Sig Sauer P238 Magazines Review

Sig Sauer P238 Magazines Review

Sig Sauer P238 Magazines : This is a really cool product and I loved the concept. Came with everything needed and was fairly strong and secure. That said, I went back to using a holster because for me personally, I wasn’t as confident or comfortable with this type of carry 👉 it’s definitely not comfortable having the frame directly against your body all day. Also, when taking down one’s pants (like on the toilet!), the clip isn’t always strong enough to keep the gun from falling off your belt and unto the floor. But, this is a good product at a decent price and might be right for somebody else!

Update: After reading other reviews, I thought I’d say that my clip did not touch the slide at all, was easy enough to install (my P238 has a righty safety only), and, yes, it does sit a little more forward than I would have liked, but there’s nothing that can be done about that because the clip goes as far back as it can until it gets to the grip. Carrying in condition 1 (which I don’t do) with this clip would not be something I’d personally recommend.

Sig Sauer makes a seven round magazine with the pinky extension that fits much better than the one for the colt you have on this video.

Great product easy to install took less than a minute clip is sturdy and keeps locked on belt through basically any task if your not very flexible it’s a pain to wear at the 5 o’clock position and it adds a bit to the grips which isn’t to bad unless you have a sharp corner on the grips then it leads to snagging nothing a file couldn’t fix it’s a great product and will be buying one for my other guns

P232 is a much better choice. I dig my pistola. No safeties on my two Sigs. My other is a P220.

I’m going to stay with factory Sig 7 round extended magazines. Why mess around with Sig Sauer perfection? You can get them on EBAY for $34-37 each. They look like they belong in the gun, where as the Colt version looks awkward & a bit ugly in the P238. I highly recommend the Hogue Sportsman grip with finger notches & expanded palm swell. That grip & extended Sig mag with the pinky rest takes the P238 too a whole new level of sweetness.

I have 5 Springfield 911 7rd magazines and they all work perfectly on P-238. Much less expensive.

I’ve seen elsewhere that Springfield 911 magazines, both 6 and 7 round, fit the P238 (and the Kimber Micro) and cost just $24 from Springfield. They used to be less, too.
