Just bought a rs22 havnt shot it yet but had a Mossberg 702 for years over 2 k rounds through it no issue except with pro mag magazines and some cheap bulk ammo but lots and lots of fried rabbit and rabbit stew with that 22

Not gonna lie haven’t cleaned the inside of my gun and there’s been at least 1000 rounds through it still no jam but definitely giving it a good clean before next shooting day

I love My Rossi RS22 I’ve had it for almost 4 years. You can get an improved Recoil spring and a trigger kit from MCARBO. It improves reliability and lightens the trigger pull, it was 5lbs from the factory. The kit put my trigger pull at 3.5lbs. It’s not hard to do just takes a little time and patience. I also have two 25 round mags both have run flawlessly for thousands of rounds. I also have the folding stock. I absolutely love it it’s simple to install, gives me a better lenght of pull and you can shoot the rifle in the folded position. I added a NCSTAR dovetail mount pic rail with split High rise scope mounts, so I can use both the scope and factory Iron sights. Best part is for the price of the gun and all the accessories I’m basically at stock Ruger 10/22 price range. Great video guys

The top grove is a dovetail so use dovetail scope mounts for a scope. You can pick up a braska 3×9 for around $40 at Walmart, but I think you will still need to get the dovetail mounts. I use the braska and it works great. P.S. I have had my rifle for 4 years now and love it.

I have Three 25 round Mossberg Magazines, which work great in my RS 22 and I also purchased the "Pro Mag" Folding Stock which cost me $70 and was very easy to Install! I find that the pistol grip works better for me and the accuracy is just as good with my Folding Stock! I never had any Issues with these 25 round magazines and they are very easy to load with the loader that comes with each magazine! I use only high quality, copper clad ammo and No Lead Ammo! I now have much more fun at my LGR, here in Sunny Florida, the Gun Friendly State! COME ON DOWN!

Enjoyed your video. I just got an RS22 for $116 plus tax. The RS22 is the same as a Mossberg 702 Plinkster, so the magazines, stock and other parts are interchangable. As for the folding stock, it is made by ATI. I have one on my Savage 64 and have enjoyed it, you can also store a spare 10 round magazine in the pistol grip. I also have a Mossberg 715T, which is a Plinkster with AR furniture. I have the 25 round magazines for it and have found them to be somewhat hard to fully load. I do enjoy shooting my RS and my Savage, so I will be looking forward to your Savage review.

I have the foldable stock. It was very easy to change out and I’ve never had any issues with its performance. The folding feature does lock tightly but once you get to know your gun you know just how much pressure is needed to pull it out of the folded position.

  13. Michigun Santa on April 25, 2023 at 4:41 am

I picked up one with a threaded barrel cheap ($120) for my suppressor, cheaper than buying a threaded barrel for my 10-22.

Get yourself a binary trigger for the 22. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, then nothing will! Ty guys
