Stop calling it a weapon and talking about bashing people with the buttstock.
Civilians who are legal gun owners dont do that and we hunt game for our families or shoot targets at the range for sport.

Hell yeah dude great video review short, simple, sweet with a little touch of tactical badassery.
Would be cool if you took some footage of firing the rifle at the range.
    Awesome!

  12. Marcus Smith on October 19, 2022 at 9:17 pm

To break in a bolt do you actually have to fire 300 rds or just pull the bolt back and forth 300 times? Dumb question but im just curious.

  13. DirtyWaterzOso on October 19, 2022 at 9:20 pm

    I’m considering getting this one

  14. Eric McMahan on October 19, 2022 at 9:22 pm

Savage rifles are all very accurate for a number of reasons including but not limited to button rifling and a floating bolt head. FYI, the catch on opening is the action cocking, better that than on closing when you’re trying to get back on target. They are the best bang for the buck out there.

Definitely thinking about this one 💪💯💯

  28. Kenneth Hinson on October 19, 2022 at 9:36 pm

Say that rifle has a kidex stock and the two screws that came loose where you get to the trigger assembly made the barrel come loose .. dang

  29. Brian Bixby on October 19, 2022 at 9:37 pm

I just purchased 2 of these at academy sports for $275 each after a $75 rebate on each. I have not fired them yet but for the price I figured I couldn’t go wrong. I enjoyed the video and can’t wait to break mine in

  30. Tmask M on October 19, 2022 at 9:38 pm

How did you mount the bipod did you have to add a Weaver rail or were you able to mount it right to the sling stud?

    $$$?,

  38. Marvin R on October 19, 2022 at 9:47 pm

Good video! I found out that bolt is hard to open like that because it is cocking the bolt for the next round your going to fire every time you open the bolt fully. I’m going to pick one of these up in stainless. thank you for reviewing this.

  39. Walker Customs on October 19, 2022 at 9:48 pm

I’ve gotten to own and fire some impressive bolt rifles in my life, and for off the "rack" rifles these Savage literally preform in the ranks of the customs I’ve owned. all guns are very unique all are different all have personality. these Savage rifles have it all and plenty of it. I can grab a $400 gun and drag it around all hunting season and have the confidence of having my custom 1933 FN Mauser with me. I personally love them and highly recommend them. I’ve got the original Axis in .243 and the Axis XP in .308 and wouldn’t mind it in a couple more calibers or more…. p.s my personal favorite hunting rifle is the Axis .243 Youth. very light, accurate, I can carry it endlessly and it’s amazingly accurate.
