Extra magazines always out of stock for a long long time. I won’t buy any gun unless extra mags are available.

  2. J P on November 24, 2022 at 9:50 pm

seems like a good SA/DA gun except I’ve bought a handful of Sig P226 or P229 Police trade in guns for around $100 more. If you don’t mind 40cal, I’d much rather have a P226 than a TH9.

  3. Stuart Owens on November 24, 2022 at 9:50 pm

Thanks for taking the time for the review. I just bought a TH9c. I doubt I will sling anywhere near 5,000 rounds through it as quickly as you did. Since it is my carry, it’s good to know that mine should do just fine.

  4. ozzyb39 on November 24, 2022 at 9:51 pm

I just got one I’m glad to see it’s a decent quality incant wait to break it in..

Let’s be honest here, the G3 is an absolute dumpster fire aesthetically. If they would have designed it to look more like the GX4 or TX22, I’m sure the G3 would be far more appealing.

  6. Savage Sapper on November 24, 2022 at 9:53 pm

Are there other brand magazines that are compatible with the TH9?

For example, the Sig P226 mags and the Canik TP9 mags fit the Taurus G2C and G3.

You mentioned doing a review of this gun a year prior to this video, but I can’t find it. Did you take it down, or is youtube’s search just fucking with me?

PS – I enjoy your direct and bullshit-free content, to the point that I’m heavily cribbing your delivery style for my videos. I hope you don’t mind.

    Nice review, very straight forward

Holy S#!T!!!! didnt know Hop had his own channel, instaSubbed!!!!

  11. Romeo's Generic Channel on November 24, 2022 at 10:01 pm

I been eying this gun for a while lol , gotta pick one up!

  12. Justin Kase on November 24, 2022 at 10:01 pm

Wanted a cocked and locked carry gun, not many options but still not choosing this one. I’ll probably go for a Grand Power of some sort. If anyone knows of other NOT HEAVY cocked-and-locked guns I can carry, open to recomendations.

    Some time missing during firing

  14. iamtpac on November 24, 2022 at 10:01 pm

    Nice pistol. Nice Flecktarn.

  15. robert frederick on November 24, 2022 at 10:01 pm

That a boy burn that barrel out.

  16. NamekianMMA on November 24, 2022 at 10:03 pm

If Taurus wanted to get in the game, they would let Hop basically make a Wiley Clapp variant of his own

  17. Tom on November 24, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Thanks for the update. The TH9 is my carry gun now and with about 650 rds through it, zero malfunctions. I concur with your assessments on every point…..and I am one of those who likes a DA/SA hammer fired pistol. I’m very happy with the TH9 and thinking of getting another. Mags are a little pricey but the function 100%.

  18. The Honest Truth on November 24, 2022 at 10:05 pm

I’m one of the guys that insist on the da/sa action

  19. Lestat Zapata on November 24, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Funny, I want the th9 for the specific reason its a Da/sa hammer fired pistol with a decocker in a good price range, lol.

  20. MrCaribe65 on November 24, 2022 at 10:07 pm

Thanks for this video. I see this at home so the old battle axe has something while I’m out.

  21. GreatBigRanz on November 24, 2022 at 10:07 pm

Remington is turning into a dumpster fire, while Taurus is upping it’s game.

  22. Dean Firnatine on November 24, 2022 at 10:09 pm

I actually like this gun except for a bit heavy, thinking of getting TH9C as a back up carry gun to my normal Walther pps m2 carry gun.

  23. Nasir Mahmood on November 24, 2022 at 10:09 pm

    Nice

  24. Jet Jaguar on November 24, 2022 at 10:10 pm

    Thanks for the update.

  25. Ted Forrester on November 24, 2022 at 10:12 pm

Does it rattle when carried? I’m convinced it’s a good gun and it’s #2 on my list for my next buy. My only concern now is if it rattles.

  26. Ronnie Bowers on November 24, 2022 at 10:13 pm

I hope is not as dumb as paul

  27. gtracer66 on November 24, 2022 at 10:14 pm

It’s a good thing you didn’t grow up in the ’50s & ’60s. You wouldn’t have a lot of choices for striker fired pistols. But millions of shooters got along just fine, including law enforcement & military.

  28. phantomspaceman on November 24, 2022 at 10:16 pm

5000 rounds, nice. That’s 4700 rounds more than most Taurus pistols ever fire.

  29. War child on November 24, 2022 at 10:19 pm

I’m a hammer nerd so I like it

  30. Chris Hirner on November 24, 2022 at 10:19 pm

It might be an age thing. i like da sa hammer fired. im about 50 and heck i started out on nothing but revolvers. I like the striker fired guns but the lack of an external safety makes me nervous even if its unfounded.

  31. UTuber on November 24, 2022 at 10:19 pm

I would go with the Taurus TH 9 instead of the TH 40 for more ease of hitting targets and less recoil plus round capacity.

  32. Stryxx on November 24, 2022 at 10:24 pm

    Thanks for the no-nonsense review/update. 👍

  33. Mk Shffr on November 24, 2022 at 10:28 pm

Really liking the looks of the compact version of this. I would only buy striker fired if I couldn’t afford anything else.

Nice to see some affordable semi-traditional bottom feeders are still available.

Hard to decide which to get first, this or an 856.

  34. robert frederick on November 24, 2022 at 10:28 pm

I have the TH40 and I shot 10 rds out of it and it function flawless that was my test but why 5000 rds just to see if it will fail, its not made to fail,Taurus knows what they are doing.senseless wasting of ammo.

  35. John Taylor on November 24, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Interesting, The G3C is great. I don’t know itshay about triggers.

  36. car5car on November 24, 2022 at 10:30 pm

I like the video, but you have to place your trigger finger right(at least for video)

  37. tlt40s&w 70 on November 24, 2022 at 10:30 pm

So much for you know. The G3 and the th9c had the same trigger. Same components same everything. Stop bullshiting us dude doing honest review. you have 5,000 rounds to that gun you’re doing good. I own the p11 G2 G3 g23c the th9 the th9c Smith & Wesson m&p sig h&k I have them all. Taurus to me is a very good budget pistol. I carry my G2 a correction I carry my G3 all the time.

  38. Leo Fender on November 24, 2022 at 10:36 pm

    Looks like a USP

  39. MrHetero Erectus on November 24, 2022 at 10:37 pm

Good to see it went 5,000 with no failures. Just started the round count on mine. The only thing I noticed about the gun that concerned me was the Hammer. It just feels light and fragile…I am assuming it’s polymer. But, if it were to be a problem from any angle (firing pin or just breaking) it would have showed up by 5K I would imagine. Have a PT-111 Gen 2 with close to 4K no problem. Taurus will probably wind up being appreciated by more people just as the Canik pistols have. I had a Canik TP-9 that I lost round count on, but was probably over 5K…and never had one issue.

  40. ermxskrm97 on November 24, 2022 at 10:37 pm

I want this in green and maybe the th9c if I love it like striker fired glocks ever sense I saw how much a 226 legion cost😭

  41. TheDkb427 on November 24, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Did they make the barrel matte to not be bright cause it should be shinny to me.

  42. RSFAY on November 24, 2022 at 10:43 pm

Love the way you make your videos, down to the essentials, always running and speaking on the background. Nice! Subscribed

  43. MRS. ROSE MITCHELL on November 24, 2022 at 10:43 pm

how to fix the mag from moving around when its in gun loaded still feeds fine just nosey

  44. Paul Barnes on November 24, 2022 at 10:44 pm

Is the TH-9 an evolution of a previous design?

  45. Shawn Cypret on November 24, 2022 at 10:45 pm

Can you do a comparison between the Taurus TH9, and G3. I’m getting ready for my next.

  46. Someone on November 24, 2022 at 10:47 pm

    Well I just bought one.

  47. chaff5 on November 24, 2022 at 10:48 pm

My only interest in this gun is that it’s ambi and the price point. Nothing else in this price range is ambi.

  48. Cuzzin Coo on November 24, 2022 at 10:48 pm

    Sipping on what? Los-a-huh???

  49. Kenneth Gammon on November 24, 2022 at 10:49 pm

I wish i could say the same about my TH9. Jam-o-matic..

  50. BillHimmel on November 24, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Would you carry it cocked and locked?
