If this had a hex shape barrel it would look older

  2. Marty Watson on March 16, 2023 at 2:14 am

I don’t know, it doesn’t look any smaller than my Wildcat 22 made by Mountain arms company back in the 70’s. And at least mine has a pump ejection action. Great trapping and survival gun.

I have the original double wire stocked version. I added, from Chiappa, the barrel shroud, hammer extender and the pistol grip. Pistol grip prevents it from fully folding but in my mind no problem. Added a small 3-9x compact scope, a small light to lower rail, a muzzle brake/glass breaker lol, a small MaxPedition pouch (holds 2 boxes of ammo plus some singles, lens cloth, allen wrench for removing scope to access factory sites and a spare AA for the light) and a fixed blade knife in a kydex sheath. Pouch and knife both fasten between the butt stock wires. I can still get to the loose rounds, kinda lol, on the stock ammo holder. Fixed up a paracord sling and attached it so I can put on my shoulder. Hangs barrel down at my hip as I used the top and bottom stock wire for sling attachment points. Also wrapped some extra paracord around the stock wires. I tried about 8 or 10 kinds of ammo and found the American Eagle 36gr H.P. grouped best at 50 yards. It hated Federal Match Ammo. lol I can carry it in my hand, over my shoulder or fasten it to my pack. Love the little thing. Kind of a busy arrangement for such a small rifle but easy to grab and go and has the goodies for obtaining and processing meat in a chi-com zombie world. Great for rabbits and grouse if legal in your state. I sound like a teenager writing this. This is really a nice little setup for a gotta go now situation or even just a toss it in the back seat if I go stomping in the woods.

Is the older model and this new model the same length as far as the stock go’s ???

  5. Eddie Boggs on March 16, 2023 at 2:16 am

My uncle had a 22cal. rifle made for children. It was a single shot and had fake lever to look like a multi fire. This would be in the early 1900’s.

Do we really have to throw empty cases on the ground,a 22 case is a small amount of rubbish , but it all ads up , leave your land the way god left it !

  25. Davide Davide on March 16, 2023 at 2:43 am

    Range?

  26. Conrad Rawhouser on March 16, 2023 at 2:44 am

They should make one in 5.7×28

  27. Nikola Brankovic on March 16, 2023 at 2:44 am

10/10. Love its simple. In a modern day where everything is complex, this is simple and awesome!

  28. John Doe on March 16, 2023 at 2:45 am

They need to make one that is in a larger caliber that still hooks up to the same “receiver” like a .45colt/.410 barrel that way you can carry both the .22lr barrel in there as well as the other. Or even a .357mag/.38 spl

  29. SkyWriter25 on March 16, 2023 at 2:46 am

There is something so zen about shooting one of these.

  30. Lemuel De Guzman on March 16, 2023 at 2:46 am

Nice it’s good for hunt but can afford

  31. Matt Geiger on March 16, 2023 at 2:46 am

For this type of gun you would have to go with Magnum, 22mag is not bad out of a rifle

  32. Tyler Westman on March 16, 2023 at 2:46 am

Have you seen the double badger made by the same company in different cals

  33. Andreina Rangel on March 16, 2023 at 2:48 am

Nice little package. Better than nothing, but clearly on in the same league as a 10/22.

  34. Tommy Luksha on March 16, 2023 at 2:48 am

It is also the worst firearm a person can ever try to rely on.

  35. Alte Post 3805 on March 16, 2023 at 2:50 am

I think everybody agrees that putting the empty shells on the ground is a bad idea – so please put them in your pocket and dispose them at home!

  36. Si st on March 16, 2023 at 2:53 am

why would anyone need one of these

  37. Ruffman SavageVeteran on March 16, 2023 at 2:54 am

What about actually hunting? Such as rabbits, squirrel, grouse, and etc.? I used a an Remington 870 for ducks, grouse, rabbits in Alaska when I stationed as a soldier (#4 black cloud/ federal steel shot for ducks/ migratory birds, #7 lead (various manufacturers) for grouse and rabbits.) Squirrels in Alaska weren’t really good hunting being too small and my intentions were to eat anything I killed.

  38. TOX on March 16, 2023 at 2:57 am

You should get a pistol grip for it for more comfort

  39. The Everly Boys on March 16, 2023 at 2:57 am

    Where can I get a carry case/tube?

  45. East Coast Ian on March 16, 2023 at 3:01 am

It’s a interesting little gun. I wonder if it would be better to carry a long barrel revolver instead of this. Something like a High Standard double 9 with a 9 1/2 barrel.🤔

  46. ronnie32567 on March 16, 2023 at 3:05 am

I can’t find it on the Chiapas website who sells it?

  47. BlindfoldedMissile on March 16, 2023 at 3:05 am

No point in buying a single shot .22, if you’re really going to fire this puny round, buy a Taurus TX-22 or a s&w sw22, that way you can atleast do follow up shots.

  48. Marco Polo on March 16, 2023 at 3:09 am
