Still love my rommy SAR 1. No American made receiver or barrel.

  5. Slick Ceretto on December 29, 2022 at 12:56 am

Any word on the Romy’s using Russian barrels? I’ve got a Romy-G with the infamous "Y" stamped barrel.

I just acquired a Romy G built from a parts kit on a US made receiver. I was really bummed when I noticed it was missing the side rail on the receiver…. but now i see yours is that way too so I don’t quite feel so bad

The Romy G -is- was like the FAL of x39 guns in most of the world apart from US and western Europe. My encounters with it have been 0 until it shone through the garbage on GB, "Freshly built matching serials + US parts 922r compliant" and I’m like "this may be my last chance ever to have that dong." You just know how it goes.

most common AK’s but only with a ”opposable thumb” which can kill ”literally”

Hey Zeke, I’m building a mod 63 AKM and i want to put the original markings on the receiver. what markings would be on a Russian military issue? Thanks man love the content!

Purchased a Romy G at a gun show with a US receiver, ITM Arms. Heard they’re never bad to throw in an AK but not the first choice.
