The bolt slapping the back of the receiver is louder than the rounds coming out.

  2. MarvinTheMartian on March 14, 2023 at 2:44 am

    What’s the co$t ?

  3. Tom Ubl on March 14, 2023 at 2:45 am

Does the silencer barrel when broken down snap into the underneath of the butt stock as the standard barrel? if not, does it still fit in the small tote bag?

  4. william saldanah on March 14, 2023 at 2:49 am

Excellent video, buying mine tomorrow!! You reminded me to pick up some SD cards😅😅

I like the idea of having a suppressor but I think I if am going to get a stamp might as well get the most versatile as I can. I think a can would be for me.

  6. Matt Wolfam on March 14, 2023 at 2:51 am

    Awesome

  7. It's not my fault your brain doesn't work on March 14, 2023 at 2:51 am

Can you turn the gas off? Wondering just how silent it can be if the rifle doesnt cycle

  8. John Greco on March 14, 2023 at 2:52 am

do you recall the scope you utilized during the shooting of this video? Thanks @22plinkster

CCi Standard Velocity really a subsonic round (not sure why CCi doesn’t advertise such) at 1070fps.
Anything under 1100 fps (depending on atmospheric conditions and elevation) is subsonic.

Listen to the perceived sound of the CCi SV (1070fps) shot into the ground (0:54) and the CCi 22 Suppressor (970 fps) shot into the ground (2:57): to my ears I can’t tell much, if any, difference.

I suggest that for most applications a shooter is better serverd with the CCi SV (which, to repeat, *is* subsonic) than the almost 2x expensive CCi Suppressor round.

  13. brad h on March 14, 2023 at 2:56 am

    Is that Hickok’s range?

  14. TVMAN54 on March 14, 2023 at 2:57 am

Hello Mr. 22 Plinkster from Las Vegas. In researching the SR-ISB, it can also be used with the takedown Ruger 22 Charger 🙀👏. Add in a Franklin Armory binary trigger and just Wow 🤩. I would make one suggestion to make all 10/22’s and Chargers quieter without using a suppressor. Replace your factory buffer pin with a nylon one. It will quiet the clang clang of the action and save your bolt some wear and tear. Can you or someone tell me how I get my tax stamp for the SR-ISB? I see my Christmas present in this video 😉

Hickok45 lives on the other side of your hill.

  16. Ez E on March 14, 2023 at 3:00 am

    Dang now I want a 10/22 takedown!
Does the integral suppressor take high hyper velocity ammo down to subsonic velocity?

Are these things legal without a Federal Suppressor Permit ?

    AK-U-RATE NOT “A CRIT”! Accurate!!!
    Love your channel.

  20. Durmomo0 on March 14, 2023 at 3:05 am

Would this make a good first gun?

  21. Camouflage Peacock on March 14, 2023 at 3:06 am

YEAH, the card was full. OR! The stock barrel was better.

  22. G star on March 14, 2023 at 3:06 am

Can’t have anything fun like that in Australia, even being a law abiding, criminal checked adult living on a farm…can’t have a silenced gun to quietly get rid of rabbits..☹️

  23. Cris Lee on March 14, 2023 at 3:07 am

Does it come in 22 mag ?

  24. D4RK-WYV3RN on March 14, 2023 at 3:09 am

You have to be using sub sonics?

  25. Derek Monson on March 14, 2023 at 3:10 am

Just got one. What kind of ammo are you shooting in the first set of shots? Mine seems pretty loud.

  26. The Barking Mouse on March 14, 2023 at 3:10 am

Dave I have something you might be interested in shooting. I got a desert Tech 22 chassis and managed to fit my Ruger ISB into it. That did require some alteration of the chassis

  27. Adrian V. on March 14, 2023 at 3:11 am

at first i thought the sound of the bolt group coming back was the gun firing but, no the gunshot itself was quieter

  28. Charles Benoit on March 14, 2023 at 3:11 am

This is why I hate Canadian rules. I’d buy one in a second. Life sucks sometimes. Drool

  29. Ernie Walden on March 14, 2023 at 3:12 am

When i baught my 10 22 i was wanting a takedown but couldnt find one anywhere. So i just baught a 10/22. But i did find a ruger pc carbine takedown its just like the 10 22 but its chambered in 9mm and takes glock magazines. Perfect combo for a bugout bag.

  30. MrSlamPigging on March 14, 2023 at 3:16 am

Wonder if this is legal in Connecticut

  31. C Minor on March 14, 2023 at 3:18 am

Last 2 guns were Ruger and a silent SR. Really like what they are doing.

  32. BLUiSAVAGE on March 14, 2023 at 3:19 am

Slap that on a Charger next 😉

  33. red_limey_ on March 14, 2023 at 3:20 am

My god it sounds like a bb gun. INSANE!

  34. L M on March 14, 2023 at 3:20 am

Torquing the rifle wouldnt really be an issue if you just tighten the barrel lug properly. I dont hear people talking about that because it really effects accuracy

  35. Yoda Master on March 14, 2023 at 3:20 am

2:58 first round and 7:09 next

  36. Layla on March 14, 2023 at 3:23 am

Haha. I’m suspicious that your "memory card" was "full" at the exact time you needed it. I’m calling BS on the test results.

  37. dilfbaG on March 14, 2023 at 3:25 am

    🤘😁🤘

  38. Derrick Duncanson on March 14, 2023 at 3:26 am

You sucked for not showing the shots, 10/22 suppressor shots.

  39. Jacob on March 14, 2023 at 3:29 am

It would be cool if Ruger made a bolt action that would fit that. Seems it would be real quiet.

  44. Guyle on March 14, 2023 at 3:35 am

I just saw this today on an instagram post. I wonder why. It looks good tho

  45. KoopaKing5 on March 14, 2023 at 3:35 am
