Without a doubt the best gun videos to watch with so much education about the fire arms you are shooting 357 have got to be the best handgun Love the new Rugers built on the old styles

  4. MrZbignevus on November 2, 2021 at 5:40 pm

So 9mm and 357 can be shot through the same revolver barrel? 9mm and 357 don’t fit the same drum but they do fit the same barrel? Sorry for noob question but how is that?

Rainy days are good for binge watching Hickok45 videos.

Another idea for ‘adjusting’ the sighting on a fixed sight gun- Use white out to paint a strip across the front sight to more clearly indicate your point of aim with regularly used ammo type to improve point of aim on target for a specific yardage range. The gun itself is not altered and at least for my eyes that white stripe is more easily picked up by my eyes.

What’s the difference between the Vaquero and the Blackhawk?

  8. Joseph Florio on November 2, 2021 at 5:41 pm

I have a couple of .45 SAA made by Pietta, a 5 1/2 " and a 7 1/2 " model EL Malo 2. They are quite nice to shoot and look at. They have an octagon barrel and engraved wooden army grips that are a bit longer and comfortable to hold. You have large hands, you might want to give them a shot. Sometimes Bud’s has them, Cimarron imports them and usually has them. GOOD LUCK.

I want to see a ruger bearcat in 22 Magnum with both style grips regular and birdshead

  10. Kenneth Quesenberry on November 2, 2021 at 5:42 pm

Ages ago, I had a Ruger Blackhawk convertible. In theory, it’s a good idea but in practice, it’s just one more thing to make up your mind about. I was reloading at the time and .38 special was what I did most of my shooting with. But I guess it’s a good idea if you have a lifetime supply of 9mm and .38/.358 reloading components are scarce.
I also had a S&W Model 457 revolver, I think it was, in 9mm, which also did not require clips. Frankly, the

Good thoughts on colts but if I own one I am gonna shoot it . It should outlast me no reason to save it.

  12. Bob Dabull on November 2, 2021 at 5:42 pm

Growing up my dad had a Blackhawk with the 357/9mm. Loved shooting the 357 but the 9 with the second cylinder fit the rounds great but they were sloppy thru the barrel and we key holed and thru so many wild rounds we never ended up shooting 9s after a few trips to the range. Love you Hickok family

  13. juraj okasa on November 2, 2021 at 5:43 pm

id imagine shooting 9mm NATO in it its mostly considered +P Luger ammo

  14. J.W. KirK on November 2, 2021 at 5:44 pm

Could you shout 380 also with this gun?

  15. MrManic52001 on November 2, 2021 at 5:44 pm

You never mention a floating firing pin…… like most clones have. Safe to carry 6

  16. Randall Hamon on November 2, 2021 at 5:48 pm

Yeh…mine was a bigger frame Vaquero…..it was heavy.

  17. John Sulsenti on November 2, 2021 at 5:48 pm

Most times they carried their burial money in #6. I’d like a Ruger Vaquero in .44 mag. That would be a nice companion for my Marlin 1894.

  18. Mark Mcelheney on November 2, 2021 at 5:50 pm

That Was The Very First Pistol, I Bought Legal On My 21st BD. I Loved The 357/ 38 Special. The 9mm. Not So Much. The ACP Rounds Of The 9mm Swell And Got Stuck In The Cylinder. I Hated It So Much, That Somehow Or Another It Wound Up In The Trash. Good Riddens! One Of The Best Magnums, I Ever Owned. Accurate, And Worked Everytime. Was Not Fussy With Ammo Quality.

  19. Edinelson Ramirez on November 2, 2021 at 5:51 pm

    Vaquero means cowboy

  20. Lawrence Klein on November 2, 2021 at 5:52 pm

  22. SWAMPHUNTER644 on November 2, 2021 at 5:53 pm

Will the 9mm cylinder also shoot 380s? Congrats to TN for passing constitutional carry! 2021

  23. Bill Baker on November 2, 2021 at 5:55 pm

I personally think 9mm is the best round ever. easy and cheap to reload and very powerful and widely available even in ammo shortages.

  24. Donnie Kennz on November 2, 2021 at 5:55 pm

I love the country song in the end lol. amazing videos as always thanks guys

  31. Randall Hamon on November 2, 2021 at 6:03 pm

    I had a Ruger Vaquero in 45LC

  32. Toolman on November 2, 2021 at 6:06 pm

Would love to have one, but these are pretty pricey these days. For the price, I think you can get a S&W 686-6 like I purchased a year or two ago.

How much is a Ruger Black Hawk 30 carbine worth? And how much is a Ruger Black Hawk 357/9mm worth? Thank you.

  36. Lee T. Walker on November 2, 2021 at 6:17 pm

    TRANSFER BAR!

Colt and SAA clone manufacturers, take note!

  37. jeddyhi on November 2, 2021 at 6:17 pm

I’d rather just put .38s in it than switch out to 9mm

  38. SixSentSoldiers on November 2, 2021 at 6:25 pm

Busy making guns. Hahahahaha. Busy not making guns more like it.

  39. SixSentSoldiers on November 2, 2021 at 6:27 pm

Ruger used to be great firearms at great price. Well, price has gone nuts. Bet a new CEO came in and is filling his own bank account.

  40. John Cooper on November 2, 2021 at 6:27 pm

  45. warsword on November 2, 2021 at 6:33 pm

Can you tell me where I can get a holster like that for my ruger single six ?

  46. Spencer cumm on November 2, 2021 at 6:33 pm

    the ultimate cowboy gun

  47. john blood on November 2, 2021 at 6:33 pm

You can get with ruger and they will time a 9mm cylinder to your gun . Have to send it to them with a little over 100 dollars. The ones made in the 70’s had three different cylinders a,b,c that you cold match to your gun.i had one of those for a while.

  48. Tom Allen on November 2, 2021 at 6:33 pm

I think the distributors are the ones to determine what the markets are demanding and they ask the manufacturers to produce what they feel they can sell.

  49. Xavier Corona on November 2, 2021 at 6:36 pm

Do they offer that conversion with the gp100

  50. tom rubino on November 2, 2021 at 6:36 pm

A 9 mm and a 380 require moonclips how is it that you do not us them . Is the cylinder tapered to handle these rounds ….Thank you Tom ….
