Rossi .243 Winchester.

Rossi .243 Winchester.

The Rossi Trifecta is a great, economical way to be able to hunt nearly all game with just a switch of the barrel.

Single shot guns and rifles like these are not new. Stevens, Savage, H&R, NEF, and others have and still do make them. They all follow a pattern but not closely enough to interchange parts. The companies all stop making them eventually. Probably because the profit margin is so low and competition so stiff. But there always seems to be one brand at least in the new market plus used of course. The have to be the most basic of weapons. And affordable.

Rossi should pay you for that video! 243 is a great design, anyone can handle the recoil, and it will easily kill any thing east of the Mississippi.

This was actually the very first rifle that I ever purchased with a 22 Long rifle barrel and both the 20 gauge and 243 Winchester barrels that you have

My first centerfire rifle was a .243 in a Rem 700 ADL. It cost a whopping $129.95. I saved the money from working part time as a janitor two nights a week, a paper route, cutting grass & picking up bottles for the refund. I put a Lyman 48 receiver sight on it and it was dead on the money. I had to sell it due to finances. I tried to buy it back from the guy I sold it to and he sold it to someone else. I got another in a Rem 600 & the kids used to take it to NC with their friends deer hunting. They said that rifle was blessed, and what a mess it made with those Winchester ballistic silvertips. That’s a really nice setup there Joanie. Reminds me of a shotgun I had when I was a kid as it had the backwards safety too. My cz had it too.

The 243 is a great round. If I could only have 1 caliber, it would be that one!! It was also the first ever center fire rifle I owned. A Browning A Bolt Medallion. I’ve still got it aswell. Great video Joanie. Hope your feeling much better now.
