Why are you fawning over this gun when it is almost a complete clone of the Benelli 828U?
The frame a 694 should be used the fore end beefer and the stock more adjustable do it all
These will have Holland and Holland stamped on them before you know it….
Even with the 21g carts the recoil looked horrendous.
Very Very light why 8.5 to 9 ideal
Let’s see we take a beretta shotgun and replace the steel with plastic to make it lighter. Boy that is a revolutionary idea. This genius idea makes the front end very heavy and destroys the balance and shoot ability of the gun. The wood resembles cheap turkish wood. Its an old American trick. You cheap out on materials and charge more for the same product. Im not this bull or the gun.
A good candidate for an adjustable stock? Add a bit of weight to the back while remaining entirely functional.
I use my 828u for walked up days and I shoot 34g 4s no issue. Sometimes I even bring out the 50g BBs and its still perfectly fine to shoot.
Cheap looking really but I’m sure it’s not. Berettas are over priced!
Beretta could add true side plates would be so much nicer not just the half plates but innovative go the full step on every innovation
I have better looking gun than that and of cource comes from turkey doesn’t look plastic
The worst Beretta ever
For some reason all i could think while watching this was how cool it would have been if they made it like a baby bretton
what is the length of the barrels on the specific weapon? because I intend to buy it at 71 or 76 cm!
How much is this weapon?
Did my ex rub her face on that shirt?
TGS side plates.?
Removable sideplates, Zoli did that on the EVO model some 4-5 years ago. Difference is they used steel and did it to be able to add weight to the mid section. But for a field model I would prefer balance over a few ounces.
Its a cheap looking gun looks like made out of plastic
is it me or, does that T Shirt look like its been used to clean a dirty car?
“…you had to buy an ultralight before from Beretta now you can buy a….” …Ultralight but in Italian 🤌
For those of us that like nice metal engraved side plates, Beretta should offer them in metal for those that like the look more than the light weight. Copy the 687 EELL plates. Or someone come up with an aftermarket plate. It does not look like it would be too hard to machine a metal plate. Silver/Gold side plate on a black receiver. .
What I find most interesting about this shotgun is the removable sideplates. To be honest I find the 690 series just a bit dull looking. Picture a 694 with this system and Beretta selling EELL sideplates on their web site and you now have the ability to dress up the 694. As for the light weight, I just purchased a 687 SP3 combo gun in 410/28 gauge. It weighs in at 6 lbs. 12 ounces, fits me perfectly, and is a real joy to shoot. In 410 it’s my new Skeet practice gun. It’s cheap to reload, requires a higher level of precision, and the recoil is negligible. BTW, mine is a Joel Etchen Special that features a EELL wood upgrade so it’s also very pretty.
YOU TALKED A LOT.YOU TALKED ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT WHAT I WAS HOPING YOU WOULD TALK ABOUT THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME IS THE LOCKING MECHANISM.HOW DOES THE GUN LOCK UP.DOES IT USE THE 2 PINS,ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE CHAMBERS OR A SOLID BAR UNDER THE BOTTOM CHAMBER ?.
It’s a good looking gun. I wonder if the polymer side plates will become a thing on other models soon?
I expect to see that style of side plates on many future guns. You can change materials to change the balance and feel of the gun, or just for esthetics.
How did the aluminium trigger group look? Was hoping to see that
I don’t shoot much 20, and wouldn’t want anything near this light in 12, but at least it’s interesting.
Stick with my 686 20 ga
A silver pigeon is better value. Who puts plastic on a 2k shot gun?
I don’t like it. Even as a field gun that needs to be light, I don’t like it. It’s bad enough that the stock looks like it came from lumber at a construction sight, the plastic makes it look remarkably cheep. Maybe if the plastic parts were aluminum the gun would look much better and be just as light. I’ll pass on this one. Even if I got one for free, I’d hide it in the closet and hope no one ever sees it.
I believe “Ultraleggero” is Italian for Plastic Pigeon?
No disrespect to the narrator but any experienced sportsman can tell the gun is kicking you rather severely, especially when taking the overhead straightaway shots it’s apparent that the gun is jolting you. Beretta, and no manufacturer for that matter can defy physics. Sure if you’re shooting between 5 and 10 shots hunting not a big deal. Shoot a 100 rounds shooting skeet and you will develop a severe flinch (in time). With that said I appreciate your honesty in the end of your video. Hunting yes, clay shooting absolutely NOT!
When they want to go light.. Why not use carbonfibre and titanium?..
Lol, I just bought my first Miroku. Seems to be getting on well with the Berettas in the safe.
I don’t think it’ll be a long production run.
I love my 690 blk for clay, for hunting and dog training, I’m a Franchi SL man ! You should try it in 26 inches ??!??
Nice gun, but those side plates are definitely not 3D printed. You can clearly see the ejector pin markings from injection molding.
I’m stoked, those barrels look exactly like my $600 Silver Eagle light super barrels👀
Is it not very similar to the blaser f16 game?
If I wanted to play with plastic I will play with my kids Lego’s.
I will keep my 725 thanks.
What price tag this gun come out?
It’s a new old gun! They’ve found a way to cheapen the 686 even more! But not lower the price!
Cheap gun…P.Beretta was fantastic gun maker…now, they follow only the easy money 😭😭😭
Is the ultra xs better than this one ? With 26inch barrels for woodcock rough shooting….best regards from france ! Phil.
This is interesting, hopefully in future they will do full side plates, and make blank metal ones available.
Can you review the Benelli BE Diamond please..:)
I hunt coyotes with an AR15.
Just get a side by side of you want a lightweight gun.
