i had my gun sent back to rossi in florida for a replacement fireing pen and they found out my forcing cone wasnt to specs.. so they reamed to the exact 11* degree angle and it shots right but groups are 3" and dead on using a 145 to 170 grain bullet.at 25 yards double action even with those skimpy sights, you can see about 4 video’s i made on this revolver.

Nice little gun! I love it also.

  3. filoIII on November 23, 2022 at 10:00 pm

You’ll get better out of a .38.  Can’t blame the gun for the inaccuracy.  It’s a .357 pocket rocket!

Is this model the same frame size as the Sw J frame, or the Taurus 85?

  5. Jaquan richardson on November 23, 2022 at 10:03 pm

  6. Eric Martin on November 23, 2022 at 10:04 pm

I just bought one and I love it I am not a big guy and I shoot it no problem it is very accurate up to 25 30 ft no problem it’s all in the shooter you need a good shooter to make a gun work good the gun shoots amazing I love mine

Some of these people have never shot a gun in their life and are complaining about a gun they know nothing about. Get a life guys or buy yourself a gun. Either one will do. But if you don’t know what your talking about, then just shut up and watch the Disney Channel.

  8. The Cook Family Homestead on November 23, 2022 at 10:15 pm

It would be a little bulky to put in your pocket, plus it is a little heavy. But for a large caliber handgun, it is concealable.

  9. S. Vernon on November 23, 2022 at 10:15 pm

It’s not the gun , it’s the ability to shoot the gun. Takes lots of practice with a 2 inch barrel and heavy double action trigger.

Thanks, I realized the volume issue after I downloaded it and watched it. My bad!

I think (my opinion, please, don’t fight me!!): If you go into the forest, you will not put a suit and tie!
    For guns is the same:
    1. If you want to scare your nasty neighbor: Show the S & W 500
    2. If you want to impress customers Walmart when you go shopping: you need an S & W500 with a shoulder hoslter!
    3. For your protection at home: a Glock 22 C (on the muzzle compensator) to use the family (wife less strong arms for the recoil)
    4. For your CCW rossi 357mag a 2 "belt and holster as back up: S & W Bodyguard (with red laser) … just in case (if the barrel rossi, does not turn: I ear for the EAA – made in Germany !!)
    5. In case, WW3 a AR15 (5.56 light ammo, you can bring a lot) and why not a shotgun DP12!
You will get a good looking…

So Rossi is actually made by Taurus?  I’ll have to read up on that.  Interesting.  By the way, how does it hold up with the plus P ammo?

  13. Dickey D. on November 23, 2022 at 10:25 pm

This is my carry piece for yard work. 3 CCI shotshells and 3 .38 +P hollow points. It is deadly accurate and has a sweet single action trigger.

  14. JC Crabtree on November 23, 2022 at 10:25 pm

I have the same gun in blued and i shoot 357mag loads out of it almost every time i take it out and I’ve never had a problem with it. It was made in 1999 so that is 17 years of shooting magnum loads. Don’t be afraid to shoot them…….

You should post a video on how to clean the gun thanx

  21. Shichi Dan on November 23, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Someone is full of it here:

I have owned mine for over 15 years now. Never a problem! Specifically, with respect to accuracy, I am able to shoot within a two-inch group at slightly over 50 feet…easily. For an up close and personal weapon, I would be happy with it at my side. If I had to shoot in self-defense at a distance of 30 to 60 feet I may not be the happiest man in the world, but I’m going home at the end of business. Of course many would disagree with my assessment of this gun’s were, but that is their privilege. I think the gun is awesome! Mine is all black… and that makes it beautiful.

Absolutely no plans on selling it, or even letting someone borrow it.

junk, is it broken yet? i had one that broke 9 rounds in. i still have the box of ammo

  23. NordicSkunk on November 23, 2022 at 10:45 pm

I carry a rossi 461, great vid, last half volume is very low.

  24. Steven Ford on November 23, 2022 at 10:46 pm

These firearms are not great, but, they are very decent for plinking. Accuracy on this weapon is ALL ABOUT TRIGGER CONTROL. The weapon shoots straight. The trick is keeping the weapon sighted will pulling that damned heavy and rough trigger in double action. I have a blued version of this weapon. It is very adequate, however, not so desirable as a primary defense weapon. Not so much fun to shoot either.

  25. Viper19 on November 23, 2022 at 10:48 pm

Good gun. Consistent accuracy for me
The problem? They’re all on recall.
Good luck dealing with Braztech customer service.
