Mexico Sues US Firearm Manufacturers

Mexico Sues US Firearm Manufacturers

Just a way around the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act protecting manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits, Mexico thinks this does not apply to them.

Can the American people sue Mexico for all their illegals who are here?

  2. JD DMAX on October 29, 2021 at 3:10 pm

Im sure the Gun manufactures have deeper pockets and better lawyers than Mexico can provide. We will see who is paying who in the end.

The Mexicans are doing an opportunistic thing here. They are striking while the iron is hot. They know that the climate for this kind of bullshit is favorable at the time. This development is merely one turd in a sea of shit.

  10. Pat Regan on October 29, 2021 at 3:21 pm

So let me get this straight: Mexico wants to sue US gun manufacturers in US federal court but at the same time want US law to not apply to them, WTF are they talking about? Do they realize the irony of an irreparably currupt government who not only resides in the pockets of, but sometimes they themselves are, organized crime leaders who smuggle vast amounts of drugs and sex slaves into America on a daily basis, suing the US over our relatively more lenient gun laws? Even if the US was responsible for most of the illegal guns in Mexico, which we’re not, that’s a Mexican law enforcement problem just like our LEOs have to deal with all the crap that comes across the southern border both human and otherwise. They’re barking up the wrong tree and just begging for the full force of the US to come down on their incompetent, curropt asses. Love the Mexican people and Mexico but that government is a joke!!!

  11. Boogerdog on October 29, 2021 at 3:23 pm

The firearm manufacturers being sued, should form a trade association, who will then hire consultants….BLACKWATER…THE PROBLEM SOLVERS…

  12. Ivan Snyder on October 29, 2021 at 3:25 pm

Suing gun manufacturers for gun-related homicides is akin to suing General Motors for some idiot running over protestors. Blame the perpetrators, not the fucking tools.

  13. Robert Seitler on October 29, 2021 at 3:26 pm

Arrest the whole fast and furious crowd

  14. Abhi 739 on October 29, 2021 at 3:28 pm

American gun makers illegally selling to drug cartels, american citizens demand for cocaine fuelling drug trade, Pls look within, the problem is never ending

  15. Uriel De La Cruz on October 29, 2021 at 3:30 pm

Sorry to say, comments below say sue Mexico for the drugs, but if USA was not so hungry for drugs than cartel will go somewhere else Simple. I believe in bare arms, don’t be babies 👶 and get your feeling hurt 😢 lol

  16. Todd Jackson on October 29, 2021 at 3:30 pm

Firearm manufacturers. There place in our economy has come and gone. Just as Ronald Regan broke the Soviets and thus eliminated the arms race, so can we eliminate the eternal threat of gun violence. It is time that we the American people end the reign of manufacturing guns. If not for the US, there would be no mass production of firearm’s. Imagine a life with no fear of gun violence. Destroy firearm manufactures through our legal system. It can be done.

  17. Steve on October 29, 2021 at 3:31 pm

So can we sue over drugs

  18. Michael Hughes on October 29, 2021 at 3:31 pm

Barrett needs to turn around and have a lawsuit brought against the Mexican government for all the illegal drugs that cross the border and have put this country in a drug crisis for the past 40 years.
The 50bmg I seen in all the reports was military version weapons and ammo not civilian grade anyway, so looks like the drug cartels are buying them from foreign countries.

  19. Mal Lopez on October 29, 2021 at 3:32 pm

Guns in mexico aren’t as common as in the usa. I believe the case is good for Mexico

  20. Edfrom TheNet on October 29, 2021 at 3:34 pm

Maybe you don’t know but in Mexico, there are museums of guns that were retrieved from drug lords and there is a lot of personalized colt 1911 with gold engravings. Also, drug cartels don’t use ak anymore, and fast furious is already something from the past. The reality is that drug cartels use m4, ar15, 50 cal rifles, berettas, shit they even have tanks and submarines. The reality is that US is their number one client when it comes to drugs and they give them arms to make sure the business is up and runing. Even the cartels say it, Americans care so much about the drug business they will give the weapons for free.

  21. Xavier Martinez on October 29, 2021 at 3:36 pm

Buying guns in Mexico is basically prohibited. 70% of all guns come through the u.s border every year. Gun manufactures then also sell their guns to the Mexican government, profiting off both sides of the war. Not to mention Mexicans don’t consume drugs like Americans do, where do you guys think the demand comes from? This is not a baseless claim by the Mexican government, and if taken to a legitimate court, I wouldn’t be surprised if they won.

  22. Brazen Bull on October 29, 2021 at 3:39 pm

    What a brilliant plot.

Mexican govt officials get their 2%, cartel gets its 98%, then they go gun shopping..

  23. Tony Alexander on October 29, 2021 at 3:40 pm

    Fudd’s buy doggie treats…

  24. Kyle on October 29, 2021 at 3:42 pm

Screw Mexico. Maybe if they controlled their border and stopped Obama from shipping in so many guns they wouldent have this problem. Their president is probably a cartel leader anyway

  25. Paco Morales on October 29, 2021 at 3:42 pm

2:15 The Mexican government was planning this for 2 years at least… I am quoting Donald Trump “Because our leaders are stupid, our politicians are stupid, and the Mexican government is much smarter, much sharper, much more cunning,”

  26. Filomena Gonzales on October 29, 2021 at 3:43 pm

U.S. arms and ammo manufacturers should simply stop selling their products to Mexico, *altogether.* Maybe _that_ will shut the _pendejos liberales_ up.

  27. Marine Shtf on October 29, 2021 at 3:44 pm

That’s funny as hell. How about the US sues Mexico for illegal drugs, all the illegals coming in , gang members and so on??

  28. John Hoffman on October 29, 2021 at 3:45 pm

You can’t just sue the gun company all because one of there guns killed your friend and was used by a criminal if every gun manufacturer is shot down criminals will start illegally making them and civilians will start Illegally buying them

  29. Gabriel Garcia on October 29, 2021 at 3:45 pm

This is bull shit this guy dont know what the hell is going on visit mexico them say something

  30. N G on October 29, 2021 at 3:46 pm

They should build a wall to keep the guns out of Mexico.

  32. TheSBleeder on October 29, 2021 at 3:48 pm

On behalf of the United States, we’re willing to settle this suit for 30 pesos.

  33. khalil1204 on October 29, 2021 at 3:49 pm

it was accepted today so you were the ones who belived law doesnt apply to them

  34. S Burnett on October 29, 2021 at 3:50 pm

We all better pray this doesn’t get any traction. The unintended consequences could destroy our Country if somehow manufacturers begin to be held liable for inanimate objects.
If gun makers become liable, next auto makers, alcohol, etc…….this could destroy industry in our country……essentially bankrupt our country, destroy jobs, destroy economy……..
    I smell RATS.

  41. Motown M on October 29, 2021 at 4:01 pm

    Sacrio

  42. Geo Gmz on October 29, 2021 at 4:02 pm

I mean the lawsuit is not against the US they’re suing a private sector.. Sadly we can’t sue Cartels.. But If a lady can win a lawsuit against McDonalds for not labeling their coffee cups as containing "hot beverage" I won’t be surprise if they get this one.

  43. José Luis Nieto Enríquez on October 29, 2021 at 4:03 pm

The bright side of this lawsuit is that it will bring back the talk about guns in the US, and that might help reduce shootings in the US, and prevent people from buying so many guns. Now Biden can say it wasn’t he, it was Mexico. So yeah, liberals will come and take away your guns, good luck with that! And take a look, gun owners are giving away all the evidence for the lawsuit, and it’s all clearly a national security issue for the USA also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zczmz4850wM

  44. Delfino Rangel on October 29, 2021 at 4:04 pm

Well you guys know, that the US always conspiracy and intervenes in other countries, so is time to pay back something?

  45. Billy Rice on October 29, 2021 at 4:06 pm

Lmao what are they gonna do make them pay it 🤣🤣

  46. PARIAH THE BONELESS on October 29, 2021 at 4:07 pm

  47. Nova Scotia Guy on October 29, 2021 at 4:08 pm

biden. this is biden. if he can ban imports and destroy domestic production there are no guns at all for the commoners.

  48. Jeff Tindell on October 29, 2021 at 4:08 pm

If this is how the world works, we should sue Amsterdam for inspiring us to legalize Marijuana, sue japan for introducing sushi and all the people that get food poisoning from it, sue russia for my grandpas medical bills because of his ptsd from the cold war era, etc….. I agree, a crock of Sh#t if i ever heard it.

  49. Zenon Ayala on October 29, 2021 at 4:09 pm

This is priceless. as a Latin person and an life long American some moron south of the border didn’t think this out, and i hope they never do. I am looking forward to the court case and the outcome.

  50. Jonathan Wick on October 29, 2021 at 4:09 pm

Great idea! We should sue the Mexican government for their failure to secure their border allowing the cartels to traffic tons of illegal narcotics and people into the U.S. annually. Since the American taxpayer is forced to pay for the Mexican government’s negligence, they should be held liable. I think $100 trillion dollars in damages should cover it.
