The California-Compliant AR Pistol – Yep it exists

The California-Compliant AR Pistol – Yep it exists

Officer Gregg discusses how new laws affect owners of certain piece of hardware. The laws only affect people who want to follow them — bad guys don’t play by the same rules as everyone else. So the laws only inconvenience the good guys and don’t make anything safer. It’s common sense.

But before the ink even dries on the enacted laws, clever inventors come up with legal work-arounds.

We shouldn’t be working around gun laws we should be dismantling these oppressive laws.

  16. David Paulk on October 23, 2022 at 9:11 pm

If you go to Nevada can you easily remove the shiny rear takedown pin and just shoot it and before returning home easily revert to it’s original configuration?

  17. Tien Nguyen on October 23, 2022 at 9:11 pm

So can I still build this as of today in CA? I know this video is 2 years ago.

Love it .. Our State .. Own what we want … we make them leave .. Pistols are great .. own what u want ignore Kalifornicstan and it’s illegal Supermajority gov laws that are not legal ..

  19. 1nfamy on October 23, 2022 at 9:12 pm

Surprised the legislation didnt resurrect en bloc clips. Stripper clips are a bit quirky, have to be single stack, have to be finely guided & manipulated at least by comparison to shoving an entire en bloc double stack into the receiver.

Ive advocated for en blocs before, bc they also save weight & manufacturing, & if the gun is only meant for 10 or 15 rounds, its entirely feasible with dot sights that have limitless eye relief or pistol scopes

or even *another resurrection* TANG SIGHTS. I love tang sights too. Im ranting at this point but imagine if we standardized on tang sights instead of barrel mounted sights. Picture the original AKM, with a sight like the FNSCAR at the rear trunion that folds towards the stock. Literally perfect theres even a drop in the comb as if it was intended.

  20. Allen howard on October 23, 2022 at 9:13 pm

The barrel is not 16 in

  24. Coley Davis III on October 23, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Dude it is absolutely bull shit that any state has gun laws making it harder for good Americans to use there rights. I should not only be able to make any firearm I want with out having to ask permission from big daddy government.

If gun laws don’t work, why is the United States the only G7 country with mass shootings everyday?

  32. Brayden Hardcastle on October 23, 2022 at 9:26 pm

Will the magazine still eject without pushing the button to break it? Can I just have the button for legal demonstrations when need be, or does the button mechanically need to be pushed in order to get the magazine to eject

  33. Burnwell _ Bandit on October 23, 2022 at 9:27 pm

How is he getting by without the funny looking pistol grip? I’m from AL and not up on CA gun laws.

I left for Arizona from California and I still work in California as an officer and I have a 2 hour commute one way but I have cool stuff in AZ that California is not a fan of. I like to tell people that I am a refugee from the communist state of California. Get a laugh or two.

Ignore All Governemt law till we fix the Federal Gov and the cheaters ruining America

  38. DoperNautz Official on October 23, 2022 at 9:30 pm

there are people living all over the world that work in cali still, and trust me sometimes location just isn’t it. but yeah i agree with the attitude that you are not going to let something run you away from your own home, you’ll stay and fight.

  39. Fred Marzillier on October 23, 2022 at 9:31 pm

Thanks for the video! Can you explain how this is a "pistol" vs "rifle"? I understand the pistol grip and the whole firearm being less than 30", but is that it? These laws can be so stupid that sometimes it’s hard to believe. Is it a rifle with a pistol grip because it’s over 30" in length but an AR pistol if it has a pistol grip and less than 30"? Both legal because of the non-telescoping stock and "breakaway" mag release? I appreciate any info, thank you

  40. MrBisco2 on October 23, 2022 at 9:32 pm

Hello sir, are we still able to make a pistol like this in 2022?

  41. DoperNautz Official on October 23, 2022 at 9:34 pm

i 3d printed my "ar-style" pistol and called it a B2A. That alone excerpts it from some of the regulations, but 3d printing guns in California now is a whole other beast.

  42. K C on October 23, 2022 at 9:35 pm

2A restrictions in the U.S. are as complex and illogical as the tax code! Think about that.

  43. keyoflife24 on October 23, 2022 at 9:35 pm

Tip: If two rounds get stuck…..push the button on the bottom of the mag plate to release the spring…..Make sure you guide the plate out, as the spring will shoot out under pressure spilling your rounds out….( safety tip….do this side ways or down….never straight up, with the mag facing you). In an emergency don’t worry about guiding the spring out….Hit the button let them fall, drop the mag, reload and continue.

  44. AnkleBiter on October 23, 2022 at 9:36 pm

I have this setup for my normal ar 15 . But I am using the ar maglock with the kingpin . In which it allows you to clear a jam or double feed or failure to inject a round , just as normal without opening the top and lower receiver . I also learned how to reload just as fast as a normal release button , simply by just pressing both buttons at the same time .

  45. Hector Corona on October 23, 2022 at 9:37 pm

How many inches is that barrel on the pistol

  46. Evil Weenie on October 23, 2022 at 9:37 pm

It’s not a firearm it’s a bullsh@t ballistic defense extreme inertia matter pusher. Very useful for ending bullsh@t quickly and efficiently. I have my paper work.
I want this set up. Fukking beautiful.

  47. Silvertarian on October 23, 2022 at 9:38 pm

Would be nice to have a police force that would just ignore stupid laws.

  48. Jordan sanders on October 23, 2022 at 9:41 pm
