Ready to see sagedynamics drop it on some pavers.
do something different jeez
For the price sure, but for another $100 you can get the already battle tested Tijicon RMR and its been out for YEARS now. EO makes some damn good optics but when it comes to red dots for pistols/sidearms im rocking with Trijicon!
Compared to the Delta Point Pro how is the field of view? Also, That base seems very slim line. Im thinking holdovers on a Staccato might be reduced.
the battery life leaves alot to be desired. Theres too many other options with 50k plus hours. Don’t really see the point in getting this over the competitors.
They fixed my issue with the DPP by adding a down brightness button and have it at a good price. Nice.
Thanks for the videos, keep them coming. Looks like a solid red dot. We will find out for sure when Sage Dynamic does the drop test LOL. I would buy this instantly if it was a closed emitter. Holosun 509T has too much distortion and the Stiener and Aimpoint Acro is too big and expensive.
Does the dot sit up high like on the Deltapoint, or low like on an RMR? I understand the base is the Deltapoint mounting design, but curious about dot height.
Honestly, using the Deltapoint footprint was a weak move. They should’ve stuck with an RMR footprint. There’s way too many aftermarket compatible dots which fit this footprint as the industry standard. Deviating away from that is going to deter quite a few end users alone.
On top of that, besides the closed emitter, this optic suffers from every other open emitter outside of Trijicon. Their glass will still break from the geometry of having a square body. Finally, out of all the products they’re showcasing, why aren’t they showcasing their 1-10×28 Vudu?
Everyone in the comments are only talking about the price and not looking at literally everything else, it has less than half the battery life of the industry standard 50k hours even though it’s bulkier than other red dots, only ONE night vision setting so it’s going to be too bright or too dim depending on what tubes and generation you have, NO auto brightness, NO shake awake, and doesn’t use the most commonly used micro footprint that people have milled out.
People are getting excited just for a logo and not looking at it objectively.
The companies that make MRDSs need to thin them down so that standard height iron sights can cowitness. Some do this. They all should.
Offer a multi-reticle and I’ll be interested.
Holosun DESTROYED Eotech with their new line up…especially, the rechargeable NO BATTERY change needed pistol sights.
Good price point.
Holosun shills, fanbois, poors, and CCP lovers can respond here:
*1:30** Not bad? Are you LITERALLY smoking crack? This is a piece of aluminum $20. Electronics, $20. Glass, $50. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS PROFIT.*
Would like EO to do their holo reticle in a micro.
Something tells me this wont hold up to a real drop test. That price is good, though.
Five years late. Have they seen what holosun is doing? They need to wake up
biggest mistake ever not going with the RMR footprint
I need this
This is going on my new Sig M18.
Battery life is 36 min… on low.
Too wide for most slides, too thick for std height sights, no rear sight slot, too big brightness buttons and no dot & donut reticle…..Looks like a 2015 sight not a 2022 product
“We came out with a reflex site called the Holosun”
i def have to know more about this. like is it waterpoof. but i do like that they’re making a pistol sight. i run eotech on my long guns
It’s just like when all the companies made a micro pistol to hold 10-12 rounds, now everyone is making a red dot to go on the micro pistol. All of which will be out of style end of 2022, and everyone will move to bigger and better everything.
Why a open red dot? 😓
Nice EOtech!!. Coming out the gate late to the party and old tech thats phasing out. Its 2022 trends change, FULLY enclosed emitter, shake awake chip, water submersible (min 10 meters) and withstand (min) 10k round review by Sage dynamics. You finally got in the VIP room, but the club just announced last call. Anyone who seriously carrys every day, all day, will tell you. Open emitter design sucks on EDC ok for range gun. By 8hrs its full of lint and other debris. You have to constantly clean and god forbid one tiny piece of sand or metal gets in there, your lense gets scratched all up. Duster being the only way. You have to blow the inside of that tiny "cup" out. Lense cloths just roll it around scratching.
Nothing new, overpriced, less performance.
Not really sure why. Doesn’t really bring anything new, and there are other options with better features for cheaper
I FOUND IT! THE ONE NEW THING AT SHOT SHOW 2022!
I’ll wait for the click adjustments. That’s why I stopped buying Docter-Noblex sights.
👍🏽💯 Awesome content bro!👍🏽💯
“Everything we do is Holographic” they make 1 holographic product. 🤣
I have seen a lot of crap this year but I’m really exited for this!
i think itd be more worth the price if they had different MOA dot sizes and maybe if we wanna get creative if they wanna stick to their eotech style an aluminum shroud around the optic you know resembling a hologrpahic sight idk thats just me.
Michigan made.
Hey roger, I’ve been told you tried this reflex sight in your c2 and it doesn’t fit. Is this true? Can’t find the video they mentioned.
Good price does it have shake awake?
Let’s make a sight that is the exact same thing as a Trijicon RMR but….. MAKE IT EVEN MORE OVERPRICED! People will love it!!!!
"Our first reflex sight". The Eotech MRDS was such a flop that even they forgot about it lol.
Thank you! Let’s get rid of that trijicon crap
will this fit on my hk usp 45 full size?
You can see the lack of tint and distortion from here. Honestly, those are two of the most important things for me with a dot. Battery life and resilience are next. The auto off is nice for us that have our weapons in a vault for most of the year. For those complaining about battery life, that’s over two years of constant runtime. Just change your damn battery once a year and you will always be fine. I will definitely be getting at least one of these to replace my DPP as it’s too big.
Is it still made in the US?
Battery life is half what it should be.
1 drop from sage. game over.
Quite surprised at the MSRP. Very smart, will sell an absolute crap ton of these.
I have 3 different EOTech holo’s on my Komrad, Tavor 7, and Banshee 10mm (LOVE them), but went with a Trijicon SRO for my Walther PPQ .45. I LOVE the SRO, and wanted the larger field of view than the RMR, but realize it’s not as rugged as the
RMR. So, if the EOTech red dot is as robust/rugged as the RMR with a larger window, I might consider switching IF it would fit on my slide. If it won’t, no biggie, still love the SRO that’s on it, I’ll just have to make sure I don’t drop it. I was REALLY hoping that EOTech could have made a more compact version of their holo for pistol use. Guess the technology just isn’t quite there yet. Glad to see them enter the market as an alternative though, competition is ALWAYS a good thing.
