Sig Sauer Cross Bolt Action Rifle 6.5 Creedmoor Accuracy Test with Factory Ammunition

Hands on accuracy testing at the range with the Sig Sauer Cross Bolt Action Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. Comparing the performance of 3 factory cartridge offerings at 100 meters, Hornady 143gr ELD-X, Remington Core-lokt 140gr SP and Norman Scirocco II 130gr. The bolt rifle is stock standard apart from a Vortex Viper 3-15×44 First Focal Plane (FFP) scope, and a Magpul MLOK rail to attach a bi-pod.

I think your groups are smaller than you think you’re supposed to Deduct the bullet diameter measurement from the group

My Ruger Precision Rifle in 6,5 Creedmoor doesn’t like anything under 140 Gr.
    Factory or reloads.
That’s due to twist rate 1:8” and if I’m not mistaken Sig has the same twist rate.

Remington Corelokt were .5moa out of my Creedmore. Better than all others

Thanks! Just what I was looking for. Wanted to see if factory ammo would produce a descent group as I’m not handloading yet.

Lov it bro. Great shooting. The harmonics definitely seem to favor a heavier round. This is absolutely my next rifle.

That is a light weight sub moa rifle with factory ammo that is easily capable of hunting deer size game or fun extreme long range plinking.. I love 6.5CM because before they were a thing my favorite cartridge was the 6.5×55 that was my first rifle it was one my dad bought for 15 dollars right after ww2 . We both harvested a lot of white tail and mule deer over the years. I was so stoked when I saw the 6.5 CM come out. Basically a 6.5×55 Sweedish in short action form. I have two. I hand load and 140gr and imr4451 is very accurate and hybrid100v is just as accurate and 100 fps faster. Most people use H4350 but when I was developing my loads it was unobtainium. And I have an dpms ar10 with a 24 in heavy Hart barrel that shoots .5 moa with Hybrid 100v which according to load manual is higher velocity than h4350. I like to fill empty soda cans with water AT 300yd and mow them down with the AR. Most of my hill Billy friends shoot big cannons and have developed enough of a flinch the best of them are only about 33%. Hey its almost a full 1moa wide. What’s the problem guys!

I wonder what it would do with sig ammunition?

This is a beauty! I was about to get this but ended up building a different gun. Kinda second guessing it now

    Hello
    gentleman
I want to ask you a question.
I have a Sig Sauer Cross 6.5 Crededmoor, I would like to have 2 calibers in the same rifle, 6.5 and the 308, changing the barrel.
It is possible that the Sig Sauer Cross is MULTICALIBER

    THANK YOU

Question, did you let barrel cool in between shooting strings ? Also did you clean barrel in-between diff loads ? ie. run a dry brush or patch ?? genuinely curious..

Excellent video! I just got a 308 16 inch barrel version. We’ll see how it shoots shortly. 🎉

I give you credit points for your clever way to catch your brass! Nice.

I have consistently been shooting .75 moa with my .308 using factory ammo at 560 yards and more without much effort, it is a great rifle, and have done much better with the 6.5 Creedmoor, not to mention the the PRS with a 24" barrel. It is an awesome weapon!!!
