Do they make these for the carbines too or just the pistols?

Price is right!…Guess it’s like putting a cheap wig on a bald woman!….;) Have a high point carbine…just may yet get a pistol?

I stippled my original Hi Point grips with a hot knife and it improved the grip significantly.  Still, I decided to get a set of these for my 9 and 40 as soon as I saw them on the Hi-Point website.

If Hi-Point is all you can afford, might as well dress them up.  Only way I would use a Hi-Point is if it was there was available.  I have custom made wood grips from MarschalGrips.com on one of my two pistols.  Great looking and feeling grips.

They are hydro dipped and so are much more durable than textured. I’ve done that and it worked fine and looked good. Saw these..ordered the dark wood for the C9…liked it so much I ordered the imitation carbon for the 45. My wife has the boodad stick on grips from ebay in dark gray on her 380 and they too work really well and look good. Hopefully the grips for my 45 will arrive this Monday.
I like the beefy look of these and their feel in my hands when firing. I can afford most guns out there…Bought the 380 first as a skeptic…my wife liked it…went and picked up the C9…4000 plus rds later bought my 45. Wouldn’t trade them. Just my experience with them. Not dishing any others choice.

I like em. I want to get some for mine but cant decide witch ones. Why not? Live a little.

Up Date..put a set of dark wood grips on the C9 and they are much better both in looks and feel. I recvd a set of carbon fiber for the 45 and though they look good the grip was not as good as the imitation wood so….had some dark grey textured paint and sprayed a single coat on the carbon fiber grips. It takes multiple coats of this paint to completely cover so one coat just took the shine away and added a much better feel to the grips. Also by removing the shine they look more like genuine carbon fiber in my opinion.

I stippled my stock C9 grips with a woodburning tool. Worked great, but not as good looking as these new offerings. I’ll have to get the desert or snakeskin.

Good title for this video.I’ve always wondered why Hi Point hadn’t done this long ago.I can see some other people making a lot of different after market parts for Hi Point,,especially grips. The possibilities are endless & wouldn’t cost much.I’d love to find something in a Virginia Tech set of grips.

I just wished the Hi Point Pistols were a little heavier. Especially on the top.

  17. Jesse Sisolack on May 13, 2022 at 7:05 pm

That is interesting. I sometimes would paint the grips with a textured spray paint. Worked well. I guess Hi-Point decided it was also a good idea.

Bought the carbon fiber and the Urban Cammo. I change them out as the mood fits. Takes 1 minute. Added 10 round mags and cleaned up the action and mag lips and haven’t had a FTF in over 700 rounds, many brands. Nice, ugly little gun. At home I keep it stocked with the factory 8 round mag full of Critical Defense. It’s not my daily carry but I enjoy shooting the little sucker. Semper fi.

  21. Christopher Davis on May 13, 2022 at 7:13 pm

I bought the hand grips before I heard of this

  22. Doran Jaffas on May 13, 2022 at 7:13 pm

That was supposed to say more durable than textured paint I put on the original grips. The textured paint does look good and makes a big difference but these grips are better in my opinion.

I bought a set of traction grips for the c9 the fit perfect and feel great.
