What’s at the 1:30 second mark. Looks like powder or water coming out of the barrel?

  2. GH on November 6, 2021 at 9:28 pm

Bought the lever version of this and should be picking it up tomorrow. I had initially seen the Gallery pump action at a LGS first, and it immediately peaked my interests. I love the looks and more modern take on these polymer Rossi’s. Looking forward to you sharing your plans for this gun! Thanks for the vids!

I picked up one of these in December. It is such a fun gun to shoot, I’ve taken it out almost every weekend.

  4. Scott Goodvin on November 6, 2021 at 9:30 pm

I picked one up at a gun show new. Before I could shoot it the front sight fell off…

  5. Jayden Duquette on November 6, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Should do the rossi semi auto with the pro mag folding stock. Same design as the 702 plinkster

    very beautiful weapon👏👏👏

I unfortunately had an issue with mine right out of the box. I have to press the action release lever EVERY time. I saw another video where the guy had the same issue for the first 40-50 rounds when he first got it, and then the problem went away. I’m about 100 rds in, and I still have to press the action release after every round. Guess I’m going to have to send it in to Rossi.

One thing I don’t like about it: the trigger guard. Yeah it’s plastic, but the worst part is the screw channel at the rear. They way I normally hold it I support the weight of the gun on my middle finger, right behind the trigger guard and it feel like it could cut my finger if I’m not careful. I think I’ll make a plug out of nylon rod or file the edges down to smooth them out. Also, mine is brand new and the action is pretty stiff. I’ll run the action 1000 times on new guns, and I’ve only done this one 80 times so far.

Thanks for the review which lead to my wife purchasing this rifle. She wanted it because it was a pump action. The price was right for the gun at $270. Fun little plinker.

This rifle must be dead nuts on cause he isn’t worried about a flier getting away from him and hitting his truck

I wonder what they did to your gun to make it work? Because mine is not only a piece of garbage but its dangerous. It will not load the round into the chamber all the way but will still let the hammer down causing the firing pin to penetrate the back of the round blowing brass and powder back into my face.

    Não faz barulho???

  19. guitarfan on November 6, 2021 at 9:46 pm

Do you always shoot towards your truck?…..It is a Ford.

  20. Francis Kull on November 6, 2021 at 9:46 pm

I’m a model 572 Remington it looks a lot better than that particular rifle

  21. Bill Elston on November 6, 2021 at 9:47 pm

This is a great rifle, if you have a chance to get one, I would get it… I did!

  22. Gilbert Jaramillo on November 6, 2021 at 9:49 pm

    Shoot that Ford 😂

  23. Fred Turple on November 6, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Does this gun only have one place for a sling?

  24. michael dale on November 6, 2021 at 9:50 pm

an email i got from Rossi said that using 22 shorts will void my warranty

  25. Pablo Anguiano on November 6, 2021 at 9:52 pm

Just bought one. Seems I have to press the “pump release” after every shot or it won’t let me feed the next round (pump action stuck in forward position until I press release). Any help from anyone will be much appreciated.

  26. JM SNIPER BSB on November 6, 2021 at 9:54 pm

    show demais like garantido

  27. M Carpenter on November 6, 2021 at 9:57 pm

The one I have seems “glitchy” with the action release control button. Seems to want to hang up and not press in correctly and creates a dead stop while trying to quick shoot. Any advise?

  28. Scott hillbilly Morgan on November 6, 2021 at 9:57 pm

Thanks for showing. Boomstick 779 did his review and he likes it also. Think I might try one

overall do feel like it’s a toy or rugged and reliable seeing different options

  31. Odee Dillon on November 6, 2021 at 10:03 pm

The Carnival was originally based off the 1800s Colt .45 Lightning. Then cam the .22 at Carnivals. Carney’s would bend the front sight to throw off the shooters aim. This trick only worked one shot for me, every time I went to the shooting gallery. Made a lot of kids happy with stuffed Teddy 🧸. Lot of Carney’s mad as hell that I could clean out their stock so fast. 😂

Brought one yesterday, for the nostalgia, and was elated how accurate it is straight out the box. Manual does not mention ammo types, and Sales agent did not know it could take Short & Long 22 rounds.

  34. mbjclives on November 6, 2021 at 10:08 pm

What am I not understanding? After loading a magazine,, I have to pump twice to load a round?

  35. greatnortoni on November 6, 2021 at 10:09 pm

I bought one back in November, had an issue, sent it in in December, they said they were going to replace it – still waiting!!!!

  36. raymond michael ocampo on November 6, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Almost got this gun a few weeks ago but picked up the lever action one. Which is a ton of fun.

  43. K TOWN Enduro on November 6, 2021 at 10:16 pm

    Great review!

  46. Timothy Rees on November 6, 2021 at 10:21 pm

I was super excited to get mine.. turned out to be a big disappointment

  47. N Outdoors on November 6, 2021 at 10:21 pm

I like the idea of a pump action, over a lever action. Seems quicker because you don’t have to break your grip.

  50. Yogi Bait on November 6, 2021 at 10:25 pm

I decided NOT to get this gun because it ONLY shoots 22LR and not 22L and 22S like the Winchester 62 does. How did the shorts function? And is the barrel marked 22LR, L, S or only 22LR? According to Rossi, it’s for 22LR only and not for Longs or Shorts because of the carrier design. I’m confused. Please help.
