In this video I cover 5 Tips for having the most success with gunshows.
Good tips. I do the same thing. When I get there I speed thru on a survey lap, and make a mental note on where things are that I am interested in. Then I home in on those specific tables.
was that a old gen crye plate carrier?
That comment on the bag to bring along was something I hadn’t thought of and I’m looking to purchase my very firm firearm. I’ve used them before and know to respect them and all. It is time for now some self preservation, especially with it being no time like the present!
I’m going to my first gun show but I’m not old enough to buy one yet. What are some cool things that they have their for people who are into guns but can’t get one.
Good advice. The carry bag is very good price.
I’m planning on going to my 1st gun show Saturday so this is really very helpful thank you
Awesome video, great comments by everyone! First time going to a gun show today over in Lacey, Washington put on by Big Top Promotions from 9am to 6pm. Looking for a good deal on a G19 or ammo and/or shotgun. I’m not sure I’ll be able to find the deal I am looking for since it is their last day. I am confident however, if you are looking for a good deal on an investment property or selling your home I can help you with that. Just look me up and I will help you get what you want in the time you want it; experience matters!
"I’m just a person" lol made me chuckle.
I’ve never been to a gun show. What about buying new guns? Are there deals on a Maverick 88 Batum? A Taurus TX 22? Just curious if there is and what might a deal look like?
There seems to be no good deals to me.
boring video
Me personally I’ve never been to a gun show with the purpose of buying a firearm until he recently I’ve taken a little more interest in it and I myself and a good friend was both wondering and speculating about which is the best day to go the first day or the second day?? I had no idea me and him said well they probably put all the expensive stuff out first and they sell all that and we just went back and forth and I said well I’m sure some vendors save some of the better things for the second day but honestly without your video we had no idea but now we know we want to get there at the butt crack of dawn! So thank you for that sir!
I grew up going to gun shows in Wichita and now I’m a Missouri resident in kc so I go to Springfield and kc shows! maybe ill see ya in passing im usually one of the guys walking around with a rifle on my shoulder with an obnoxious for sale sign taped to the barrel. Love the game and the unkonws of whats to be found on every table.
It’s funny how the only time I’ve been to a gun show was around 2004, back when the only gun I had was a hunting rifle. I had been given the tip to make a quick round of the tables to get an idea of the best prices. I never felt comfortable buying a gun from a show because I worry about getting a lemon.
That "New in Box" handgun at the gun show is actually a "Used in Box" handgun purchased from a retail gun store and then cleaned and scrubbed to look "New".
I never went back to a gun show after I figured that out.
Bad advice on the way to your first show
FYI: At all gun shows in America, BATF and State Police are taking pictures of all license plates in the parking lot. You will be in their data base for future use. Good luck.
I’d like to see shows limited to just firearm accessories and peripherals. If you already have your firearms, gun shows are boring. Many limit the number of venders selling accessories. Because of that, I simply stopped going to gun shows.
I just sold a long gun at a gun show by carrying it around with a MAKE OFFER sticker on it. Only 4 people asked about it and I went back to the first vendor because he made the best offer.
Also, I’ve gotten great deals in the final hour of the last 3 gun shows I went to. The sellers were willing to take a lowball, rather than pay the fees and not make the sale.
Great info I Loved both the gun show vids. You got a new subscriber in me.
Nice wall !
! additional tip that i learned at my first trip to Wannmacher, (sp) Take clothing for all weather potentials. Freezing your butt off in record cold Tulsa lines to get in the show puts a damper on the day
I would like to get some information about a 1940 mauser 33/40 that I recently acquired.???
How much do you think a Zastava m70 AK with a foldable stock and foregrip would sell for?
How difficult is to find a 303 British Lee Enfield like the one you have on your wall? How much is a good price for it? Nice videos!
Have a gun show coming in august in Arkansas, how do you find private sellers there
There have not been any deals at gun shows in years. Biggest gun show tip is Don’t go
Great tip! I hope to attend one in the future. Unfortunately, every time I’m on a visit my ship always leave early. My only chance is really a drydock or wetdock layover for a week or two. I hope there is a Gunshow event going on when that happens.
Dang it….i was going to use cryto….
Wood guns warp
Imagine having a semi auto M243
its the Garand Thumb reference for me
So if I already know my state requires a ffl transfer and I’m going to a show outside of my state …..how does it work when i purchase a gun?
If you buy multiple guns at a gun show but from different vendors does one background check work for multiple purchases or do
You have to do a check at every stop ?
Gun shows need to be guns ammo knives military memorabilia etc etc.. one of the last gun shows I went to had two tables of overpriced guns and every other table in the room was either Roofing or vinyl siding or jewelry or some other b*******. If I’m going to pay $10 to get in, I want to see guns guns and more guns.
If I wanted to see flea market items I would go to a flea market.
Dude, waiting period, wtf. Come to Texas where we are free
There could be exceptions to the non gun items such a knives and memorabilia related to guns
Great video 👍🏽
most of the good deals are purchased bye dealers before the doors open in the morning.your best chance at a good deal is watching the walk ins coming in the door, just don’t get caught as it is frowned upon.
Never thought about taking a cheap little duffel bag, good idea!
Are you here in Indiana?
I also have several items in my gun show bag. I keep a pen and small notepad, bore light, bore measure, magnet, magnifying glass, tape measure, small knife, a candy bar (for a mid-show energy boost), and these days, a spare mask+hand sanitizer.
Take notes of things you see that you want write it down or type it out on memo in cell maybe even snap a pic of it.
Helped me to decide whether or not inquire about a waiting period with all these strict gun control bills , while out of state
Ayy Missouri guy, last few ive been to in KC was very disappointed. Very few private vendors and everything way over priced.
Bring a bag!!! Great great tip.
Good tips thank you
I would be a first time buyer of any gun. I’ll be going with my sister and her husband, but I still want any advice I can get.
And covid killed the gunshow. HHMMMM!!!
I am in California. I haven’t been to a gun show yet. Not new to guns, just never been to a gun show. We have the ten day waiting period here for gun purchases online or in gun shops. If you are making private party purchases at a gun show, is there still the requirement for the background check or the ten day wait to pick up the purchase? I have my regular FFL dealer to go to for online gun and ammo sales, but I am completely green when it comes to gun show sales and protocol.
