The most unconstitutional measure ever conceived by Commies. Voting yes will only prove that idiots run the asylum.

  2. cl223 on February 28, 2023 at 2:12 am

You need to take a shooting course at a police dept. The problem is there is no money for this and the police have no means to set up a course. This will mean no more gun sales for YEARS till the permit process is in place.

  3. scott hoskins on February 28, 2023 at 2:13 am

Only a complete Idiot would think this will stop Gun crimes

  4. Taylor Nelson on February 28, 2023 at 2:14 am

Hans Asperger was a Nazi. That is not a subject of debate. It’s a historical fact verified by at least two professional historians. And before any of you even dare to bring up Dean Faulk’s ‘Non-complicit’ in response to this let me remind you that she is not a professional historian and therefore not an authority on the subject. Only a Phd in History may rightfully claim that title. Examples of such people include Edith Sheffer, Herwig Czech, and Alison Rose Jefferson. Now, if you’re black, you should read Jefferson’s monograph, Living The California Dream because it concerns you.

total bs and no mags are grandfathered for CHL purposes. have to buy all new mags…how’s 3 less rounds make anyone safer? higher capacity mags don’t provide much of an advantage over the 10 rounders unless auto or just spray n pray. An active shooter walking around has plenty of time to reload.

  6. B on February 28, 2023 at 2:16 am

Right, I’m sure the criminals will abide… what a f*cking joke.

  7. HairyRope on February 28, 2023 at 2:18 am

    The left: We hate police
Also the left: Let the police decide who has guns

  8. John L on February 28, 2023 at 2:18 am

This some of the most draconian gun legislation in the nation. It’s necessary to point out that the majority of gun violence occurs in blue cities like Portland LA and Chicago, by criminals with unlawfully obtained firearms, which most often are small caliber pistols. All this does is created burdensome hurdles for legal gun owners and cause a great expense and dedication of resources by law enforcement. Resources and personnel that simply aren’t there. I believe that’s the idea. They make these emotional appeals and pretend to be concerned about public safety but that’s all an illusion. Their goal is to limit legal gun ownership or make it as difficult and as expensive as possible.

  9. Robert Cope on February 28, 2023 at 2:21 am

To purchase a firearm a permit must be obtained. To obtain a permit where will the firearm for the training come from? Due to the fees for the training and the permit at least the poor won’t be able to get a gun!

  10. Charles M on February 28, 2023 at 2:22 am

I’m voting yes on Measure 14 for 2 reasons:
    1). Drive down gun crime
2). Massively trigger gun owners (pun intended) and get them to leave Oregon

  11. cl223 on February 28, 2023 at 2:26 am

Also possession of a mag over 10 rounds outside your home is a felony even if you bought it before the ban. This is a stupid law.

How will more laws stop people who don’t obey the law?

  14. Jojo on February 28, 2023 at 2:29 am

Not critical and will not do anything.

  15. ChristianJon on February 28, 2023 at 2:29 am

This state is a joke and they’re basically just scamming us for taxes at this point.

  16. Lorenzo Cruz Forester on February 28, 2023 at 2:32 am

Maybe we should empower the innocent civilians instead of criminals 🤔 just something to think about get out there and learn about firearms and how to use em and defend yourself and your young ones don’t fall victim to this sheep way of thinking banning stuff will make you safer

  17. duvine on February 28, 2023 at 2:33 am

Sad, a broken system; gun use is the focus instead of violence prevention, thoughts and prayers

  18. John Kizziah on February 28, 2023 at 2:34 am

This is not a gun problem is a evil problem. Geeze this is gettin old.

  19. RollersKate on February 28, 2023 at 2:35 am

This measure is simply unconstitutional. Besides that, it deflects blame from lawmakers who actually bear responsibility for the violence taking place. Portland is becoming increasingly dangerous and this measure would only serve to prevent law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. The vast majority of criminals are already getting these guns illegally. This only effects people who were already following all gun laws… Including not shooting people which is already illegal.

  20. M.o.f.a222 on February 28, 2023 at 2:35 am

You CANNOT get a firearm after 3 days that’s incorrect in the middle of Covid it took MONTHS for a FEDERAL BACKGROUND CHECK (4473) to go through and ONLY THEN !!! whoever you bought your firearm from (someone with FFL)would call you to say YES your good or NO you are not. Also that magazine ban is ridiculous not only it would affect most handguns except for a small small group of compact carry pistols it would affect almost most all rifles as well. Also who’s going to PAY your local sheriffs office to train and do a SECOND background check on thousands of individuals. If this becomes law it would do more harm than good! This only affects law abiding citizens.

  21. Rich Knudsen on February 28, 2023 at 2:35 am

Well that will get every republican and gun right advocate to vote in november.
    Thanks gun hating dummies.

  22. Nunya Biz on February 28, 2023 at 2:38 am

Bunch of gun grabbing bitchy Karen’s.

  23. Taylor Nelson on February 28, 2023 at 2:38 am

Now, if you would like to discuss a measure that mandates both civilian and law enforcement to use the least amount of force necessary to preserve life, I would be happy to listen to you. But this is too far.

  24. Nunya Biz on February 28, 2023 at 2:40 am

114 is only supported by Neonazis.

  25. Ryan Derek on February 28, 2023 at 2:41 am

Any criminal that wants a gun will get one regardless they will take it off someone that owns it legally. You want safety stop making policies that encourage drug use and homelessness

  26. scott hoskins on February 28, 2023 at 2:42 am

Why not just make it illegal for criminals, Felons, outlaws etc..?
    Oh wait

  27. casperfast on February 28, 2023 at 2:44 am

This law would be a crime in itself

  28. Arlita Beard on February 28, 2023 at 2:46 am

Bad guys will get guns no matter what bills you pass

  29. ChristianJon on February 28, 2023 at 2:46 am

#1 in mental illness. That’s our problem – because these people vote. Explains a lot.

  30. Jpolloluver gaming on February 28, 2023 at 2:46 am

If this passes will the left be ready to give the same common sense restrictions to concealing their gender in public and lying on their state Id?

  31. Validkris on February 28, 2023 at 2:48 am

So criminals purchase guns Now 🤔

  32. Powwow Trip on February 28, 2023 at 2:49 am

    They’ll be the new Chicago

  33. TacotacoBurrito on February 28, 2023 at 2:50 am

    Unconstitutional.

  34. Christopher Dunstan on February 28, 2023 at 2:51 am

This law is made by the same politicians who let riots and crime run rampant, letting criminals free in not only in the state courts but in Federal courts.
Now they are trying to tell law abiding citizens that we need a permit to own any given firearm. Excuse me Sex Trafficking capital of the US. You can’t enforce your own laws. Now you are discouraging the public from the menace you acquiesce too

  35. Moldovawineimporter Moldova Traders LLC on February 28, 2023 at 2:53 am

These religious communist bastards know very well it isn’t gun violence it is thug violence !
Their whole plan with them being communist is too little by little prevent honest people from owning a gun.
This magazine ban won’t change a thing when slipping a new magazine in takes seconds.
This also would put the commie Nazi police in charge of who gets a gun that means for in Oregon a communist democrats state honest people will be rejected to buy and own a gun.
    T

  36. Chuck Ruckus on February 28, 2023 at 2:56 am

    Instead ban Murder?

  37. Terry Alford on February 28, 2023 at 2:56 am

  38. Charles M on February 28, 2023 at 2:57 am

1:39 this guy literally looks like Hillbilly Bin Laden

  39. Taylor Nelson on February 28, 2023 at 2:58 am

In order to understand how the second amendment can be used for empowerment of minorities, you must first acknowledge and accept how it has been used historically as a means of repression by majority towards minorities. The best example of this that I have seen was documented in Dr. Allison Rose Jefferson’s Living the California Dream, in which a mob of racists openly carrying firearms ran the rightful black owners off the resort. Then, of course, there was the Black Panthers and subsequent Mulford Act.

  40. Robert Page on February 28, 2023 at 2:59 am

Levo is a bunch of vipers. Of course its a Lutheran org

  41. Jim Jeffery on February 28, 2023 at 3:00 am

Unconstitutional. SCOTUS Bruen decision. This is doomed before it even gets voted on. Beside the fact that this would do nothing to stop crime. Only law abiding citizens will follow laws. Criminals by definition, do not care about gun control laws, especially when prosecutors are so lenient. This would only give criminals more of an advantage. There will always be evil people doing evil deeds. We need more responsible gun owners in society, not fewer.

  42. Taylor Nelson on February 28, 2023 at 3:01 am

The reason I must oppose this measure is simple. Stricter laws create an us vs. them mentality which creates a counter insurgency strategy by authorities which ends up alienating more people.

  43. Illustrious_Caveman on February 28, 2023 at 3:02 am

Yeah I’m sure all the criminals in possession of stolen guns who committ the vast majority of gun crime will surrender thier magazines join hands with these interfaith leaders and sing kumbaya. Truly brilliant leadership…

This will be an unfunded mandate. They are not going to pay the police departments to enforce this.
