I love everything Mossberg makes, but here’s my problem with the Patriot Revere: It’s $400 more expensive than their Synthetic stocked Patriot, but the only thing you’re getting for that extra $400 is a prettier cut of wood for the stock. I wouldn’t be able too justify buying a Revere over any other Patriot.

It’s the best Mossberg rifle yet. But they should have used a steel trigger guard. At least stamped steel.

This is great to know. The cheap action, and synthetic stocks seem like a race to the bottom.

This video is proof that you don’t need a 1 or 2k rifle to get the job done. My Ruger all weather 30-06 does everything I need it to on the planet from hunting to target competitions all for 450 bucks.

I figured out how to stack one magazine on top of the other. In my 243 I get 11 rounds.

Can you share your thoughts on the difference between this Revere and the Patriot?
