My 93 is pre accutrigger and it needs a trigger job bad and hates the 10 round mags! Fun gun though. A bit of advice on sighting in your scopes. Shoot your first shot, lock your rifle in as good as you can and chase the hole until your crosshair is on the hole. Then instead of 10 shots you will be on target in 2-3 shots. No more cranking the wrong way either.

My ruger ARR in .22mag does a bit better than your final group at 100 yrds with that same amo.

  3. Ed Jett on March 10, 2023 at 2:47 am

I watched this video a year ago. I got another headache watching you fighting that scope, but enjoyed seeing the rifle again.

  4. MILEK H on March 10, 2023 at 2:48 am

Odd practice laying a free flowing barrel on the rest smh

  5. Anthony Fairbanks on March 10, 2023 at 2:50 am

Yeah you moved it up and right and it’s supposed to go down and left

  6. Greg Patterson on March 10, 2023 at 2:51 am

Good video. Glad to see that I’m not the only one who adjusts my scope the wrong way! Been considering one of these. Just watched a video where a guy dropped a hog with a .22WMR.

  9. Mark Theo on March 10, 2023 at 2:55 am

Once your close, you should shoot the best 5 rd group you can get, then adjust your scope to get group to cover bullseye.

  10. ty stick on March 10, 2023 at 2:56 am

I have this model and found that the hornady has been the best

  11. John Cox on March 10, 2023 at 2:58 am

Lay your stock on the sand bag not your barrel

  21. Cory Boudreaux on March 10, 2023 at 3:07 am

WHOTEEWHO great video always. Can you do a video on a Taurus 942 22mag revolver with 2 inch barrel thanks.

  22. Road Traveler on March 10, 2023 at 3:11 am

You almost sound like Hank Hill.

  23. Austin Frederick on March 10, 2023 at 3:11 am

1 click = 1/4moa at 100yards. If your @25yards that is the equivalent of 1 click =1” since your at 1/4 the distance of the moa of that scope. If you woulda went 2 clicks left and 4 clicks down you’d be splitting hairs at that distance. Also better to push back with a .22 mag for the main reason your bullet is still rising @25yards. Not dogging you at all brother, we all learn from our mistakes. Keep up the good work.

  24. Anthony Smith on March 10, 2023 at 3:12 am

I have the model 62 but now I gotta get one like wtw.

  26. Aden Rios on March 10, 2023 at 3:13 am

It’s not him it’s the gun it’s that accurate anyone that shoots it shoots perfect up to 100 yards the most accurate gun I ever bought. Great ground hog gun. And fox and coyotes

  27. barking.dog.productions1776 on March 10, 2023 at 3:14 am

I love my Savage 22 lr – as good or better than rifles costing twice as much

  28. Dennis Graham on March 10, 2023 at 3:15 am

I shot my 93 22 Mag for the first time 8 months ago. The second time at least 3 months ago. and then again today. I had very good results at 100 yards. 1/4 1/2 1inch groups with a couple of 2 or 5 inch flyer’s. So to say the least. Mine is very accurate after I had to readjust my scope a little

  29. jim pels on March 10, 2023 at 3:15 am

You need to rest the gun on the forearm, not on the barrel.

  30. Bill 667 on March 10, 2023 at 3:16 am

I think you have persuaded me to make this my next purchase….as long as my wife agrees!

  31. Briar Byrd on March 10, 2023 at 3:18 am

I use hornady v max 30 grain I can hit a golf ball at 80 yards

  32. 6.2L HemiPower on March 10, 2023 at 3:19 am

Got mine on clearance at Wally $69 love it

  33. Daryl Robinson on March 10, 2023 at 3:20 am

Nice RIFLE – Looks like this will be my next purchase – Thanks WTW

  34. The Hitman on March 10, 2023 at 3:21 am

Someone installed that scope and never sighted it in or even bore sighted it.

  35. Chris Hard on March 10, 2023 at 3:23 am

My Savage 93r17 is a 100 yd Tack drive 5 shot 1/4 groups

  36. Dan Holt BK on March 10, 2023 at 3:23 am

My guess is it was traded in and he got a good deal on it because the magazines are notably horrible at cycling rounds.

  37. milehimobster on March 10, 2023 at 3:24 am

No worries I adjust scopes the same way sometimes.

.22 mag vs a jug of jello

  39. Dennis Graham on March 10, 2023 at 3:26 am

3 months later, I finally purchased a new Model 93. Hope to get it out to the range next weekend. I had a Simmons 2-7x35mm scope mounted on it.

  40. savagemako17 on March 10, 2023 at 3:27 am

He probably had the gun sighted in for 0 at 100 yards. That would explain shooting high at 25 yards.

  41. wireup4321 on March 10, 2023 at 3:27 am

what’s the name of the scope and where did you get it

  42. Hashtag Just a dad on March 10, 2023 at 3:29 am

I was about to change the channel until that last grouping.

  43. ks lloyd on March 10, 2023 at 3:29 am

Shut this off as soon as you admitted you had to ask the wife. Knucklehead. Does she dress you too?

  44. unter mench on March 10, 2023 at 3:29 am

In Maine that’s a legal deer rifle.

  45. Greg B on March 10, 2023 at 3:30 am

I just purchased a Savage Model 93, but with a much nicer-looking wooden stock.

  46. Ken Lansing on March 10, 2023 at 3:31 am

I was on a couple gopher shoots with a couple brothers both of whom insisted the .22 Mag. is a better all around rig for gophers than a .22 LR, saying that if you saw a coyote while gopher shooting the .22 Mag. was adequate for short- medium range coyotes while the .22 LR was not. I disagreed, saying .22LR ammo is so much cheaper, you’re better off with two guns: a .22LR and a .223 Rem. for med.-long range coyotes and those long range gophers. Call me a weirdo.

  49. Darrin Portell on March 10, 2023 at 3:36 am

Good shooting I can tell your voice has changed a little bit when I go back to your older videos to your newer ones keep up the good work

  50. Charles Froeder on March 10, 2023 at 3:38 am

The barrel should not be on the rest while trying to zero in the scope
