Can this rifle be use for deer hunting? Please advise,
Thank you
Beast!!!!! I want one in the 338 lapua magnum!!!!! Ill probably paint it white.
The round that didn’t fire was probably not the ammo but the Accu trigger. If you jerk it or try to pull it with uneven pressure it will not fire. That’s the way it was designed.
I have this rifle in .308 Win. Out to 500 yards with it so far, and working my way out.
I really the 6.5 Creed but that Savage is just about the ugliest rifle Ive ever seen.
Can you review the 10 Ashbury Precision?
I got one shot under a dime at 100 yards. I would post a pic if I could. I love it
president excellent rifle powerful weapon great alot of fun shooting there great excited everyshoot perfict fantastic have nice day >>>^^^^^*****
Could you do a review on a ruger precision in 6.5
@hickock45 can you please do a review of the ruger precision rifle?
That butterfly almost took that 6.5s turbulence..
this rifle looks pretty cool either this or a tikka t3x or savage 110 tactical or begara b14. which should i buy
If you do buy one of these I highly reccomend the bolt lift kit. It reduces the friction required to cycle the bolt. Thanks for the video, not many have done much on these.
Love your videos hickock !
Does anyone know if this rifle is suitable for hunting
I just got the Savage msr10 6.5 Creedmoor Hunter. I can’t wait to get out to shoot it.
Can’t see this rifle on radar i reckon.
I feel like this is the first time I’ve noticed a cut in one of your videos. Always been amazed by your ability to get through a video in mostly one take.
I love the 6.5 caliber. Really solid and accurate with a flatter trajectory then other calibers. I have the Savage Axis in 6.5, for a $400 gun it’s a great rifle. Can easily reach out to beyond 1000 yards. My farthest shot were around 800 yards and the groupings were all within a few inches using the stock scope. Can anyone recommend a solid upgraded scope for this rifle that isn’t crazy expensive?
I’m turning towards bolt guns now that the ammo market is in such poor shape, my AR will be a safe queen for the foreseeable future. This has been on my radar for several years now and I’d say it’s finally time to track one down.
What are everyone’s thoughts on 7mm-08 compared to 6.5 Creedmoor?
Not all that stylish BUT A LOT OF RIFLE FOR THE MONEY
Everytime he says anything about "pot smoke" i just cooly look over at my bong 🤠
Thanks for making videos for us Hickok45!
Have this exact 10BA in 6.5 Creedmoor and can consistently hit an 10" plate at 1000yds using Sierra 120 gr. HPBT, 43.8 gr. IMR 4350, barrel velocity 2910fps +/- 4fps with a 23.8 MOA of drop all day long. Love this rifle.
good demo
that feel when hickok is shooting something far away that you want to see explode and jon doesnt zoom in
Come on Big John, get the O’l man some water on set 😁 from now on a cooler full with cold ones , let’s be responsible 😆👍
I appreciate your interpretation. It’s a very honest evaluation. You are directly being honest with yourself and that resonates.
I know it’s different than 6.5 but I like the 6mm rem.
I enjoy Hickok45.com and am temped to get a reloading rig, and a slug mold. I am not seeing the same issues with Youtube censorship as some are complaining about. Being a premium member, could make a difference.
That weapon looks very sexy
lol i love this channel….i need a drink
Been taking this rifle out to 500 yds consistently with little effort with Sig Sauer 140 gr match ammo. Now I’m looking for more distance.
I have a 10 Stealth in .338 Lapua. Absolutely love it. so much fun to shoot. Not serious into competition long range shooting so for the price for the Savage you cannot beat it.
Love the savage acutrigger let’s see a review of the 204 ruger
where it made from
Good rifle and not expensive. How much for that scope on the video?
New gun owner here. This is my first bolt action rifle (got it a few weeks ago) although mine is chambered in 308. Very nice rifle.
‘far out man’ and goes pot-smoking
LOL
I own the cheap $100 Savage 62 .22LR… decent gun for the money, sometimes shell get caught in the extractor release thing.
I live in Australia so we don’t really got the coolest guns here but I seen a gun that’s like this this morning and I’ve been looking at it all day haha
Nice to hear mention of Hornady! Proud employee here coming up on 3 months since I was first hired and let me tell you there’s certainly a-lot more to making bullets then I ever could have imagined👏
Can you see if a .308 p mag will feed in this gun
The autofocus on the camera is very quick and clear, it went from a 230 yard focus to 1 yard (I’m guessing) in an instant!
cant decide between this and the ruger precision or Bergara 14
I can’t believe how light it is, at around 9lb! My Tikka TAC1 in 6.5CM, with a scope, unloaded is 15lb! Probably partly due to the metal used in the folding stock, which i never use… Amazingly accurate rifle though! Only had 1 Savage,,,,,,Never have another… The trigger was the only good thing about it…
Hey Hickok, serious question, why are your shirts always wet? Cracks me up every damn time.
Saw him flinch on that misfire. I feel a lot better knowing it happens to the best of us.
i do alot of loooong range shooting with a .338 lapua mag… and yea i have some frustrating moments… but all you can do is practice lots
