SCOPED .44 Mag. Revolver – How powerful is it?

SCOPED .44 Mag. Revolver – How powerful is it?

This was filmed safely at a proper shooting range.
Danny demonstrates the awesome power of his Super Redhawk .44 Mag. He plans to use this as a back-up when hunting in brush. It seems like we get a lot of viewers who are gamers so they are used to the physics in those games. In reality, the variables we have to deal with in real life are complex and so the results are not as perfect. The Chronos high speed camera shows details that are not seen and exposes these variables.

the advertisements are LEWD.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  drsquatch and the sunglasses commercial and the self defense something or other.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  I swear half the country detests commercials and the other half thinks they are cute and try to memorize them<<<<< they are the brainwashed onesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  and I think those that try to ignore them have comprehension difficulties from purposely ignoring commercials, both have undesired effects.

Would it have killed you to actually NAME the scope used? Maybe a comment or two on the equipment? Your videos are as useful as watching little kids put firecrackers under an empty can.

30 years ago my dad let me borrow his Super Redhawk 44 with Nikon scope. I was under 10 and accidentally placed my left hand around the cylinder to better stabilize shots. Ouch! Blew a nice hole in my hand. Learned the hard way.

  8. James Primus on October 27, 2021 at 5:53 pm

What kind of scope it that

  9. Bunson Honeydew on October 27, 2021 at 5:55 pm

HAHA! Certainly straightened out those noodles!

You see a fair amount of these in Ohio. We can hunt with shotgun slugs, straight walled cartridges, or pistols. They didn’t allow straight walled cartridges in rifles until the past couple of years. So, the scoped pistol is going away here now too. I love your videos. Not trying to start an argument. I just thought it was interesting how different things are…stay safe, love the videos

Thanks for the shout out! And thanks for producing all this wonderful video, it’s great to see the original prototype still working so well. Keep up the great work!

  17. Andy Breglia on October 27, 2021 at 6:05 pm

Scoped .44 Magnum revolvers are also seen in hunting venues for big game for deer on up.

  18. Gregory Pearson on October 27, 2021 at 6:06 pm

I’d also like to see what the scoped 44 could do at a longer distance – 100 to 200 yds.

  19. dropdead234 on October 27, 2021 at 6:08 pm

Are you SURE Danny’s not related to Eastwood!? ‘Cause that’s some Dirty Harry-level shooting!

  20. joe4mnm on October 27, 2021 at 6:09 pm

I have the same exact scope and revolver except my super redhawk is in a 9.5" barrel…Ruger makes great guns!

  21. Pat Watson on October 27, 2021 at 6:10 pm

I know most people think the 44 is the best,
But I get better performance and on game performance from 45 lc especially hand loads,a 100 plus year old caliber in my opinion is way more versatile

Hi there, Iโ€™m Dennis and Iโ€™m a very proud owner of a new .44 mag Ruger Super Red Hawk Hunter edition 7 1/2โ€ barrel. I just bought it in January of this year from collecting Bass Pro Shop gift cards over the years from family and friends. As a big gift From my wife this Christmas, she gave me a plain gift card and said I can pay for the remaining balance with cash. My gun cost me a whopping $1,019! I have shot over a 150 rounds already and I love it. I really enjoy hearing the different reviews by other owners. Your review was great. Thank you

Don’t see it often in real life? Come to the Hancock County Gun Club (Carthage, IL) for one of our pistol Buffalo Shoots. Scopes are the norm on big guns.

  34. SCOTT Roder on October 27, 2021 at 6:20 pm

I am hoping Dirty Danny with his .44 mag is doing okay these days.

    When a man one-hands a 44Mag at 50 yards and nails the perp – that’s a fella you definitely
put on your "do not break in their house" list if you’re a bad guy.
A great neighbor to have, though.
