Excellent Análisis & Concepts!!! Thanks for this video!!!!

  2. Jeremiah R Gray on August 7, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Looks like a terrible, un sexy version of a Ruger 10-22….

  3. Rockwood Joe on August 7, 2022 at 8:02 pm

Are these rifles basically just a 795 with a screw on barrel? Are the insides (trigger, receiver, bolt, etc.) better, worse or same?

  4. Anthony Ponto on August 7, 2022 at 8:03 pm

My dads got rhis rifle. His is an early 80s model i believe. Love that gun super fun and accurate

  5. Chucky Harsson on August 7, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Ill stick with my marlin model 60

  6. Davey Crockett on August 7, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Had 2 of these, and 2 AR 7s.. Now own 7 Ruger 10-22s..there is No comparison!.. Period!..

  7. Chucky Harsson on August 7, 2022 at 8:08 pm

The gun looks stupid with no forend

  8. cuda40 * on August 7, 2022 at 8:08 pm

The model 60 should be built the same way. It would dominate the Ruger.

  9. Daniel Hernandez Jr on August 7, 2022 at 8:08 pm

    Why Not a 22mag ?

  10. ElijahJohn888 on August 7, 2022 at 8:09 pm

If & when we bind/bow our self to keep/abide by UN Godly/UN Just/Un CONTITUTIONAL laws should we then call our self’s Patriots or cowards who used the cover of Patrioism to hide selfishness/fear ? Those who bind/commit them self’s to the keeping of such laws are part of the problem NOT the solution. So please if the above shoe fits don’t call your self’s Patriots [ thereby giving Patriotism a bad name ] but call your self’s keepers/facilitators of the evil laws of evil rulers.
So many of u break the Laws of God before u even have your first cup of morning coffee yet U pride/boast your self’s as being " LAW ABIDING/BOUND CITIZENS " but not the Laws of of God but men/flesh/satan. ~Maranatha~

  11. Mark on August 7, 2022 at 8:12 pm

Will it fire without the barrel installed?

  12. Martin marty on August 7, 2022 at 8:12 pm

    🧐👍

  13. SnJnPreps on August 7, 2022 at 8:14 pm

Still got my Marlin model 88 breakdown lever action. Love it

  14. PoncianaPat1970 on August 7, 2022 at 8:14 pm

Great video Don! Do I see a Ruger Takedown vs Marlin Papoose video on the horizon? Did you get a new truck?

  15. Don Abele on August 7, 2022 at 8:15 pm

For $60 more, why not go with the 10/22 takedown?

  16. Wireline .Cables on August 7, 2022 at 8:15 pm

This guy appears to be mostly vendor compensated YouTube reviewer, and most of his videos are nothing more than a product placement ad for item being reviewed

  17. RAM's REPUBLIC on August 7, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I think I would go with the Ruger takedown due to having a Ruger warranty. I like this rifle though but with all the moving parts I need a warranty.

  18. ???????? on August 7, 2022 at 8:17 pm

    First gun I can remembershooting.

  19. mineragua on August 7, 2022 at 8:18 pm

i like the bag more than the rifle, which looks weird. like i asked my dad for a rifle and he made one out of spare parts.

  20. chlebowg on August 7, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Nice review.  I had a Charter Arms AR-7, Ruger 10/22 and Marlin 60 back in the mid 80s.  All good rifles with the AR-7 being ammo finicky however.  Don’t think Savage ever made a take down .22LR rifle.  All three of mine did take down small game if I did my job

  21. Tyler Gamel on August 7, 2022 at 8:21 pm

    Get a 1022 take down

  22. H.E. Miller on August 7, 2022 at 8:21 pm

How about a comparison review Papoose vs Savage 64 take down? Thanks

  23. Tula1940 LB on August 7, 2022 at 8:23 pm

I think the 10/22 takedown is better however this is lighter.

  24. JaredNoska on August 7, 2022 at 8:23 pm

    Anyone else have headspacing issues?

  25. Big Red on August 7, 2022 at 8:25 pm

By the way…Huge thumbs up. All you have to do is shoot it once, and then the cool and wow factor. Thanks…..

  26. jerry dickerson on August 7, 2022 at 8:26 pm

I know that the stainless is good because it is rust resistant however in a survival situation when you might need to be incognito that finish might give your position away

  27. Jack Dundon on August 7, 2022 at 8:27 pm

How the kid rounders and how the 25 round Pro Max workout

  28. el tenda's channel on August 7, 2022 at 8:27 pm

    Pretty neat!

  29. George Myers on August 7, 2022 at 8:29 pm

I can’t wait to see what you do with it.

  30. DKNG on August 7, 2022 at 8:30 pm

Will that magazine fit a 795? I was thinking of buying a blued 7rd magazine. Thx👍

  31. Cluelessbeekeeping on August 7, 2022 at 8:31 pm

0:52, I don’t supposed you know what plant you were kneeling in? You might want to look it up. Either way, you’ll figure it out.

  32. Big Red on August 7, 2022 at 8:32 pm

Great rifle, I love mine….Benefits over the 10/22 as well….

  33. Salty Steel on August 7, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Eh, I prefer my Ruger 10/22 Take Down heavy barrel with the Magpul Back Packer stock and optics mount. Best survival gun ever made!

  34. Charles Brown on August 7, 2022 at 8:35 pm

You stated you’d be doing some follow up on this rifle. If you’ve done anything with it please let us know.

  35. brandon chase on August 7, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Always wanted one of these but the last two Marlins I bought were absolute crap….and Marlin couldn’t have cared less when I called them. That being the case, I doubt I’d roll the dice on another.

  36. Ray Hamilton on August 7, 2022 at 8:42 pm

It’s now on this Buzzards Wish list!! 🙂

  37. K S on August 7, 2022 at 8:42 pm

I bought my Marlin mod 70 when i was a kid for $20 from a guy who worked for my dad. I could shoot anything at 350 yards with iron sights. I fired at least 20,000 rounds out of it. I just bought a new Simmons 22 magnum scope to replace my damaged scope.. $50 for a great little scope with rings! I

  38. Devon Boyd on August 7, 2022 at 8:45 pm

You should do a cz 50 and 52 review

  39. NoTimeForThatNow on August 7, 2022 at 8:47 pm

“Honey, have you seen the paint spray cans I was using?”
“Your buddy Sootch came over, said he was going to use them in a video or something…”
    “Dammit, Sootch!”

  40. 박윤기 on August 7, 2022 at 8:48 pm

I can’t wait to see the fully kitted rifle with accessories for survival. Which one do you think is better for survival between Marlin Papoose and Ruger 10/22 takedown? I would like to know your opinion. Thanks Sootch00 for making this video.

  41. Hector Rodriguez on August 7, 2022 at 8:48 pm

    Review the APX CENTURION

  42. Cheesydonut89 on August 7, 2022 at 8:49 pm

I’ve had one for years. Didn’t know marlin still made it.

  43. Lone Wanderer on August 7, 2022 at 8:49 pm

Id put a scope on it…

  44. mr bad example on August 7, 2022 at 8:50 pm

i bought one of those years ago, left it in it’s case, in my bedroom, after a few years it was badly corroded, it’s weird, aluminum and stainless, never saw that before, i have guns 3 times older that are rust free.

  45. Aaron Wilcox on August 7, 2022 at 8:50 pm

These are good little rifles. Had one of these back when they were wood stocked and blued. In the early 2000’s I picked up the stainless one and a 795, both great rifles.

Instead of just add a bunch of "stuff" to this rimfire I wish your videos had deeper content to them. In other words take this thing out and make a series and long term report with it. Take it into the bush and use it instead of just "let’s check it out".

Just an nice long term series of vids would be good to see instead of picking up one product after another. Beside one can only do so many videos about tricked out glocks, AR’s, it the latest hottest item for EDC or some conceal carry item before it gets old news and boring. Like the glocks with gold anodized components.

  46. David Bennett on August 7, 2022 at 8:51 pm

great rifle. I have had mine for a long time. I have 5 10 round mags. It has never failed me. I always carry it in my truck with a bucket of hollow points.

  47. 박윤기 on August 7, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Is this the same product that nutnfancy loves? You did a great review on it!

  48. Created Eccentricities on August 7, 2022 at 8:53 pm

There isn’t much to hold onto in front of the magazine. Has anyone thought of adding an AR-type handle in front of it?

  49. Tula1940 LB on August 7, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Do a 10/22 takedown or Magpul X22 Backpacker stock review!!!

  50. Nonja Ninja on August 7, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Wish they made an all black version. I have this thing where I can’t stand chrome on a gun.
