When your voice is close to the microphone, you sound like a bit like Jim Scouttens! Awesome video
Nice. My 8" .44 revolver drops like a stone past 50yards. 225 gr Hornaday seem to help.
Just noticed the CB’s shirt. 👍
This Jarhead says, Thank you for your Service. Semper Fi
Nice looking rifle! My Rossi 92 is a stainless carbine in .357 magnum. The finish was simply stain, so I sanded it down so the edges were flush with the receiver, round of the top of the stock, filed the butt plate flush with the stock, and finally applied many coats of Tru Oil. I did install some ghost ring sights, and that made shooting more accurate for me. Thanks for Sharing…👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love my stainless R-92 16.5" barrel. Kicks fairly solidly and leaves a nice bruise.
Love my R92 44 mag, but just pray you never need customer service. It is non-existent. The brass bead on my front sight fell off after 20 rounds, and Rossi never returned my calls.
Nice, Rossi makes good affordable firearms, I used to sell quite a few of their pump action 22 rifles in that they were excellent youth rides. I’m a big fan of the lever action rifle as long as it’s in the traditional calibers. My first deer rifle was a beautiful Marlin 336 LTS which I had engraved with deer woodland pattern nice walnut furniture and sixteen inch barrel, it meant slot to me as I really worked hard to buy it, however it was lost in a house fire and a complete loss. So a month ago I bought a new Henry 45 LC with case hardened receiver and octagon barrel and I’m really happy with it as well. Nothing will replace the guns we lost that day, but we move on and retain the enjoyment of the firearms lifestyle.
Beautiful rifle rider!I loved my Henry .44 magnum.shot a nice buck with it about 6 years ago
Thank you for the video.
You should consider chronographing the loads you shoot. For example, I would have liked to know how fast this Federal 240 gr. load comes out of a 20-inch barrel. Nevertheless, I enjoy and rate your videos highly.
Nice, that Rossi 44 rocks your metal targets. I like those sights. I haven’t seen them in years. Is that a copy of a Winchester?
Have you looked into the Rossi 92/357? I am thinking it would be a bit more mild to shoot. BTW were you in Nam in 65-66 building the air field I was a gunner in a HU-1 L

Nice lever gun. I love the lever guns in hand gun calibers. Thanks for the video.
Like the new rifle. Gonna be nice to see future trips to the range. Take care
Really like the 16" version in stainless steel…😁
Such a beautiful lever action rifle.
Just picked up one of these. Nice video!
Interesting carbine, I have a Browning B-92 .44 Magnum and it’s a good one for brush hunting deer and wild boar, plus not a bad house gun with .44 Special. Excellent review as per usual, good general purpose weapon for many applications, once SIGHT raised.
Its a shame that they put a safety on the rifle. I bought my R92 in 44mag. probably 25 years ago and it doesnt have one. Mine shoots dead nutz for about 5 or 6 shots and then I start getting flyers. After watching some VCR tape (remember that stuff?) of me shooting we noticed a guy started to develop a flinch after about 5 shots! They are great rifles in every way.
I purchased a Rossi/CBC R92 stainless .44 mag with a 16-inch barrel. The barrel slugs at 0.433. .44 Mag rifle barrels should slug at 0.431 per SAAMI spec. Have you tried to slug your barrel? Have you tried to shoot lead bullets and did you get leading? Just curious.
Good video !
Nice lever gun
