Sig Sauer Tango6 LPVO – On the Clock

Sig Sauer Tango6 LPVO – On the Clock

We put the recently DOD approved Sig Sauer Tango6 1-6×24 SFP LPVO against the clock, mounted on a Robinson Arms XCR-M in 308.

Let’s see how this now militarily adopted and approved optic does in the field!

Lmao in 1x the reticle was almost impossibly small on video.

  2. Chris Schwieg on March 3, 2023 at 2:32 am

Im always impressed how quickly he’s on target and how smoothly he knocks targets down

  3. Ducaso on March 3, 2023 at 2:36 am

The tacticam footage is next level. I’m glad you can use one in your videos and look forward to seeing more of it in future reviews and events. Here’s to a speedy and full recovery for your big-toe, foot injuries are the worst!

  4. Tryit761 on March 3, 2023 at 2:36 am

The scope cam is pretty good, would love to see more of it.

  9. Javier Licourt on March 3, 2023 at 2:45 am

Awesome review. It is a solid tank. Beautiful engineering and simplicity.

  10. Pyreleaf on March 3, 2023 at 2:46 am

I could definitely see putting one of these on an AR-10 build…in the *VERY* distant future. Going to stick with an AR-15 & red dot for now because I’m not made of money.

  11. EchoLimaBravo321 on March 3, 2023 at 2:47 am

    Great vid!

  12. Jon Clivaz on March 3, 2023 at 2:47 am

I am very much Pro Scopecam. More of that please, it was excellent.

  13. David Ligo on March 3, 2023 at 2:47 am

How would you compare this optic to something like the Vortex Razor? I really like the 6T, but can’t find a lot of comparisons.

  14. Joe Snyderburn on March 3, 2023 at 2:51 am

That is essentially a scar. And I assume you did.. get payed to mention that

  15. SalaCommander26 on March 3, 2023 at 2:51 am

Ordered an XCR almost identical to this one a couple months ago. Of course they’re backed up now but I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Would love to see more content with it.

  16. Libertarian Neighbor on March 3, 2023 at 2:53 am

Hey guys, if your buy the 2nd focal plane scope your BDC will only be accurate at 6x. Training acquired 👍

  17. Leif Erikson on March 3, 2023 at 2:54 am

Malfunction after two rounds? No wonder SOCOM chose the SCAR over that.

  18. mje19D on March 3, 2023 at 2:55 am

I will never understand why people get a full kit on and play Gi Joe haha. It’s one thing to put some stuff on to "train how you fight" some ppl take it too far so they feel cool or hardcore I supppose. This is coming from an actual combat vet.

  19. Dimitros SJ on March 3, 2023 at 2:55 am

Sig optics is good in all aspects, except of optics(glass) itself. It is so dark if to compare it with similar price Vortex, NF, S&B or Trijicon.
    Would never choose Sig scope.
Even 500$ SWFA lvpo has brighter glass. So rip sig optics.

  20. Alex Ferrara on March 3, 2023 at 2:56 am

Great review brother! I agree with you on the XCR over the SCAR. I feel at this point, the XCR proves why it should’ve won in the SCAR trials. A reliable long stroke gas piston that’s an absolute tac driver. Aside from the R.A. XCR L/M, I feel the Bren 2S/2MS and B&T APC-223 (& .308) are also better options than the SCAR. In terms of "Not an AR (or even AK)", I feel those are the top 3 rifles money can buy.

Scope Cam is an excellent addition to these episodes on the range/during matches. Scope is a beaut!

  22. 1GruntZpov on March 3, 2023 at 2:58 am

I feel like the reticle could be brighter. Other than that it looks very good. Maybe that was more of a tacticam issue but from my perspective it looks like the reticle washed out a bit

  23. Mr. Grim on March 3, 2023 at 2:59 am

Holy shit that scope cam is cool.

  24. Franz Hayes on March 3, 2023 at 3:00 am

Karl, I know you have xp with both. How does this match up compared to the 1-6 Viper PST? I can’t find a decent comparison of the two!

  25. Daniel Glover on March 3, 2023 at 3:00 am

Canadians used to love the xcr. It was non restricted unlike any AR10 stuff… but our government banned them as well as AR15s. Cool scope cam !!!

  26. Whateverslav on March 3, 2023 at 3:02 am

The tacticam is awesome. Really puts the shooting experience into perspective.

  27. fudj12 on March 3, 2023 at 3:03 am

Follow up with the Second Focal plane lpvo please! Cheers!

  28. IEatLeptons on March 3, 2023 at 3:04 am

The tacticam shots are awesome! Though I would try overlaying it on the upper right of the video of you shooting. You can use a matte or a luminance key to overlay just the circle

  29. orion newman on March 3, 2023 at 3:05 am

This reticle is also good for 62 grain and up 5.56 nato out to 500-600 yds as well. Just talked to Matt at sig about that one. The ballistics are so similar to that range that any deviance between the two is negligible. Its the same model the army’s m4a1’s are getting equipped with and I think the hellfire system is incorporated into that model as well. From what I understand they beat out every other competitor as far as durability and weather resistance which is why they won the contract. On top of that it is ipx8 rated meaning it can be indefinitely submerged at 66 ft or 20 meters and the glass is better than some if not most of its proven colleagues in the field. I’ve never been a fan of sig outside of there pistols but I think this is the best lpvo in terms of features and durability matched with price you will find. GAME CHANGER, aaaand I just gave up 1200 bucks.

  30. Comrade Revo on March 3, 2023 at 3:06 am

Thanks for spoiling us with that tactic cam thing!

  31. Jonathon Allen on March 3, 2023 at 3:07 am

Didn’t see this video when it released, and am wondering why I’ve never seen the tacti-cam in any videos since? Would been awesome addition to the Ian vs Karl wwsd video.

  32. Ivan Corey on March 3, 2023 at 3:07 am

Sig should have made the illumination got to 11.

  33. TrickemDickem 911 on March 3, 2023 at 3:10 am

Perfect video. I love seeing my XCR and used, and love the view of the reticle in the camera. Great video.

  34. Dan Koch on March 3, 2023 at 3:11 am

might want to clarify that it is actually a Tango6t model scope that you’re using.

  35. Craig Hoivik on March 3, 2023 at 3:11 am

How many plates did you have in your carrier? Sounds heavy for no return fire

  36. Mike Carey on March 3, 2023 at 3:11 am

How far were you shooting? Looked around 200-300 yards

  37. Gene Shark Genetics_ BT on March 3, 2023 at 3:11 am

Looks like it’s washing out if ur not in the shade

  38. sp00n666 on March 3, 2023 at 3:12 am

Tacticam is an Excellent addition.. the second stage through the hole I couldn’t even see the third target! Just goes to show the no paint policy really does make a difference – keep it up Karl 🤘

  39. genconex on March 3, 2023 at 3:12 am

I find this intriguing based on a couple items.
    1) I retired from the military in June 2018. I’m born and raised in AZ and returned back here following my military retirement.
    2) I’m looking for a decent LPVO and stumbled upon this video.

It’s good to see a review with no extra fluff from someone in my home state.

  40. Duncan Taylor on March 3, 2023 at 3:13 am

Having the tacticam really adds something to this – particularly as a non-shooter. The tricker acquisition from the tank trap prop, for instance makes sense with how it balances on the prop.

    Really, really interesting.

  41. alex diaz on March 3, 2023 at 3:13 am

Damn dude youre a pretty good shot 💪

  42. Retired No Bad Days on March 3, 2023 at 3:13 am

When I use the Romeo4H with the Juliet4 magnifier, I use the ballistic dot reticle and can hit clay pigeons (that’s a 4.25 inch target) about 50% of the time at 325 yards.  My gun and ammo are capable of 1.5 inch MOA.  Do you think I should sell my Romeo and Juliet and go with a Tango6?  Are red dots and magnifiers

  43. snowmin kankles on March 3, 2023 at 3:16 am

I love the scope cam. The only thing I would like to see is maybe an annotation as to what magnification level you’re at (approximately)

  44. Semper Paratus on March 3, 2023 at 3:17 am

I’ll take the Vortex razor 1-6x gen ll E any day over Sig tango6. Thoughts?

  45. Gene Shark Genetics_ BT on March 3, 2023 at 3:18 am

I should have finished vid first 😂 u said exactly that

  46. Mjutami on March 3, 2023 at 3:18 am

That scope cam is amazing, nice footage!

  47. Darrius Landy on March 3, 2023 at 3:23 am

    Great shooting!

  48. gabrielchcosta on March 3, 2023 at 3:24 am

Will you guys ever use the scope cam again? this footage was great.

  49. Calza on March 3, 2023 at 3:24 am

    Agreed, tacticam ftw!

  50. FunkyBear on March 3, 2023 at 3:29 am
