Highpoint said it will avoid the warranty if you use promag magazine but did see vidieo swap the ends on the magazine to the promag

  3. J.T. Cooper on August 20, 2022 at 8:11 pm

How about a test on the ProMag 15 rd magazine for the SCCY 9mm? I would like to see if those actually work.

  4. Russell Leavitt on August 20, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Like the review I was hoping for a review on the rifle, but your mag review showed me what I needed to know.

  5. Baja Dan on August 20, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Pro mag – you have one job …….

  6. Rick Perry on August 20, 2022 at 8:11 pm

    Good to know thanks

  7. Turaglas on August 20, 2022 at 8:12 pm

The aftermarket mags for Hi point carbines are terrible. Really sad given that the company never updated the ban era single stack mag and advocates a third party pile of garbage so you don’t void the warrantee.

  8. NMR on August 20, 2022 at 8:13 pm

Thank you for a magazine review. A gun isn’t any good if you don’t have reliable magazines for it, and this is the kind of information we need to know. Even though for the most part I forgot what I was supposed to be paying attention to, and I was concentrating more on the gun than on the magazines…

  9. JOEL MILLER on August 20, 2022 at 8:15 pm

    FUN!

  10. J. Beau on August 20, 2022 at 8:17 pm

I like this Carbine a bunch, I may get the .40 for ammo affordability reasons, 45 acp is still kinda up there. Can buy remanufactured .40 target rounds for $17 a 50 box right now.

  11. Forgotten Hillbilly on August 20, 2022 at 8:19 pm

I hate pro mag but if they couldn’t make a strait single stack mag such as this and have it work i’d say they need to close the doors so i guess these and ones like them are their bread and butter. lol I sure know their ak mags suck.

  12. Van Mann on August 20, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    “Anyways”??? Seriously?

  13. Gimme Da Bacon on August 20, 2022 at 8:21 pm

This should’ve just been designed to take Glock mags

  14. John Gilley on August 20, 2022 at 8:23 pm

Great review. Saw a review on that gun where it kept jamming out of the box on several brands of ammo. After many rounds it started to perform.

  15. David Austin on August 20, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Everyone needs a junk car to shoot up

  16. KÄHMAY ART on August 20, 2022 at 8:26 pm

Would anyone happen to know if the Pro-Mags are compatible with the HighTower Bull-Pup kit for the Hi-Point Carbine?

  17. Luis Ayala on August 20, 2022 at 8:29 pm

.45 high points are awesome rifles,I never have any issues with mine’s 🤙🏽

  18. The- potato-warrior on August 20, 2022 at 8:30 pm

They need to make a drum mag…. Let’s be honest

  19. Joseph Guccione on August 20, 2022 at 8:33 pm

I enjoy your VDOs and respect your boy and you. Just don’t mention you use extended mags if you need warranty work for they void it.

  20. C. Haas on August 20, 2022 at 8:34 pm

Love my High Point 9mm 995 Carbine great little rifle. I have 3 of the 20 round red ball magazine, that High Point recommends

  21. Charley Walker on August 20, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.

  22. randy bryant on August 20, 2022 at 8:36 pm

red ball makes 20 round mags for that gun and they work great

  23. NMR on August 20, 2022 at 8:37 pm

Maybe for a future carry combo segment, I would really like a tidy way to carry a multi-tool on my belt or waist pack strap. There’s probably a setup out there for that, any thoughts? I just have a lot more use for a multitool than either a folding or fixed blade knife as part of my EDC.

  24. Doberman freak 2A on August 20, 2022 at 8:37 pm

They void the warranty as well as damage your firearm fyi.

  25. NMR on August 20, 2022 at 8:38 pm

I know I would enjoy shooting a Hi Point carbine in 45 caliber. But I would probably chicken out and get the 9mm.

  26. Dan Burch on August 20, 2022 at 8:38 pm

I bought two of those same mags for my Para 14-45. But mine aren’t stamped with anything identifying the caliber, etc. That may be okay, maybe not. If they sent me generics, I’m going to be pissed. I can only get 14 rounds in by my elderly hands. I ordered a loader to see if I can get the other 6 into them. If I can’t, they will hear from me.

  27. Steve Macdaddy on August 20, 2022 at 8:39 pm

Ive got the same clip. But when I heard Biden was going to ban high capacity magazines I ordered a 40 round drum magazine for my high point 45. Came in the mail with weeks to spare. Let’s go BRANDON The worst President in history.

  28. Edysin Simon on August 20, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Thanks for the review. I’ve always wondered about these Hi-point carbines but just haven’t seen/watched any reviews! So again thanks for the look at! Proof of just how good ford chromed bumpers used to be!

  29. Phil D on August 20, 2022 at 8:40 pm

I’ve sworn off any ProMag purchase since about 8 years ago. You could convince me to buy ammo at Cheaper than Dirt before you could get me to buy a Promag. Maybe you got one of the good ones, maybe you didn’t. I’m not going to try the odds again. I’ve seen promags work one magazine full, and not the next, seen them turn reliable semi-autos to single shot. Rimfire, Centerfire had replacements sent that did the same thing.

  30. TheMcpvideo on August 20, 2022 at 8:43 pm

🤔 interesting I’ll have to look at getting one 👍

  31. Marc Olson on August 20, 2022 at 8:44 pm

Carbines in pistol caliber is the way to go. For recreation shooting, I am looking at high point.

  32. SoS on August 20, 2022 at 8:44 pm

    Promag’s are such garbage.

  33. haywoodyoudome on August 20, 2022 at 8:45 pm

5:27 that’s not a malfunction….it’s a feature. Hi-Points are great for when you want practice clearing jams and don’t need dependability.

  34. Bobby Pointer on August 20, 2022 at 8:45 pm

i have one of those hi points in 45. good vedio on those mags.ill have to get a couple. ammo is so expensive i cant shoot much . which stinks ,because its a fun sport.

  35. Dr. Jekyell on August 20, 2022 at 8:45 pm

The ATF will confiscate your trigger finger as a bump stop if they see this vid.

  36. Andrew Disney on August 20, 2022 at 8:46 pm

    Good to know! LGBFJB!

  37. Dan Seals on August 20, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Pro mag mags are junk!!! Grrrrr Dandahermit

  38. Neeley Dev on August 20, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Where did u order the mags from

  39. Doug V on August 20, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I bought 2 Pro Mags for my M&P .40 and I can’t get through a single mag without a failure to feed. The gun just doesn’t like em. With the real S&W mags I’ve never had a single malfunction. The Pro Mags are great if you need practice clearing double feeds and stovepipes lol.

  40. Miles Stover on August 20, 2022 at 8:52 pm

the 45 just seems really anemic to me , seemed to be just cratering and bouncing off that bumper

  41. Bird Man on August 20, 2022 at 8:53 pm

I really enjoyed the video, reminds me of the educational videos we watched in school back in the late eighties early nineties. Well done

  42. txgunguy on August 20, 2022 at 8:53 pm

I just wish SOMEBODY would make an aftermarket magazine for the Taurus PT145 Millinium Pro. It’s like as soon as Taurus stopped making the gun everbody else completely forgot about it. There are NO aftermarket parts of ANY KIND available for it. It’s very frustrating.

  43. Zephod Beeblebrox on August 20, 2022 at 8:57 pm

I have the 995 and there was a big label inside that said the warranty would be voided by using promag magazines and that I should use redball magazines instead.

  44. Danny Docekal on August 20, 2022 at 8:59 pm

I have this exact set up and I gotta say…I like it!

  45. Tactical Mountain Man on August 20, 2022 at 9:00 pm

Thanks for checking those out! I’m getting a couple for mine. 👍

  46. Diogenes' Student on August 20, 2022 at 9:01 pm

I can’t believe I have to get onto you again about shooting at vehicles! OJ Simpson could have been hurt!

  47. Agent Redbone on August 20, 2022 at 9:03 pm

Haha bump fire made the point angry

  48. James Hereford on August 20, 2022 at 9:05 pm

I have a Ruger 9 m m PC carbine rifle and it will take SR9 magazine also take security 9 magazines and bought a security 9 ProMag to try in it and it worked great, no problems whatsoever

  49. grease addiktz on August 20, 2022 at 9:05 pm

Like the scenery were you at Arizona desert

  50. J. Beau on August 20, 2022 at 9:08 pm

I bought two ProMag magazines for the Ruger PC9 Carbine in 9mm which are the Ruger 9mm clone mags. They run great, I use them very often with no issues.
