am

  15. Justin Thomas on March 3, 2023 at 2:42 am

Just like you said.. gorgeous. Everything’s about the piece is beautiful. I need one!

  16. James Kennedy on March 3, 2023 at 2:43 am

Hey Colion, instead of using your grip hand thumb to cock, adjust your grip and use the off hand thumb, then you don’t lessen your strong hand grip.(25 year FBI firearms instructor…before the fbi became a radical arm of the demorat party)!

  17. Rehoboth Farm on March 3, 2023 at 2:46 am

I used to be able to ding a 4×6 plate about 4 out of 6 at 100 yards with my old 686. A good revolver is hard to beat.

  18. James Webb on March 3, 2023 at 2:46 am

Not as clumsy or random as a semi-automatic, but an elegant weapon for a
    more civilized age…

  19. King Elvis on March 3, 2023 at 2:47 am

Just handled at store…holy shit. This gun is worth the 1000.

Colion noir thank you very much for your hard work for the second amendment. But I have a question, can we really trust the human species to carry firearms all the time? I mean even law abiding citizens are still human, and human can make mistakes and using the firearms for instance when getting enraged, even low-biting citizens can be caught up in a road rage where you might end up using the firearm when not supposed to, therefore maybe it is better to keep the firearms at home?. Or maybe it is better to carry, this way the general population are always protecting themselves?.

  21. RPRzen on March 3, 2023 at 2:50 am

A great video as always. I can tell that the grip needs to be upgraded for sure. Watching you fire the Kimber K6s I can see you having to readjust your grip after practically every shot. No fault of the shooter. It is the grip ergonomics that needs improvement.

  22. R-DUBS on March 3, 2023 at 2:50 am

Beautiful revolver. Cream of the crop

  30. Rambette on March 3, 2023 at 2:58 am

Hey, Colion! You’re right, it is a beautiful gun!
I was surprised with the way you reloaded. I know you’re a semi-auto man, but there is a much better/faster way to get a revolver reloaded than what you’re doing in this vid. Support in left hand, eject with left thumb, reload with right hand, close cylinder and….bam, back in position.
Also, every time you pull back the hammer with your shooting hand, you lose your position/grip. Try pulling the hammer back with your left thumb.

  32. Christopher Hayes on March 3, 2023 at 3:02 am

    Awesome video

  33. Dave Johnson on March 3, 2023 at 3:03 am

Great, well produced video (I watch a lot). You are able to count to "six" so I don’t have to watch the 7th round "click" in so many vids. Thank you.

  34. EcchiSpud on March 3, 2023 at 3:03 am

Makes me wonder what Colion would think about the Chiappa Rhino . . .

  35. Love 2 Chiefs on March 3, 2023 at 3:07 am

Ive heard great things about the k6. But maan thats one ugly wheel gun. Although I do admire it as it looks more "modern" and different than a stereotypical smith/colt

  36. Eddie Byrns on March 3, 2023 at 3:07 am

If you planned on carrying a K6S DASA what inch barrel would you choose?

  39. Three Days Later on March 3, 2023 at 3:11 am

What is the recommended ammunition for this gun?

  40. Jes Moreland on March 3, 2023 at 3:12 am

My stepdad drove a prison bus and carried a huge 357 revolver because he said that if he was attacked he knew that one shot would go through several people and since being in a bus he was basically in a tunnel with all potential attackers being stacked in one direction.

  41. samuel liendo on March 3, 2023 at 3:13 am

The Mateba Única 6 have a semi auto trigger sistem , makes more easy pull the trigger after the first shoot

That trigger pull gets even smoother with use and cleaning. I’ve owned this gun for a while now and I absolutely love it. Carry it every day and always a crowd pleaser at the range.
