Hi I’m a new subscriber. I have a question. The 308 scope will work with the 7.62 x 51 with the Ruger sfar?

  3. Alfonso Rodriguez on March 5, 2023 at 2:13 am

Bought mine in Dec 2020 for $199.00 in a special from PA since the actual price is $279.00. My only complain is that the scope power adjustment ring is super hard to move but a throw lever fixed that. the illumination adjustment is very hard as well but it turned easy using a shooting glove with groves at the finger tips that I bought from LA Police Gear. I mounted it on a Savage 110BVSS in 308 Win with a 26 inch barrel. May buy another in the future. For use in bolt action it is inconvenient. The tube is short and almost impossible to mount on a bolt action without a Picatinny rail which I had to install in my Savage. It is built very solid.

Would this hold up to my 7mm rem mag?

  5. Darion Vacher on March 5, 2023 at 2:20 am

I’m looking to buy the GLx 4-16×50 in the mil dot reticle for my hunting rifle. I use the 2x prism as well, great little optic

  6. Beyond Seclusion on March 5, 2023 at 2:23 am

I was asked about the quality of light transmission on this optic. Sunset was 5:17, I could still make a shot at 5:40 which is about the legal limit. It was cloudy and no sun today so I would suspect it is capable of making it satisfactorily to the legal limit of 30 minutes after sunset.

Can this be used on my .30-06 or my .270

From all the reticles PA makes this is the one that makes more sense, pretty much the same as the Orion Reticle also from PA, they make the Predator Reticle on LPVOs and it get rids of all guessing, pretty impressing.

  13. Survive The Attack! on March 5, 2023 at 2:32 am

The SLx line is coming out in 4-16x very soon! Combined with the HUD DMR recticle, it makes for one heck of a great SPR/DMR optic solution. 🇺🇲

  14. Kurt Glover on March 5, 2023 at 2:33 am

call me stupid but couldn’t a person put this optic on a different caliber rifle and sight it in? Why couldn’t I put this on a 6.5 creedmoor and just make the adjustments? I’m out to shoot deer. Yes, I know that PA makes a scope for the 6.5 cal but I don’t like the reticle

  15. karen collins on March 5, 2023 at 2:33 am

inflation has set in on these, they are now 300 on amazon

  16. JACKSON MARSHALL KRAMER on March 5, 2023 at 2:33 am

I wish they didn’t have target turrets. I wanna piggyback a mini red dot behind the turret, ACOG style.

  17. JACKSON MARSHALL KRAMER on March 5, 2023 at 2:33 am

I’d like to get one but I do not like the target turrets . The illumination knob would be the perfect size for the turrets.

What scope do you recommend for Tikka tx3 270 Winchester?

  20. A74568Z on March 5, 2023 at 2:36 am

Below $200? Went to your link, $279.99.

  21. Thomas Jefferson on March 5, 2023 at 2:36 am

Careful with the tula it has a bimetal jacket meaning steel jacketed with a thin layer of copper. That will wear the barrel.out quicker. If you have a cheap ar go for it. Wolf makes some steel cased range safe thats 100% copper. You have a nice barrel keep that wolf for SHTF or a different gun where the barrel doesnt matter

I stumbled on this Video. I have 2, 3-18 x 50 (one, 308 dmr, being delivered today), the other one is for 5.56, and once i get my reloads dialed in it will show it’s true colors.. currently the 62gr green tips suck. looking at some HP match loads
I am impressed with the animal info you present here.
Especially since the people measurements are not really needed at this time. but when the zombies attack, i guess it will then be needed.
    great video.

Earned my sub! What do you recommend for 7.62×39 AK? Anyone?

  25. Lynn Cotton Dr on March 5, 2023 at 2:41 am

Yup. I have 2 of them. Both on mk12ish builds

  26. TERRY HIGGINBOTHAM on March 5, 2023 at 2:42 am

That scope mount can be had for less than HALF of your quoted price on Amazon or EBay. Lets face it … they are ALL MADE IN CHINA.

  27. Xzavier Cleric on March 5, 2023 at 2:42 am

Great review. Your laugh at the end says it all.

  28. scott2228 on March 5, 2023 at 2:44 am

I’ve got and love this scope. I reached out to PA requesting recommendations regarding the 308/223 V’s the 223. For an 18” 223 Wylde that shoots mostly 77gr they told me to get the 223 only version.

  29. K-PaK on March 5, 2023 at 2:45 am

Where are you seeing this scope for $200?
Also, it’s designed primarily for .308 and some .223 loads. So if your using that scope on an .223 AR , are you limited on the loads that will work with the reticle?

  30. Corey LaChapelle on March 5, 2023 at 2:46 am

    $200?? Or $300ish?

  31. Pete Detects on March 5, 2023 at 2:49 am

You did a wonderful job in the making of the video sir . I can like most purchase a much more expensive scope but never hunt or shoot those distances. Yet I liked this one so much after your review I may get one soon . Thanks for sharing. Just subscribed to your channel. Pete

  32. g3attack on March 5, 2023 at 2:50 am

You putting me in the poor house with all of your great reviews. Just ordered this scope for a PTR91 MSG Rifle. Thanks!

Chinese glass really does poorly at color and low light.

  34. OddBallPerformance on March 5, 2023 at 2:54 am

Greetings from Nebraska! I run the FFP 5.56 ACSS DMR 4-14×44 on my .223wylde 20 inch Ballistic Advantage DMR 1:7 twist Barreled AR-15 on a quick detach Riton Precision 30mm scope mount. Some people say this is too much scope for my rifle, but I disagree. The 14x magnification is wonderful when reaching out at longer distances. Sure it is possible with a lower power, but I can be far more precise with it out at the longer ranges. I have had this scope for a couple of years now and I have zero complaints with it. Incredible value for the money. Even for being made in China, Primary Arms holds them to a good quality standard and specs out better materials than the cheaper versions you often find on Amazon, hence the higher price.

I LOVE the delay before it rings that steel!

  38. yahooman316 on March 5, 2023 at 2:59 am

I have heard several people say that you can use the 308/223reticle with a 6.5 Grendel can you make a video testing that it would be very interesting to see if I could use that for a new rifle

  39. Mike Hog A Nator on March 5, 2023 at 3:00 am

Update- Well my 4-14 Broke. Top turret won’t adjust & I can’t zero it or it won’t hold zero. I’ve contacted PA & I’m sure they’ll fix it.
I’ve got the $244, 4-14×44 ACSS Orion & it’s definitely heavy! (So is the 1-6)
I traded it with PA because my outer coating was coming off of my 1-6.
I love it but it doesn’t have a lighted reticle, which I need for low light hog hunting on my Ranch. I have it on my 300bo & I’m thinking of swapping it out with my 16" 223 Wylde Upper which has the Romeo5 on it.

  43. borriq01 on March 5, 2023 at 3:03 am

Thank you I’ve had this scope for over a year and this video is super helpful . 👍🏻

  44. PewPewkachew on March 5, 2023 at 3:04 am

I bought one and it was sent with a canted reticle. No problem I’ll just send it back, they sent me another one with a canted reticle. It has been a 6 week process and have yet to be able to use it. You do get what you pay for in terms of quality and attention to QC.

  45. Without Further Ado on March 5, 2023 at 3:05 am

Where’d you buy one under $200?

  46. hugtango on March 5, 2023 at 3:06 am

superb system…. this is such a real world solution. when it starts running all over the place no need to touch the turrets "just" pick the right distance on the reticle

  47. Brody Burleson on March 5, 2023 at 3:07 am

Do they make one for a 6.5 creedmoor?

  48. Alexander on March 5, 2023 at 3:09 am

Thanks for the content and your effort for putting this together. I have a question; if I’m using .308 ammo 168 gr for example can I assume every 1 mil marking is about equal to 100 yard increment…. 1,2,3 etc. I have the acss R GRID by the way. Thanks.
