Nice videos . I’m thinking this my first 38

  2. Aaron Hine on November 12, 2021 at 9:36 pm

I wish revolvers would come with a pic rail for lights. I love revolvers but i must have a light on any home defense pistol. I know there’s a select few that have a rail but i wish more had one, or some other way to mount a small light.

  3. X GHOUL X on November 12, 2021 at 9:36 pm

    Can it shoot plus ammo

  4. Will M. on November 12, 2021 at 9:36 pm

You should take a look at the Taurus 856 Defender 3”

  5. Dr. Steven Penny, M.D. on November 12, 2021 at 9:37 pm

I have some cylinder play in my new 856. Even when I have it fully cock to the back, there’s some wiggle room on my cylinder. Should I be worried?

  6. Petunia I10i15i40 on November 12, 2021 at 9:38 pm

My missus carries an older model 856 that is not +p rated…she is just fine with it…simple and reliable is a good combination…

  7. efm2169 on November 12, 2021 at 9:38 pm

I love my Taurus 856 ul and also my smith and Wesson 638 both good snubby’s. Now I just need to save up and get me a smith and Wesson 686+ 3 inch 7 shot 357 magnum and I’m set

  8. Kevin Casarez on November 12, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Makes me want to go get 1 😆

    Great video boss

Another quality review bro. I was in the market for a little pocket revolver that doesn’t break the bank and works well. It’s even small enough for my 13 yr old could handle very well. I saw one recently at my LGS the UL model for a great price I had to snatch it up. Looks like something I could conceal very well or just have in my glove compartment. Now if only the 38 special ammo could come back things would be perfect.

Did .38 JHP bullet expansion in snub nose revolver?

  12. BigBossMan on November 12, 2021 at 9:44 pm

I have the same exact gun, looks good, shoots good and priced good. It don’t get much gooder than that.

  13. wreckagevic on November 12, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Got the same one last weekend. I actually preferred the pinned sight being black instead of the all stainless sight on the other one .

  14. Zlittle16 on November 12, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Have one on order, same gun, here by the end of the week. Funny that there’s no caliber marking on it anywhere. Would have been nice to see what +p was like. I already know but there’s many who are thinking about getting one that don’t.

  15. Christian Hardwick on November 12, 2021 at 9:46 pm

Why don’t you like the ultra lite ?

  16. Jeffrey Bean on November 12, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I bought my dad that same gun for Father’s Day last year he loves the hell out of it the only difference is is the trigger and Hammer are gold. Another great video Tools..🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  17. Willie McLean on November 12, 2021 at 9:49 pm

    Nice

  18. Joe Helvey on November 12, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I love my m206 it’s really about the most gun I’ve ever gotten for my money. It’s a rock solid gun, that said the Taurus is still an upgrade. Great buy 👍

  19. Bruce Coleman on November 12, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Hey TOOLS! Good to see you, buddy!

  20. Jeff Colwell on November 12, 2021 at 9:51 pm

Have the Taurus 856 and the m206 which I like best both of them

  21. miguel ceballos on November 12, 2021 at 9:52 pm

  22. All Outdoors on November 12, 2021 at 9:53 pm

New to the channel and thankful you are burning some very valuable 38 Special ammo.

  23. Jesse B Outdoors on November 12, 2021 at 9:55 pm

Looks like a good carry or kit gun.

  24. rock Johnson on November 12, 2021 at 9:56 pm

Don’t buy a kel tec. Nothing but disappointment….

  25. Nicolae Sescu on November 12, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Got one about 3 months ago. Ran about a 150-200 rounds. Great little shooter, love it.

  26. Bret Hoyt on November 12, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Great video and review . Thanks

  27. RE:Desert_Boy on November 12, 2021 at 10:01 pm

Been wanting to pick up one of these as a less expensive though still reliable carry especially when you might have to lock it up in the car at times vs. leaving the S&W or Colt DS behind. However with 6 rounds this might become a favorite as well. Looks like it shoots fine and accurately….yeah it is hard not to want to shoot just one more cylinder with those snubbies. Thanks, sir!

  28. YO_HO_2EASY on November 12, 2021 at 10:02 pm

I own the 856 Ultralite she’s been good to me, no complaints at all 👌

  29. Michael Schaffer on November 12, 2021 at 10:02 pm

Taurus has a tritium front sight for that. Also they have wooden grips and a variety of holsters in their store.

  30. Alex tepe on November 12, 2021 at 10:03 pm

How’s the recoil on that? In my experience, snub nosed revolvers have been a handful to shoot.

  31. Cloyce Spears on November 12, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Bought the 605 and had to send it back after 11 rounds, it was shaving lead because they forgot to throat the barrel. Don’t get me wrong I love Taurus firearms, I own several.

  32. TheHikuky on November 12, 2021 at 10:05 pm

    Right on 👍😄

  33. Kyle Wood on November 12, 2021 at 10:08 pm

    Great looking revolver! How’d .38 +P’s do?

  34. Rich Weatherly on November 12, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Enjoyed your review. I’m carrying my Taurus 856. Have had it since it first hit the market.

  35. strong island on November 12, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Im new to this but how do go from single to double action? Im thinking about buying one.

  36. Droladnap on November 12, 2021 at 10:11 pm

If they make their revolvers like they used too that thing will last forever my dad bought a Taurus revolver in the 80’s and we still shoot it we may have put a couple hundred thousand rounds through it.

  37. Matthew Ray on November 12, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Got one for the wifey with just 130g FMJ so far, ISO .38 in JHP or similar.

  38. Dave Greene on November 12, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Taurus makes as good a gun out there and everytime taurus comes out with a new gun it’s not long after smith and wesson comes out with one almost just like the taurus 🐂

  39. George Veneziano on November 12, 2021 at 10:15 pm

Was a good video really liked it I bought the 856 about 2 months ago so far so good. Ty again

  40. Bill Alexander on November 12, 2021 at 10:24 pm

  42. jpiraino on November 12, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I’ve had mine for almost a year now. Love it. Once the trigger gets broken in, it is smooooth!

  43. sware84 on November 12, 2021 at 10:27 pm

I’ve had mine over a year and I love this 856 38 a great shooter

  44. robert farris on November 12, 2021 at 10:28 pm

that wooden grip on that rock island 206 does feel better than the hard plastic grip that is on the rock island model 200

  45. Slick Dazzler on November 12, 2021 at 10:28 pm

Great looking little 38. Taurus has always made a pretty decent revolver.

  46. Fishers of Men on November 12, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Can these shoot +P loads? I know the larger 3inch version of the 856 says they can but what about these?

  47. A willoughby on November 12, 2021 at 10:32 pm

my ria m206 came with 2 grips and i got rid of those skinny wooden grips as soon as i got it.

  48. Chris Snider on November 12, 2021 at 10:32 pm

    Just might get one

  49. Omar Santos on November 12, 2021 at 10:33 pm
