The Prince George gun show May 2014 and our loot

The Prince George gun show May 2014 and our loot

We got an awesome firearm haul that I’m enjoying a lot, despite it ripping a huge hole in our budget. That is going to take a while to recover from financially…

The gun show was hosted at the Coliseum in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.

So here is what we bought:
– Henry .22LR lever action rifle
– Remington 870 with custom stock, tactical rail, Tasco red dot sight and green laser
– Lee Enfield No 4 Mk2

Very nice firearms guys! I really like that scoped Henry. What model Henry & scope is it?

PS…How much does that 870 weigh? That rail setup looks pretty hefty.

Are you guys kidding me, in New Zealand just about every gun you can see is more expensive, they are cheap as hell.

  7. Patriks_surplus_kitchen on September 27, 2022 at 8:36 pm

Hm, in fact that this Vid is about 2 years old but yeah 130 bucks for a Enfield is good…. BUT…. In fact it was Sporterized…. Many missing parts…. Barrel maybe not as good as hoped?! Not matching numbers..?! If you use it as Hunting rifle ok… but from the collectors point of view….. invest a good 300 Bucks to get it in Original Shape ^^ you would love it more  ^^ g pat

  12. james ranger on September 27, 2022 at 8:41 pm

I just sold my 870 tactical. The short barrel just was not practical for me. The 18 inch barrel is just not what I needed. One of those things that made sense at the time and ended up having a poor real world application.

  13. TheRyderShotgun on September 27, 2022 at 8:44 pm

hello from the other side of the planet, in a land where guns are illegal, days are boring and deaths by guns minimal…i wonder sometimes if its worth it.

I’ve thought some about attending a Canadian Gunshow just to see what’s there. Really, looks like a gunshow in Maine or NYS…

Prices are lower from what I see, but probably due to lower demand.

  22. Tapio perälä on September 27, 2022 at 8:56 pm

    Man!
Those guns are cheap as bread! -.-
In Finland those would cost +1k €uros (which, also, has a greater value than ie. USD)
Not that Finnish laws would *ever* allow random purchace of firearms!

  23. Amanda Myers on September 27, 2022 at 8:57 pm

Looks like you guys have some really good prices in Canada…

  24. Justin Miller on September 27, 2022 at 8:57 pm

I Canada Sks Rifles cost about $100 in America a Sks cost about $300-$500. It used to be that you could go to your local hardware store and pick a Sks up for $100 without a background check.

  25. Chroma on September 27, 2022 at 8:59 pm

    Love that ending. xD

  26. VolunteerEMS on September 27, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Did the seller just look at your PAL card to see if it was expired or did he actually check you up on a database?

  28. Tula1940 LB on September 27, 2022 at 9:01 pm

    That’s a nice M97 Trench gun at 3:27.

I play Battlefield 1 and wonder if that’s the real name.

  37. B&O5300 on September 27, 2022 at 9:10 pm

I like the R870 in this video, I’ve shot several before at a skeet range in Ringwood NJ and purchasing one up north like in Canada is pretty cheap

  38. martK banjoboy on September 27, 2022 at 9:11 pm

well put that lever action and #4 to work to recoup your losses! Bag an elk and some small varmints to eat! 🙂 Very nice gun choices! 🙂

  39. sergeantbigmac on September 27, 2022 at 9:12 pm

They dont let us take cameras into gun shows in the US.
I guess its to protect privacy. While id like to to snap a couple pics to document or remember what is there to look it up later, I like the fact not everyone is walking around with a camera recording stuff.

  40. TOOLeye3 on September 27, 2022 at 9:14 pm

I’m June 16 as well love the videos keep up the good work

  42. EatDatShopLifter445 on September 27, 2022 at 9:16 pm

were you really using a camera as tacticool binoculars

  43. Videogametourist on September 27, 2022 at 9:18 pm

TBH your prices look the same as they would be in the US but that’s coming from a poor shooter who earns minimum wage.

  44. Josh O on September 27, 2022 at 9:19 pm

Aww man I bought one of those supposed Winchester 1897’s years ago before I knew stuff at a show and it was actually a Chinese thing that never fed right and the hammer didn’t hit hard enough to set off primers and to this day is in pieces in a tote in the basement.

  45. Thomas Blim on September 27, 2022 at 9:21 pm

Why would someone sporterize a Lee-Enfield?!

  46. james white on September 27, 2022 at 9:22 pm

Every gun show I can recall going to explicitly banned cameras. But glad you filmed this. Brought back pleasant memories!

  47. Derf565 on September 27, 2022 at 9:23 pm

do gun shows in Canada always happen in an ice rink?

  48. frost1977 on September 27, 2022 at 9:25 pm

hennery’s logo I guess means more in the US, they make 100% of the gun part barrels everything is made in the US, no imports, and is made to a high quality spec.

  49. texasdee slinglead on September 27, 2022 at 9:25 pm
