Taurus Tracker .44 Magnum Revolver

Taurus Tracker .44 Magnum Revolver

In this video we take a look at the Taurus Tracker .44 magnum revolver. This 5 shot beast with a 4 inch barrel is a great choice as a woods gun, since it packs the power to be useful as a potent bear defense weapon, or as a handy feral hog gun. With shotshells it’s effective against snakes as well!

how much did u pay for it?

  3. Mark Terrell on January 23, 2023 at 1:34 am

Bought one to go with its little brother my Taurus Tracker 692 .357 Magnum/9mm. Love them both but the .357 might be the best revolver I’ve ever owned!

  4. scotty davis on January 23, 2023 at 1:35 am

I love mine but I do wish it was a full 4” barrel instead of a 3” barrel with 1” of porting. The area that is ported the bullet is free of the rifling

  5. Tahoe Tom on January 23, 2023 at 1:35 am

I’ve lived around black bears for 10 years now. I would never shoot a bear unless bit but I know a 44 mag will put it down fast. Might not put down a moose but a head shot will take it down.

    I want 1

Ribs pinch???? Man hands roll eyes hahaha ,love the vid but ball busting is a must some times 😉

  8. Eric B. on January 23, 2023 at 1:37 am

I have that same revolver for hiking grizzly country. Got it from my friend virtually new with a pistol rug case for $400. My 1st revolver.
BTW, mine has that exact same HOGUE grips for the EXACT reason you did – tired of getting my 2nd knuckle rapped with the recoil!
So we own the exact same pistol. Absolutely a Very good pistol for the price. Really, ported barrel, stainless steel, TOTALLY reliable which is a necessity when you face a charging grizzly with bear spray in one hand and a .44 mag in the other. :o)

It’s interesting, after renting and trying a revolver with a hoage(sp?) grip at the range I found I didn’t like it. It forced my fingers into positions that didn’t work for my hand. Does the ribber grip look cool?Nah I don’t think so haha, but it works well for me. I haven’t experienced the pinching sensation. To each their own 🙂

  14. MrPHATSPEED on January 23, 2023 at 1:40 am

Just bought one! Great budget revolver. Never had an issue with any my taurus weapons. 🤘

  15. Glenn Abby Construction on January 23, 2023 at 1:40 am

Even empty when he was pulling the trigger it sound like a 17HMR….44 mag is no joke!,,

  16. Red Phoenix on January 23, 2023 at 1:41 am

@1:30 In case of bears, bear spray works better. It doesn’t make for a good story like, "Real man killed a bear with a real revolver right before he pooped his pants." 😊

  17. Snake Bite on January 23, 2023 at 1:42 am

3:37 chillin 3:38 whole can disappears and turns into air particles, this gun will definitely hurt a little bit for a bear 😳

  20. Harry Mayhugh on January 23, 2023 at 1:44 am

Maybe I missed it but I didn’t hear the weight of the gun and the price

  21. Glenn Goren on January 23, 2023 at 1:46 am

    Looks so sweet

  22. Matthew Keyes on January 23, 2023 at 1:48 am

692-3" has my interest. Has the quality of Taurus revolvers??

  23. Dave Greene on January 23, 2023 at 1:51 am

You just can’t beat a Taurus I carry the Taurus g2c , 9m and had the Taurus 357mag I’ve never had a problem with any Taurus

  24. Jake W. on January 23, 2023 at 1:54 am

What’s the best kind of ammo?

  25. VBM-Chad on January 23, 2023 at 1:56 am

Finally a very good review worth watching. Most reviews is of weekend worrior guys holding and caressing the hell out of a gun and not actually review it by not shooting it. You sold me on the Tracker I’m ordering one for the upcoming bear season. We run bears with dogs so this pistol will be perfect. Thanks

  26. My Email on January 23, 2023 at 1:58 am

Man you handle that gun like a Boss!

  27. Jesse James on January 23, 2023 at 1:59 am

nice "TOOL" I rly want one!… sadly so this reminds me of what we can’t have here in coomieFornia! thanks to the communist party that governs the state, here on the left coast we are far more limited an so if u want a 44 cal. you must get a Ruger Redhawk. which is a fine weapon of course.

  28. Luis Arroyo on January 23, 2023 at 2:02 am

I just picked one up for $335 during the pandemic 😎

  29. BIG DOG on January 23, 2023 at 2:03 am

    LOVED THIS

  30. Carlos Morris on January 23, 2023 at 2:05 am

How is the recoil – in comparison to a .357 Magnum?… Can only a big man like this handle it well, lol? And I expect the ammo is expensive…

  31. The JUICE on January 23, 2023 at 2:08 am

Just bought one i LOVE it!!!💪💪

  32. MegaZeroSeven on January 23, 2023 at 2:09 am

Please do not call a firearm a “weapon” it is a firearm, and always a firearm until commissioned to be a weapon. Period.
A shovel is a shovel until you strike someone with it, at that point it became a weapon.

  33. Jon Kaylor on January 23, 2023 at 2:10 am

Nice and to the point! I want!

  34. Pat Watson on January 23, 2023 at 2:10 am

Out of my entire gun collection, the ones I’ve purchased that weren’t left to me by family that has passed away, almost all my handguns are Taurus revolvers, the tracker series,I have 2 of these 44 mags and they really get abused one stays in my truck the other stays on my airboat, and I’ve never had any issues with them, besides the one you mentioned the Taurus ribber grips as they call them

  35. VeteranDad Tactical on January 23, 2023 at 2:11 am

    Good review man!

  36. Mickey Mantel#7 on January 23, 2023 at 2:12 am

I like that gun,.44 mag 5 shot, ported.
    🖖

  37. Fel Ta on January 23, 2023 at 2:13 am

When Camping and around the woods I usually carry my 44mag revolver and a 45acp usually a 1911.
in my backpack on the side water proof pocket I carry an AR(upper and lower separated). After I encountered a Bear and it charged me, there is no such a thing as TOO MUCH.

  38. Jim on January 23, 2023 at 2:14 am

i saw you on clovertac couple days ago, can to check you out, i was looking at a taurus 44mag revolver so this one caught my attention……great channel mike, great logo, nice uniform thumbnails, your editing is on point, smooth and seamless with no real pauses in the acton, most importantly i noticed you seemed to be having fun, isnt that the real point……i will have to check out more content……cheers bro

  39. Roger on January 23, 2023 at 2:14 am

Got the blued model very good gun. Really easy to carry all day even for ole man out of shape in elk country. I like to reload with 210 gr8 Nosler for recoil and faster second shot

  40. Fear No Evil on January 23, 2023 at 2:17 am

    👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  41. CJ Rogers on January 23, 2023 at 2:21 am

Dude I promise no animal of this world is going to laugh at a 44 magnum. That will put a hole through an engine block I don’t think a bear is gonna shake it off 😂

  42. M C on January 23, 2023 at 2:23 am

I bought one and it puts more pain in my hand like no other firearm I have ever shot

  47. will on January 23, 2023 at 2:27 am

They put better grips on them now

  48. Big Kenny on January 23, 2023 at 2:30 am

Great review. Looks like yours is shooting high and left. Have you tried the adjustable rear sight to see if it makes a difference. I don’t usually mess with pistol sights and just use the Kentucky windage method.

  49. Scott Loftin on January 23, 2023 at 2:30 am

The Taurus grips only pinch your hands if you have pussy skin. Otherwise, man up and shoot.

Are those factory sites? Man I really want one now lol
