Hopefully this video will help out everyone who’s deciding on which shotgun they want to unlock, or just want to hear my voice! Either way, this video is designed to cover all aspects of every currently available shotgun, their characteristics, preferred attachments, and how sexy each one is.

Keep in mind this video is heavily opinion oriented, where I discuss my own personal preference to each shotgun and their respective attachments.

Thank you guys so much for watching! You all are absolutely awesome!

  5. StrayWolf on August 21, 2022 at 7:50 pm

Anyone else use the sweeper with slugs more as a sniper than a shotgun.

  6. Kirk Cooey on August 21, 2022 at 7:50 pm

I like tr better than vs gamplay wise, but the red emblems, names  and death marks of the TR give me eye strain so I have to use vs

  7. Randy Fernando on August 21, 2022 at 7:50 pm

Thank you for the videos man.
I sub and like the video too.
    Nice to meet you.

(This video might be outdated for what I’m gonna say)

3:52 or in my case, the Recoil. ’cause it easily throws my aim off, forcing me to re-aim at my target before firing again. Making the Full-auto feature pointless.

  9. I Komang Kresna on August 21, 2022 at 7:52 pm

so,… what r u complaining bout? they still have those abilities in Planetside 2

  10. Abraham Collins on August 21, 2022 at 7:52 pm

Are slugs in a pump action more powerful than slugs in a semi-auto?

  11. ETapia on August 21, 2022 at 7:52 pm

1080p did not help at all.

  12. alklomion on August 21, 2022 at 7:53 pm

is it rly worth taking slug ammo? I am using thanatos atm with extended mag and its pretty good one.. the spread helps me hit more targets at the same time if not kill them

  13. Chris Bingley on August 21, 2022 at 7:56 pm

I’m currently running high capacity shotguns on my Light Assaults, with extented mags and NV scopes. I only use the scope to check for AP kines before entering a room (IT MAKES THEM GLOW!!!!). The reason for this is purely for the extra kills per magazine. at the sort of range where you’ll be using using a shotgun, I find the pellet spread just doesn’t matter. All of the pellets will be landing on target. And the extra capacity means that I don’t have to worry about about reloading as often.

On my engineer, if I’m playing in a more aggressive role, say, backing up a max in a biolab, then I’ll occasionally run with the tight spread semi-auto shotgun, with extended mags, slugs and (again) the NV scope.

Whilst the pump shotguns may have more kill potential, you need a good frame rate or you’ll struggle. My frame rate is at the point where I can just about get away with using a pump-action, but I seem to do better with the semi-autos.

Oreo cookie or salted caramel for me.

  15. Jare 345 on August 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm

So there not shotguns? Less it kill enemy with 1 shot at close rang then it fails as a shotgun at best it a scattershot weapon

(Pump action what I can tell are shotguns)

  16. Bini Shulman on August 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm

275 muzzle velocity and massive bullet drop isn’t what I call a sniper.

  17. FoXXySausage on August 21, 2022 at 8:00 pm

I love the shotguns with 8 rounds in them, like the sweeper or the haymaker, considering I’m a bit strapped for cash the fact that they are only 250 certs really helps. Also, the spammability is ridiculous.

  18. GunFuMaster on August 21, 2022 at 8:01 pm

The Brawler for the NC is really funny. "Yo dawg, we herd ya like shotguns, so we put a shotgun on your shotgun so you can breach and clear while you breach and clear."

  19. CorazonSierra on August 21, 2022 at 8:03 pm

this video needs an update to address the changes made to the flashlight attachment *now called a Darklight attachment* as well as the introduction of the Barron… the NS *All Faction* variant shotgun… also note that the slug rounds for the heavy pump action shotguns do between 750 – 850 dmg … allowing 1 shot head shots to "fresh" enemies that lack battle armor or are heavy assault up to 25 meters and 1 shot head shots to LA Eng & Inf up to 55 meters…

the Barron slug ammo does approximate dmg of about 350 – 450 dmg and are more accurate and can be used with less recoil as well as a faster fire rate and reload then slug rounds from any other shotgun. *A nerf to its accuracy was introduced in a recent update, but i i have yet to find opportunity to provide a proper description… but it is a noticeable change.

  20. OurMountainBelow on August 21, 2022 at 8:06 pm

I only play NC and TR but I mostly play NC. I havnt noticed some of these weapons at all… I think they ARNT in the game 4 me… I see the mauler the swatted and the Barron but that’s it for shotguns on the NC for me…

  21. Gustavo Camargo on August 21, 2022 at 8:08 pm

Get the haymaker, extended mags, tms 4x scope, slug and light assault: Tree Sniper! (Since infiltrator can’t climb trees)

  22. TheRadrussian1 on August 21, 2022 at 8:09 pm

keylime pie ice cream is the best.

  23. Roger Sings on August 21, 2022 at 8:10 pm

put the barrel up close to enemies, and pull the trigger ??? That’s exactly what shot guns for. Great explanation

  24. Rafeeky on August 21, 2022 at 8:10 pm

My favourite ice cream has got to be mint chock chip.

  25. Sidali Kacimi on August 21, 2022 at 8:10 pm

    What’s your graphique card ?

  26. nicynodle2 on August 21, 2022 at 8:12 pm

Mint choc chip, but it’s has to be choc chip, none of that mint and chocolate sauce shit.

  27. Austin May on August 21, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I hate shotguns. The only way you will ever find me using a shotgun is i would have to rune out of ammo in my carbine, shoot and miss every shot, pull out my pistol, and miss every shot… pull out my knife, and accidentally drop it. then I might use one if i didn’t already commit suicide, or just let the enemy kill me.

  28. Jawbreaker54 on August 21, 2022 at 8:16 pm

Time to come back to the game man

  29. Teknodiktator on August 21, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Were the prices changed only recently? The Haymaker only costs 250, not 1000 he listed.

  30. Count Cocofang on August 21, 2022 at 8:18 pm

From my personal experience Phobos is inferior to Deimos. I don’t care about the wider spread, that one pellet makes all the difference for me. When I played with Phobos I feel like a TON of one-shot kills fail because of the fewer pellets, while Deimos drops them more consistently.

  31. Jacob Pagliarulo on August 21, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    thanks and chocolate fudge brownie

  32. Mark Reintjes on August 21, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    This is outdated isnt it?

  33. Huggs Bunny on August 21, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Still, the extended mag is too useful to let out.

  34. Safi Rouhi on August 21, 2022 at 8:21 pm

    Medics can use battle rifles

  35. draconic33 on August 21, 2022 at 8:22 pm

Wow, seeing these targeting circles is making me upset. I more ore less started getting back into it and the shotgun spread is almost 2x of what it used to be apparently. Did shotties get nerfed into the ground or something?

  36. Drathamus on August 21, 2022 at 8:23 pm

    What can beat Blackjack?

    Jack Black.

  37. Zaarc Baan on August 21, 2022 at 8:24 pm

I thought Slugs on Pump did 800 damage and on regular it was 400-500.
    also..tender coconut.

  38. Amanoob105 on August 21, 2022 at 8:24 pm

Fear The Claw. So long as I remember to aim before I shoot (I have a bad habit of getting a little trigger happy in CQC now and then) stuff infrount of me has a habit of dying. Unless their more than 10-15 or so meters away from me, then I tend to die…a lot.
Definitely one of those guns you ether praise its awesomeness or curse the day you bought it, offen within the space of the same 10-15 minutes.

  39. Mc Whopper on August 21, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Deimos is the best Vanu shotgun hands down.

  40. Formerly Chuck's on August 21, 2022 at 8:26 pm

I picked the blackjack over the uppercut because it has a stock.

  41. Tomas Urban on August 21, 2022 at 8:26 pm

  46. Faxe Nielsen on August 21, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Yes it does, it makes your reticle very small then using slugs.

  47. Trifler on August 21, 2022 at 8:39 pm

Good video but out of date now. All of the ammo counts have changed.

  48. Ben N on August 21, 2022 at 8:39 pm

Do a review on the NC sweeper by itself. Or just do gameplay.

  49. Oogly_ Boogie on August 21, 2022 at 8:40 pm
