And here i cannot get a Shaman as they are either out of stock or greatly inflated.

Never heard that before. 2 1/2” of joy

  5. Gravity on August 25, 2022 at 8:04 pm

As usual Spyderco stays committed to making the ugliest knives in their price range.

  6. ryck2099 on August 25, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Back in the day my everyday carry for about 5 years was a CRICKET™ FRN
C29BK until it was stolen. I still miss my little knife.

  7. Mike D on August 25, 2022 at 8:07 pm

So disappointed they haven’t done a salt PM2 or Salt Native Chief.

Dude gotta be kin to Gene Wilder

  12. Charles Sumner on August 25, 2022 at 8:14 pm

What is the point of going through “new models and versions “ when you cannot get the “old models” ? I know this is not your fault DCA but trying to get through to any manufacturer is like trying to buy one of their products unless of course you want to be put on a waitlist!

  13. Chris F on August 25, 2022 at 8:16 pm

Magnacut Kapara with hunter green g10 please!

  14. Gary Mccreath on August 25, 2022 at 8:16 pm

Clear your throat man, sounds like gargling while talking

  15. Quantum Mechanic on August 25, 2022 at 8:16 pm

The prices for spyderco knives got really stupid years ago .

  16. KarRawr on August 25, 2022 at 8:17 pm

I can watch these two talk about knives for eternity. Great stuff

  17. ddyoder on August 25, 2022 at 8:17 pm

    KC > BHQ

  18. Father Time on August 25, 2022 at 8:19 pm

It’s 2022 and knifecenter still hasn’t figured out how to break up the video according to knife.

  19. Mikey Likes IT on August 25, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    love that stovepipe!

  20. Alex LaJeunesse on August 25, 2022 at 8:22 pm

Some of these I’m definitely interested in. Chief lightweight and Endela wharncliffe for sure. But these less expensive version of the Carter kitchen knives is what I’ve been waiting for! The regular ones are almost as expensive as his custom knives.

  21. John.. on August 25, 2022 at 8:22 pm

Oh, man,,, Stretch 2 XL lightweight,,, absolutely fantastic,, just ordered one,, can’t wait for it to arrive,, 2.7 ounces,, !!!!!!!

  22. Steven A. on August 25, 2022 at 8:23 pm

Damn spider con taking all of my money.

  23. ham on August 25, 2022 at 8:24 pm

    Boring

  24. James Broen on August 25, 2022 at 8:26 pm

It’s good to see Spyderco offering kitchen knives. I love the Stovepipe but I’ve stopped buying folders. I get entranced by the exotic materials, design and craftmanship however once it’s in my hands it gets opened and closed a few times and then ends up in a drawer. Living in a high rise I just don’t have a use for such a knife. A well designed kitchen knife made with quality materials gets displayed on a magnetic strip and gets used every day. My current favorite and most used is a Zwillling Kramer Carbon paring knife that’s shows a decent amount of patina.

  25. I Have a Headache on August 25, 2022 at 8:27 pm

Lmao, did he just compare 8Cr13MoV to 154CM?

  26. Timothy Stone on August 25, 2022 at 8:28 pm

Spyderco has been phoning it in for decades. All looks the same with cheap steel and crap handles.

  27. MF UNDERTOW on August 25, 2022 at 8:30 pm

I’m so pumped for that Urban.

  28. George Cadenas on August 25, 2022 at 8:32 pm

    I thought 8CR was more like 440C.

Is it really more like 154CM?

  29. my vids on August 25, 2022 at 8:33 pm

Pretty disapointing what Spyderco has to offer in the recent lineups. Cleaver is the only fresher design … and here they are chasing behind an ongoing trend. Rest is variation of old stock models. Getting boring and lazy. Endela was only an uncreative move mimiking the downsizing effect with the Para3. Kuchi was nice, Shmock had its moment. Were are the ideas? Sure, Eric is brilliant and DCA keeps up his great work (I don‘t dig at all what Bhq is pulling off).

  30. Ground of Being on August 25, 2022 at 8:33 pm

Spyderco has become the Nike of knives. $$ for the name. Value isnt there anymore. Just sales because of youtube reviews and forced scarcity (exclusives) manipulation.

  31. The Sinful Truth on August 25, 2022 at 8:35 pm

Stop making excuses for not making better knives and playing it safe… these knives are trash

  32. Jo Jo on August 25, 2022 at 8:36 pm

I’ve been researching nakiri knives for my kitchen and this one is sweet!

  33. Ergo Propter Hoc on August 25, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Eric spoke with authority about the performance, design, and manufacturing aspects of Spyderco knives. Another recent interviewee from a competitive company was disproportionately focused on the pretty handle colors of his product line. The contrast is notable and reassuring towards my recent purchases of several Spyderco products. Thanks!

  34. James Madison on August 25, 2022 at 8:39 pm

    Thanks for show.

  35. Mntoyaz on August 25, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Can’t wait for the Lil Native Wharncliffe!!!!!

  36. Maroon Guy on August 25, 2022 at 8:41 pm

I love my Yojumbo! Got a Yojimbo also, and seems like a Micro Yojimbo will sonn be added to the the dojo. That "Stovepipe" seems lika a knife looking for a purpose/niche/job. That’s just my own opinion about that. Otherwise the new selection of frn knives looks good.

  37. Cameron Chicken84 on August 25, 2022 at 8:41 pm

    i want a janisong

  38. TheKillerKlok on August 25, 2022 at 8:42 pm

Wow those kitchen knives might be the first thing I have seen from Spyderco that has me excited in years.

  39. irwin808 on August 25, 2022 at 8:42 pm

Can’t wait to see the micro yojimbo!

  40. Mark JG on August 25, 2022 at 8:43 pm

Spyderco is my favorite folding knife company , however in 2022 there is nothing of interest for me . Most of these knives are all black and FRN handles for lower cost . There are no Micarta offerings or nice colors like green , blue , red maybe there will be some sprint runs or exclusives we have not heard about?. Though I do not care for those because it is a shopping cart race mania sales event not worth the stress or cost to buy one. Spyderco needs to Make their most popular models the Shaman , Para 2 , Manix in nice colors at a regular production run like they did with the Para 2 Cruwear brown micarta version. Maybe next year Spyderco will have more interesting choices.

  41. Shawnee Union on August 25, 2022 at 8:46 pm

You can feel DCAs reverence for Spyderco. Not the flashiest things at the show but legendary ergonomics and steel choices.

  42. Steven A. on August 25, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Damn spiderco taking all of my money.

  43. Barone Roberto on August 25, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Bring back the Bushcraft Knife u’d sell out again

  44. C_ Solly on August 25, 2022 at 8:49 pm

Gonna have to grab one of those Native Magnacut Salts.

  45. David Jensen on August 25, 2022 at 8:50 pm

Alta Vista! Are you that old?

  46. Father Time on August 25, 2022 at 8:50 pm

That awkward forced handshake for the camera is the epitome of cringe.

  47. David Jensen on August 25, 2022 at 8:52 pm

OMG. I so want the Lil’ Native Wharncliffe. Might mean a divorce as my wife thinks my one knife (Para3) is more than enough. Might have to start a gofundme.

  48. Tobias Gibson on August 25, 2022 at 8:52 pm

Please don’t put a half stop on the little native Slippy.

  49. Paul Johnson on August 25, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Another American company that has dropped the quality they used to make.
My older spyderco knives were great.
The new blades just don’t keep their edge & are too expensive.

  50. Coty Demster on August 25, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Spyderco knives are just so ugly though
