North American Arms 22 Mag Mini revolver

North American Arms 22 Mag Mini revolver

There are SMALL handguns, and then there are REALLY small handguns, almost too small to shoot! Again, since I am getting weary of this hot weather, John and I decided to use our “weather control” magic again.

To be fair you have NBA Player sized hands…

  2. Scott Tilson on May 13, 2022 at 6:33 pm

I know people look at the small gun is not very deadly. But I came across somebody whose grandmother killed a robber with a 22 mag Derringer.

  3. cristo dk on May 13, 2022 at 6:35 pm

I like it, but there are others,,, thank you mr.

  4. israel concepcion on May 13, 2022 at 6:36 pm

    Love my little baby

  5. mike c on May 13, 2022 at 6:37 pm

I pull the trigger with my right hand while cocking it with my left. This is the most stable way I’ve been able to hold and shoot it fairly accurately. And also much faster follow up shots by cocking with left hand keeping it on target

  6. Dflo Dflow on May 13, 2022 at 6:38 pm

Dude it penetrates way more than the 380. Check it out 4 ur self

  7. Soi Dog on May 13, 2022 at 6:38 pm

The NAA in 22 Mag is not your carry weapon. It’s your third and last resort, in the event your preferred carry piece and backup fail.

  8. Sam Williams on May 13, 2022 at 6:38 pm

Hard to shoot… ding, ding, ding.

  9. Daniel Majerly on May 13, 2022 at 6:40 pm

    Cool little firearm

  10. Andrew Disney on May 13, 2022 at 6:41 pm

This is an OLD video but bullet placement is EVERYTHING! Follow up makes it better! LGBFJB!

  11. Euripides Panz on May 13, 2022 at 6:43 pm

It’s better to be a mostly dead cowboy than an all dead cowboy.

  12. Ironman on May 13, 2022 at 6:46 pm

Good for up close and personal..

  13. Allen Smith on May 13, 2022 at 6:47 pm

I find these miniature revolvers and Derringers absolutely fascinating, the craftsmanship and expert machinery used to produce these things are remarkable. Imagine what these things have done and meant to over seas espionage operators where indeed being “almost armed” rather than completely naked has been the difference between life and death and often the only non melee weapon practically feasible to protect one self when entrenched deep within enemy lines or remote locations.

  14. Chris Embry on May 13, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Thank you so much. I know it has been 2015 since you made this video. I learned that you have to pull the trigger to get that thing to go into the notch.

  15. Soi Dog on May 13, 2022 at 6:49 pm

    Perfect for the ladies.

  16. Alex Jason on May 13, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Как по мне, так с обычными накладками на рукоятке револьверчик выглядит куда как привлекательней. Ну да, возможно, носить и стрелять куда удобнее со складной, но..

  17. Angel Zavala on May 13, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Can you fire 22LR through one of these?

  18. Larry Roberts on May 13, 2022 at 6:55 pm

If you carry one in your pocket get a holster that protects the hammer to it will cock back just enough for the cylinder to turn and have the hammer resting on a live round and then the hammer will start cutting a groove in the cartridge get a holster that protects hammer and trigger

  19. LJ C on May 13, 2022 at 6:55 pm

    It will kill!

  20. Anthony Galliart on May 13, 2022 at 6:56 pm

I could see this with the medium size rubber grip as a back up to your EDC. Like a derringer, a get off me gun. Would not personally use as my EDC. I agree with Hickok, I would carry a J frame .38 before this or even a Bersa Thunder .380 … Small handy firearms you can get a good hold on. I have been known to carry a High Standard .22 LR derringer as a back up and I believe with training and small hands one of these mini revolvers could shift the fight in your favor just like a good push knife or switchblade.

  21. israel concepcion on May 13, 2022 at 6:56 pm

Can anyone tell what the pen 🖊 is called please

  22. Mark Gamblin on May 13, 2022 at 6:58 pm

The hammer at rest on these does not touch a round. There’s a safety mechanism that prevents that until it’s cocked and trigger pulled.

  23. bruce belitz on May 13, 2022 at 6:59 pm

We have one with a laser and a bayonet mounted, we call it the assault weapon! Just a funny conversation piece!

  24. ROB 9mm on May 13, 2022 at 6:59 pm

My uncle is a Marine, this is the gun he carries, first round bird shot..

  25. Robert Norwood on May 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm

It’s a one and done’r…someone surprises you surprise them then beat feet; one to the face should do it. Mine have easy handling rubberised grips and simply practice with it and know it’s just a one and done piece and you have five rounds to do that.

  26. Scott Tilson on May 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm

I myself find it a very easy gun to shoot. Hands are a little bit bigger than average size.

  27. S DEYO on May 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm

I have one for the reason that it is the most concealable, I am a mechanic and anything belt worn would print or show easily. This slips into my pocket and is held by the clip. No one knows I have it. When I do tell someone about it they say "a 22 mag is not big enough for self defense ". I have asked them if I could then shoot them at 10 yards ( just to prove a point) I have not had any takers yet, even the guys that carry 45s! My point is that if you can’t carry a bigger gun, carry one that will work. It might not be for a gun fight, but will work in an o**** moment.

  28. Jacob Jones on May 13, 2022 at 7:01 pm

They do make a top break version called the ranger that comes with an auto ejector like the old turn of the century revolvers. It’d be pretty easy to design a moon clip for those

  29. James Bristow on May 13, 2022 at 7:03 pm

I own the Black widow 22 mag with large rubber grips mine saved my ass when I was jump by two guys that tried to rob me I shot both they took them to hospital than to jail there not a gun fight gun but you can get a person off of you

  30. Matthew Obrien on May 13, 2022 at 7:04 pm

    You’re a rider?

  31. John Doe on May 13, 2022 at 7:04 pm

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Charles Bronston uses this gun in some of the Death Wish scenes, notably, the subway scene and the underground parking garage scene.

  32. 505 Armory on May 13, 2022 at 7:04 pm

I’m debating getting one should I? Is it worth it. Idk! I’m torn!😫

  33. jacksvo on May 13, 2022 at 7:06 pm

We just rented a car and found one of these in the glove compartment

  34. mike c on May 13, 2022 at 7:07 pm

I would never go into combat with one of these. 2 of them in 22 mag and my 4" barrel 22 short for a backup now we’re talking! Hahahaha. Just kidding. I’m taking my twin HK USP 45s

  35. kelly gable on May 13, 2022 at 7:08 pm

so how the hell can we buy one?

  36. Danny Arthur on May 13, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Try the NAA Black Widow Convertible in 22lr/22mag, pop balloons all day long at 50 yards, and I am beyond blind. An American Derringer I cannot hit the side of a barn at 10ft.

  37. james helms on May 13, 2022 at 7:09 pm

I got a few of these and I love mine carry at least one with my edc 45 1911 or my 40 call smith and Wesson never hurts to have a good ole 22 mag as a back up .

  38. mario medina on May 13, 2022 at 7:10 pm

You’re dead by the time the reload is done… 🙁

  39. Matthew Allen on May 13, 2022 at 7:11 pm

You should see if you can get your hands on the NAA Black Widow! That is a real shooter with better sights, and it has an oversized grip that even you would probably find comfortable.

  40. Elias Padilla on May 13, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Shoots awful ….. then proceeds to hit every damn target !

  41. gerard haubert on May 13, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Good choice with the grip/holster. Why do you need more than 5 shots?

  42. Nuccten on May 13, 2022 at 7:20 pm

To keep the hammer from tearing up my clothes, I carry mine (with the original small grips) in an open top eyeglass case in my pocket.

  43. mike c on May 13, 2022 at 7:21 pm

I love my little mouse gun I’ve actually got 2 of them in 22 mag. And I always have at least one of them on me even if I’m free balling wearing jogging shorts around the house on the weekend.

  44. Ibarraboyz on May 13, 2022 at 7:21 pm

    It’s perfect for snake shooting

  45. Andrew Disney on May 13, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Another fine video! This 22mag WILL get the job done! LGBFJB!

  46. aaron on May 13, 2022 at 7:27 pm

How does it feel when shooting with the original grips? I have big hands

  47. Lambert J. on May 13, 2022 at 7:28 pm

What ammunition are you using in your gun? Owners manual says not to use varmint ammo, but that’s all I can find at our nearby gun stores. Thanks.

  48. Kevin Crittendon on May 13, 2022 at 7:29 pm

I’ve had that same revolver for more than 20 years and I love it, it uses 22 long mag. hollow points, that carries enough power to do what ever needs to be done!

  49. S. Smith on May 13, 2022 at 7:30 pm

I’m average size, 5’8-9" , etc and have no problem with the gun. Apparently it’s fairly accurate, and fit/finish is great. Cost around $275-375 new (a few yrs ago), they’ve got a lot of different models/grips, longer barrels /22mag. I’ve got several different models and luvvem all. NAA/ North American Arms. Anyone who gets plugged in the guts with a 22lr/mag hollow point is gonna be discouraged. A head shot will either kill or seriously disable. The cartridge has good penetration and the gun will handle hi perf ammo. Smaller than a pack of smokes. The Bond Arms are full sized 2 shot Derringer in high calibers, 357, 45 and expensive. They’re beautiful but when you compare cost, ease of carry/weight and even utility I’d go with the NAA. But Hickok does have big hands, I don’t.

  50. Leon Shellabarger on May 13, 2022 at 7:31 pm

I’ve got The Dude model of this and love it. As he said – if nothing else it’s very well made and is also fun to shoot.
