I’ve been loving my 930. Issues I found with mine were most of the springs had burrs that would eventually carve up the tubes they were in (simple sanding solved that problem) and the bolt release/ shell ejection button could get hit and create a double feed on the loading ramp. You can disable the shell ejection by removing the bolt release button ( they’re various videos here about that) and adding 1/8 to 1/4 of something firm in the back of the button where the spring is held. This makes it so that the spring will bottom out before it engages the shell release latch but has enough movement to release the bolt when it is locked back.

if you widen your stance on the third target you’ll be able to pivot faster on the third target

Can confirm the Or3gun package makes the 930jm a better shotgun. Mines the ice and gold 2 tone comp package. Its performance is almost on par with the 940. Nice video

  34. af22raptor23503 on March 4, 2023 at 3:28 am

FYI: if you are Running a Mossberg 930 in Wet or Humid Climate you need to REPLACE the Spacer Tube because WATER WILL COLLECT and STAY there and Create a Corrosion HEAVEN on your Magazine Tube and it will ALSO Create Sluggish Action because there is NO WHERE for the Water to GO! OR3GUNS has a Solution which which is a Spacer Tuber that has Holes and is Coated with so it has LESS Friction with the Magazine TUBE! I live in Central Florida humidity is HELL here and I found out the Hard Way the Weak Point of the 930 during a 3 gun match! I have a 930 SPX Blackwater Edition that I have Customized a bit since I purchased it back in the Early Summer of 2015. I put the Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock with Cheek Weld, Aluminum 8rd Side Saddle on the Receiver and 6rd Saddle on the Stock, MT Magazine Clamp, GGG Follower, couple of parts from OR3Gun.
