I was given one of these shotguns from the estate of a friend. Seems like they all can be a little sticky upon ejection. mine binds up a bit with the first of three loaded shells. It works fine if you just load 2. It is also 16ga.

I have my dad’s Model 190, he hunted pheasants and rabbits with it. Handing it down to our oldest son. Still works fine.

This was my first gun at 16 years old. I picked it out because it was bolt action and I thought it looked military. Used for rabbit, squirrel and quail. I let it go for $40.00 in 1968. Even though I have dozens of guns now, I wish I still had it. Fun gun!

my dad passed down his 190 to me a few years ago when i started going clay shooting with my buddies. my buddies were completely floored when i showed up to the range with what they thought was a bolt action rifle. i tell you what, that bolt action forces you to be either accurate with the first shot or be able to work that action super fast to get a second shot off. plastic butt plate will turn your shoulder into hamburger after 50 rounds but its worth it.

Sooo Cool!  I’ve got the exact same shotgun (but yours is in way better shape)!  I just love it, got a lot of ruffed grouse with it but this year I’m planning on using some No.1 Buckshot through the "modified" setting for deer.  Lot of guys offer good money for it but she’s a keeper!

I’ve got one and love it.  Wouldn’t use anything else for a day rabbit hunting (the adjustable choke at 1 CYL give a nice pattern spread of 6 shot).  It was my grandfathers and I inherited upon his death at age 16 – – – 41 years ago!

I have one of these. The last time I shot it, it came apart on the backside of the bolt action, if I am saying that right. How can I fix this problem?

I have a western field m148 16 gauge shotgun. Do you know if the magazine in your mossberg is interchangeable with the western field 16 gauge. I know at one point mossberg owned westernfield. If someone could help me out that would be great

My 9 yr grandson got ahold of mine last weekend and doesn’t want to give it back. I’m sad because I have only seen two of them in my life. But I am happy he likes it as well as I do.
