This is on sale for 299$ at palmetto

  2. M Clark on November 20, 2022 at 9:40 pm

Mossberg was our go-to shotgun in the Marine Corps, they are durable and show up every time you squeezed the trigger. Great review, I may need to pick this pistol up!!

  3. Dale Miller on November 20, 2022 at 9:42 pm

I love mine, soft shooting even with heavy loads.

  4. Gabriel Ruiz on November 20, 2022 at 9:42 pm

Does it have a Glock universal light rail or a 1913 rail?

  5. Corey Piazza on November 20, 2022 at 9:43 pm

The one reason I would warn anyone away from purchasing this gun is Mossberg does not keep up on their magazine stock and you will be hard pressed finding any website or local store to carry them. I’ve emailed Mossberg and they have no ETA on stocking these items. You get a 13 round mag and a 15 round mag, and apparently that is all you’ll ever have. I have the gun, love the gun, gun feels and shoots great, I’d prefer to keep the gun, but I’m seriously thinking of trading it in for a Glock so I can have more mags.

  6. J on November 20, 2022 at 9:43 pm

It was cool that you emphasized that O.M. Mossberg and Sons is still a private, family-run business.

  7. Peter Ferrari on November 20, 2022 at 9:44 pm

I like this pistol. Looks to be very similar to the Glock 48 in size and build. I love my 48 so I’m sure this will do me just fine. I will get one eventually.

  8. Jeffrey Locke on November 20, 2022 at 9:45 pm

I need it and a holster for strong side or cross draw belt duty carry.

  9. Thaddeus JImenez on November 20, 2022 at 9:47 pm

I have both MCSC1 and MC2 enjoy carrying both. They both handle Steel and aluminum rounds fine.

  10. pravoslavnik on November 20, 2022 at 9:48 pm

Love my MC2C. It is perfect, handles like a charm. i only wish they made a 20 round magazine for it !

  11. V.German11B on November 20, 2022 at 9:48 pm

You know, some platforms I haven’t been interested in previously you have gotten my attention on them. In fact, I have acquired 2 handguns and 1 rifle for myself based on your personal assessments, which, prior to your reviews, I wasn’t interested. Thanks, AGAIN, for your valuable input, Mike. 💪🏼😎🇺🇲

  12. Ryan Meatyard on November 20, 2022 at 9:53 pm

I’d like to see a vs of this against the arex delta or the hellcat pro

  13. Advanced Tactical Imports HSV on November 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

What mags does this take? CZ75B? G19?

  14. Lyndon Benjamin on November 20, 2022 at 9:55 pm

Hi, Lyndon from Cape Town, South Africa ☀️ Great content on your channel – Thanks 🙏🏽
Love Mossberg as a brand, can’t wait to get the Mossberg JM 940 Pro Tactical, looked really cool on TFB when James reviewed it… I purchased the Mossberg MMR AR15 but don’t see many reviews on YouTube, would be great if you could review that rifle. Thanks 🙏🏽

  15. Heath Haley on November 20, 2022 at 9:56 pm

    Great review brother.

  16. Menashe Menni Kashi on November 20, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Great video! Do you know any IWB holsters that will fit the MC2c?

  17. Jeffrey Locke on November 20, 2022 at 9:58 pm

I would get one in optic ready and get it ported by Mag-Na-Port.

  18. Kevin Chan on November 20, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Did you find shooting this less snappy than the original hellcat ?

  19. Dion Morehead on November 20, 2022 at 10:01 pm

I agree on the family business. I’m glad you go into depth with your reviews, like being at the counter of a gun store. I was thinking of purchasing this gun based off the price I saw it at $299, and family name. Thanks for positive review as always.

  20. Rafael Madrigal on November 20, 2022 at 10:01 pm

I saw it in the store. Reviews have been positive so far. I have not read or seen negative reviews. Sounds like something I would like to own someday. Just because.

  21. Midas 78-2218 on November 20, 2022 at 10:02 pm

Love both my Mossbergs MC1SC and MC2C. Only thing is, do not use steel casing in it. I got a cheap box of Winchester USA Forged 115 grain and 90% of them jammed. Very frustrating.

  22. Michael Melling on November 20, 2022 at 10:04 pm

If I ever win the Mega Millions Lotto I’ll give consideration to creating a firearms company that makes shotguns, rifles and pistols for lefties.
And thanks for an excellent Review!!

  23. Neil Schiavi on November 20, 2022 at 10:10 pm

    I like their shotguns own two of them a 12ga & a 410Bore…..lets see their sub/compact 9mm and a 380 Acp.

  24. Adam Kaminski on November 20, 2022 at 10:10 pm

    MC2c or Hellcat Pro?

  25. Joe Flowers on November 20, 2022 at 10:11 pm

Seems like it’s going against the G48 and the Arex Delta 2–the latter is a really good value, so I’d like to see this compared to that. I found the Arex a bit snappy, but for what I paid to test it out, it was a good deal.

  26. Tony on November 20, 2022 at 10:11 pm

Wasn’t even interested in this particular pistol but wow, excellent review. Subscribed.

  27. Timothy Bagrowski on November 20, 2022 at 10:12 pm

Just ordered one today, Palmetto has them on clearance for $299 – not sure if that’s a bad sign that Mossberg is getting back out of the pistol business, I didn’t look too hard, but just glancing I didn’t see the MC1 on their website and I couldn’t find anyone selling MC1’s – hopefully they’ll still available as I’d like to get one of those someday too.

  28. ertatta on November 20, 2022 at 10:13 pm

Excellent no nonsense review of what seems to be a well designed firearm. Palmetto has these for $300 and I’m thinking I’ll pick one up today. Btw, what mountains are those in the background of your range footage?

  29. Kelly Crosby on November 20, 2022 at 10:13 pm

If you like the MC2C you will love the sc version. 14+1 and red dot ready. Just need the holster market to step up.

  30. blow meee on November 20, 2022 at 10:17 pm

I won one and love it

  31. Angel Vazquez on November 20, 2022 at 10:17 pm

Just saw the MC2C 1000 round torture test I’m telling you I’m very impressed with mossberg’s pistol

  32. Tactical Considerations on November 20, 2022 at 10:18 pm

What is your interest in seeing Mossberg expand?

You see, I’m far less interested in the takedown(which is pretty neat, I’ll admit), and more interested in the manual safety they implemented on these guns. For the uninitiated, it’s a crossbolt safety. On a pistol. I don’t know how to feel about that.

  34. Rudy Vazquez on November 20, 2022 at 10:19 pm

    🙏🏼

  35. Ryan Hopman on November 20, 2022 at 10:22 pm

I have been so interested in this gun. I think I will buy it as my pistol for my 21st birthday

  36. James DeLap on November 20, 2022 at 10:23 pm

    Mc2c or shield plus performance?

  37. Ricky Spanish on November 20, 2022 at 10:24 pm

It’s a non crappy carbon steel and barrel hellcat. Good ole mossberg 416 steel

  38. DJ on November 20, 2022 at 10:24 pm

Great looking gun. I own 4 Glocks. This will definitely be my next purchase!!!

  39. Critical_libertarian on November 20, 2022 at 10:25 pm

The only thing I dislike is the lack of holster options for it

  40. 1quiensabe on November 20, 2022 at 10:26 pm

Lol- “And that’s how you die in a gunfight.” at the end of the video. Another way is to drop the magazine by hitting the release. I have owned more guns than I can remember over the years and have never had that happen until this model. Maybe just me but I doubt it. Very sensitive and prominent mag release that seems to be in the way.
Also, as someone else mentioned, no steel casings. I can add no reloads. My gun store sold me reloads without telling me – although I should have checked, but when you buy ammo it’s generally assumed that they are not reloads. Took 3 people, tools and a lot of time to get it unjammed. I would have been dead in a self defense situation but not a good idea to carry an untested gun. I’m sure many beginners do anyway. Nice gun overall but will be trading it in soon for the above reasons. Just doesn’t work for me. May work for everyone else.

  41. Leland B on November 20, 2022 at 10:27 pm

I love my MC2C , mine has never failed yet. The one drawback…try to find extra mags lol. I perused the internet and every place was out of stock. I bought the kydex holster from Mossberg site…excellent! When I told a buddy at work that I bought the Mossberg MC2 ..with a unimpressed look on his face, he asked….is it better than a Hi-Point ? I was speechless. No comparison at all.

  42. jonnyt16 on November 20, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Never understood why pulling the trigger during breakdown of a pistol bothered anyone or why its even an issue. I mean, what do you do during dry fire practice??

  43. Curtis & Christy Russell on November 20, 2022 at 10:30 pm

Love my 590 A1 very happy to see they are making a nice striker fired pistol for a good price ! Great review

  44. Jim Plue on November 20, 2022 at 10:31 pm

Got mine for $350 plus it came with a free black arch rev con holster

  45. Roger Yarnell on November 20, 2022 at 10:31 pm

My EDC. I think it’s just as easy to carry as any of the sub compact 9s because it’s the same width. But it fits my hand better and I find I can shoot it better. Several hundred rounds over several range trips in the last 1 1/2 years I’ve owned it, and not a single issue.

  46. Jim Phillips on November 20, 2022 at 10:33 pm

I think this striker is of same quality and reliabilty of the Mossberg Shotguns. I am interested and love the sights and easy concealability.

  47. Miroslav M on November 20, 2022 at 10:33 pm

I love Mossberg, but they should stay with what they know best: pump action shotguns. If Smith & Wesson start making shotguns, Mossberg will be pissed off. When they decided to copy a Glock, rather then to design their own gun, they should copy only what is good in Glocks. And they took something from S&W what they (S&W) developed first: Red Dot to seat low on the slide so that the standard iron sights can be used as co-witness in conjunction with the Red Dot which is crucial to aim thru Red Dot without re-learning aiming. They didn’t even figure this out on their shotguns so the Truglo had to make a special Red Dot for Mossberg shotguns which is mounted directly without needs for a Picatinny rail.

  48. The stock XJ96 on November 20, 2022 at 10:35 pm

I would say I’d definitely buy one of I didn’t have my taurus g3c already, and it had a safety.

  49. theonlyonegrimey on November 20, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Just bought one I think it’s an awesome pistol

  50. Don Grimes on November 20, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Out of all my pistols from 5 different companies the one I actually like the best is the MC2C.
