  2. Jon Guerra on April 26, 2023 at 3:46 am

wouldnt this be great for hikers? compact and light weight enough to carry thru hills, but if you loaded it with slugs you could defend yourself from even the biggest grizzly?

  3. Jesus ChrisT on April 26, 2023 at 3:48 am

This would be a good somewhat medium to have in a get home bag if you couldnt cart a rifle or full size shotgun with you or if you wanted something with some capability/utility in a small package. I could definately see this being useful for a sinple camping trip in bear country, you may have a handgun on you but this would be a good option too with 00 buck and slugs etc.

How heavy would you guys say it is for carrying/lugging around though? Ive never held one. I could actually see this making more sense in something like even a .410, you can still get plenty lethality with some .410 slugs and 00/000/0000 buck and have a lighter package and lighter weight ammunition.

This paired with a decent handgun would be a really good combo, especially in a close quarters type deal where you need to get through or get out of a building and want to have that maneuverability.

You can buy lasers from Amazon for dirt cheap. I have 2 lasers on all of my guns now and red / green dots on 75% of them. …. The shock wave is a camping / hiking / truck gun. If you need to start adding braces and make it longer, just buy a longer gun to start with.

  5. Data Is Amazing on April 26, 2023 at 3:49 am

Can’t you get more shot spread with a different shot load?

  6. James Galbraith on April 26, 2023 at 3:50 am

Hickok45 didn’t have no problems when he was shooting his Mossberg Shockwave just my opinion

  7. S.R.Bontrager on April 26, 2023 at 3:52 am

I have the Remington autoloader version(V3 Tac 13) Those were hard to get when Remington was still making them. Now if you want one, you need to do some major damage to your billfold on Gunbroker.

  8. Jimmy Roy on April 26, 2023 at 3:52 am

Why don’t you guys put more stuff in your pockets ?
Love all my Mossberg’s even my shockwave 🙏🔫🇺🇸

  9. Guy Smith on April 26, 2023 at 3:54 am

"I don’t even know what we’d call what we did today" Tactical Kabuki?

  10. Charles Salmond on April 26, 2023 at 3:55 am

Put a brace on it. It changes the whole ballgame.

  11. Dr.SmackYourMouthOff on April 26, 2023 at 3:55 am

This gun will do my enemies dirty

  12. Stoney A.K.A. James on April 26, 2023 at 3:57 am

4 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe (heated and reshaped) mounted on a pack frame makes a good scabbard, that is where my Remington V3 Tac 13 lives and is perfect for "critters"!

  13. William Neal on April 26, 2023 at 3:57 am

I can tell by the sound of its mechanisms you’ve not fired it much at all. I’ve had my Shockwave for almost 2 years now, and just going back to look at all my ammo orders, I’ve put over 1100 shells through it, mainly #4. 00 and slugs, and from the hip I can put a slug through the center of the target at 17yrds easily and every time, at a brisk rate of fire and with a nice nice group Consistently. But, it came with practice, and to me it was a lot like a Wrist Rocket, you have to shoot it a bunch to acquire an eye for it, but once you master the weapon it is awesome, oh, and you can wear it on your hip like a pistol. I’d buy another one if ever I needed to, not a second thought. It’s a great snake gun too (we have copperheads, rattlers and cotton-mouths here, and this shotgun is real handy in a jon-boat). Oh, and did I mention it’s a hell of a lot of fun just shooting Quail shot through it at cans?

  14. B. Jennings on April 26, 2023 at 3:57 am

These really shine in a defense situation when adding a laser sight.

  15. Ron Banks on April 26, 2023 at 3:58 am

I have a green laser on mine, works great with 00 or a slug

  16. leomtk on April 26, 2023 at 3:58 am

I think it would be an awesome range toy. 😁

  17. rfross on April 26, 2023 at 4:01 am

Use mine as a slugger for grizzly country camping. Smashing through brush i feel safer with it in hand

  18. Guillermo Maguire on April 26, 2023 at 4:01 am

Put a tactical brace on it, run minishells with the Opsol mini clip, and you have a whole different set up. Aguila, Federal and Challenger buckshot are pretty similar and effective. Federal slug is impressive. We at Opsol also run 20g research minis out of 20g shockwave….still plenty of power, but less weight is noticeable…and nice.

  19. Paul Schwartz on April 26, 2023 at 4:04 am

Yeah, I totally dated myself with the encyclopedia comment…

  20. Vulpes Inculta on April 26, 2023 at 4:04 am

Seems to fit the moniker of "coach gun." Like how the phrase, "riding shotgun" used to mean _actually carrying a shotgun_ in the vehicle. That’s the "riding shotgun" shotgun.

  21. STEVE P on April 26, 2023 at 4:04 am

I saw one for $599.99. That’s a lot. I still want one though.

  22. Mike Adams on April 26, 2023 at 4:04 am

Drop the pistol grip and put a collapsible stock on it so you can bring to shoulder to aim . Prob make it a sbr thi

  23. Phillip Fitzwater on April 26, 2023 at 4:07 am

I don’t find much use for the shockwave. But these guys are entertaining! Very good review. Thank you.

  24. Claíomh Solais on April 26, 2023 at 4:07 am

This’ll take my road rage to a whole new level

  25. DWS1435 on April 26, 2023 at 4:08 am

Bump in the night, tight quarters, get the crimson trace saddle laser attached to it so you know where the sot will go.

  26. John Smith on April 26, 2023 at 4:08 am

You guys don’t have a clue wtf you’re talking about!

  27. Wolf6151 on April 26, 2023 at 4:10 am

Did the federal guidelines regarding barrel length and overall length change recently?

  28. TexMex on April 26, 2023 at 4:11 am

I feel it would be a nice woods gun, I feel its like the the Mare’s leg pistols,

  29. Jesse Eno on April 26, 2023 at 4:19 am

Finally an area Canada is winning in lol we can put a butt stock on one of those

  30. KOSTL Music on April 26, 2023 at 4:21 am

    What sling is that.

  31. Zac White on April 26, 2023 at 4:22 am

  32. A G on April 26, 2023 at 4:22 am

Maaan I absolutely love the fuck outta this Vid!!! You guys made my day! Haven’t laughed this hard in weeks!! 😂

  33. William Kushner on April 26, 2023 at 4:23 am

One of the best anti-carjacking weapons out there I believe lol.
Mine has a crimson trace green side saddle laser which is an absolute game changer for putting rounds on the target effectively fast.
I have the velcro six round detachable shell holders on the receiver and I have a tru glo clamp on over the barrel fiber optic green dot front sight.
This is one of my most favorite practical POWERFUL stowable self defense guns I own.
This one goes with me in the backcountry here in Montana loaded with brennecke black magic 1 3/8 hard cast slugs for bear protection or mountain lion.
If you’re on the fence about this gun wondering about how effective or accurate it is look no further than Clint Smith from Thunder Ranch giving a demonstration on this gun.

  34. Mullet Over on April 26, 2023 at 4:23 am

If you can’t aim the shockwave you should not own the shockwave.

  35. Patriots Pride on April 26, 2023 at 4:26 am

I just want the hat with the flowers and the mask for home defense that would deter anybody

  36. ugsisr on April 26, 2023 at 4:27 am

They are a Tool specific to an application.

  37. thedoorguycharlie on April 26, 2023 at 4:28 am

There might be better options but it a sexy beast. I’d move out of CA to have one 😉

  38. Sadaway on April 26, 2023 at 4:28 am

put a knoxx breecher’s grip on it and a vertical foregrip and you can aim with the bead no problem

  39. mtower235 on April 26, 2023 at 4:29 am

How the public thinks military insertion goes 😂

  40. Ross Nold on April 26, 2023 at 4:31 am

Most folks think that these types of weapons are hip fired only!!!! Ya don’t need a stock, hold your cheek up next to your wrist. Just as accurate and faster on target.

  41. Dimas Salazar on April 26, 2023 at 4:31 am

After practicing with it, it’s not hard to hit with it. Besides it’s a whole lot of fun to shoot. Birdshot is still not too expensive.

  42. JD on April 26, 2023 at 4:35 am

Funny stuff – think I’d prefer the Shockwave to a heavy framed revolver as a first option in bear country. I’ve carried a Guide Gun for years but rethinking it after seeing how compact that is.

  43. Barackmycat on April 26, 2023 at 4:35 am

I`m thinking a 20 ga. with a laser for accuracy.

  44. ALAN HOLT on April 26, 2023 at 4:36 am

Maybe you two guys aren’t skilled

  45. ORIN on April 26, 2023 at 4:37 am

    Its just a fun gun.

  46. Steven Daniels on April 26, 2023 at 4:37 am

Everyone keeps complaining that you can’t aim without a stock. Put a brace on it.

  47. Paul Schwartz on April 26, 2023 at 4:39 am

Is Alan carrying the encyclopedia britannica in his front cargo pockets?

  48. Not Shared on April 26, 2023 at 4:39 am

    Unsubscribed due to foolishness

  49. youcan'tHandle thetruth on April 26, 2023 at 4:40 am

People don’t properly handle this thing because they are scared of it. You cheek the damn 12ga, it’ll slide along your face with your thumb as a guide, it won’t buck your face or your teeth or whatnot. DemonstratedConcepts youtube channel will show you how to put a strap on the pistol grip for better control and properly handle the thing. You can’t be scared of your firearm or of course you won’t utilize it properly. Shockwave is the best 12ga I’ve ever owned.

  50. Maurice419 on April 26, 2023 at 4:43 am

    Needs a laser on it!
