Quick review and unboxing of Hi-Point Carbine 995TS 9mm rifle. Could be best budget gun out there??

This is a quick overview of Hi-Point’s 995TS 9mm carbine rifle. The firearm has an all-weather, polymer skeletonized stock with an internal recoil buffer, multiple Weaver-style rails, a sling, swivels, and scope base. It has a quick on/off thumb safety, grip-mounted clip release, last round lock open feature, and fully adjustable sights (post front, peep rear). The 995TS carbine has a 16.5″ barrel for an OAL of 31″. Hi-Point produces affordable, American-made firearms featuring 100% American parts and assembly. Hi-Point carbines are +P rated and accept all factory ammunition. This model features FDE American Flag finish on the stock with black metal finish and includes a 10-round magazine. Possibly one of the best budget rifle on the market for the money.

A quick overview of unboxing the SCCY CPX-4 firearm as seen on BrunswickFirearms.com. The CPX-4 is designed for concealed carry but large enough to get a good firm grip. The receiver is made from 7075 T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy. The Zytel polymer frame features an integral recoil cushion on the backstrap. The slide is machined from stainless steel with a Zytel overmolded polymer extension for ease of operation. This DAO has an internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge. It has a smooth, consistent 9-pound trigger pull. It comes with two 10-round magazines with finger extensions bases installed and two flat magazine bases.

We are an elderly couple with worn shoulders and tight wallets. The 995 is inexpensive, not the easiest to clean, ugly, not exactly a precision rifle, but for us it is a reliable, inexpensive to own and operate valuable asset.

The takedown tool is in the box with with the trigger lock clamshell prolly.
It has the hex slot to attach/remove the charging handle, the pinhead key for the trigger lock and the takedown swivel clamps.
I love the Carbines, they are the true gems of their line-up.
    My favorite is the 4595ts.
At it’s working distances, there is nothing in the safe more capable, more accurate, or more fun.
Right next to the common use 223/556/x39/308 modern muskets.
I will always have at least a couple "useful IS as useful DOES" Hi-Point’s in my collection.
