    Hah, a fantastic inovation. Know this 8x ($400) and 14x ($900) deliver, given the same round, same rifle scenario- deliver the same solution, ballistic solution. Think about that.
    I live in California and Nevada and 1200 yards is not an issue. Do you want to stalk game and take a shot at 400yds then track it at 6800′ ? lol fantastic innovation. At this day and age BDX technology is "mature" I am all in as well. 14x on my 700WM and 10x on the M18 308 and 8x on the 16" AR10. Works amazingly well. The technology in addition to becoming mature has been significantly simplified. No longer do you need to know all settings to settle on a generic load. The default is GROUP 1-6 will get you to 500yds. Once you have it paired it powers off. The Scopes are battery hogs but in a hide lying prone the motac shuts you down till you range something. then it delivers immediately. My buddy typically works the rifle and I laz his intended target. It’s fantastic.
