NRA Hosts Annual Convention in Texas Just Days After School Shooting | EWTN News Nightly
The National Rifle Association (NRA) is hosting its annual convention in Houston today. The event comes just days after the fatal school shooting in Uvalde. 2 Texas lawmakers have decided not to attend out of respect for victims of the tragedy. Senior Writer for Townhall and author of the book “Fiery, But Mostly Peaceful,” Julio Rosas, joins to tell us more about his recent trip to Uvalde to report on the tragedy and who he talked to. Although another press conference was held earlier today in Uvalde, a lot of question are still unanswered, like why it took law enforcement so long to go in, take the shooter out and save the children. Rosas shares what more we know. He also fills us in on how the faith of the community of Uvalde is helping them cope with the tragedy.
