Dude, you’re not supposed to touch the gun with your hands after de-greasing it, because YOUR HANDS ARE OILY!

Nice. I miss my rifle. I had a 22 Ruger. I gave it to my son when I moved to Fl. Nice shooting rifle. Peace

Also, I would have removed the cylinder to get coverage of the entire cylinder. Otherwise, there will be part of the cylinder that did not get the bluing. Just saying.

  7. HircineHuntsman on March 5, 2023 at 2:51 am

Why did you not just remove the cylinder to blue it lol? It literally drops out, nice job either way.

My grandmother gave me my grandpa , 32 H&R over 50 years ago I would like to trade it for a Derringer if anyone interested I still have the same 4 shells that was in it.

  31. JBHickok on March 5, 2023 at 3:24 am

Have same pistol. Stripped it and sprayed with a product similar to Duracoat. Looks better than the bluing. Good job though. Another rescue.

  32. scb0421 on March 5, 2023 at 3:27 am

four pins and one screw and it would have been completely disassembled. I think that would have made a big difference in getting a uniform cover.

  33. TheSwaglord on March 5, 2023 at 3:28 am

Man I’m having a lot of trouble reassembling my H&R Model 686 .22 Cal… I can’t seem to attach the sear spring to the sear, or fit anything together much

  34. J R Deckard on March 5, 2023 at 3:29 am

Bluing pitted steel, essentially a waste of time.

  35. 🐟 MR-FLIP 🐟 on March 5, 2023 at 3:29 am

    Very nice 👊😎

  36. Thomas E. Vaughan on March 5, 2023 at 3:30 am

Very good video. I would have had on a pair of robber gloves just for protection from the bluing. otherwise, everything worked out great.

  37. Wes Lovelace on March 5, 2023 at 3:32 am
