The TOP 3 NEW Products I saw at SHOT Show 2023 (actually the only 3)
I was working at the Cabot Guns and ACW Booth all of SHOT show but was able to tear myself away to see 3 new products that I was really curious to check out.
1. Oracle Arms 2311
2. Beretta 80x Cheetah
(There is conflicting info on the decocker vs cocked and locked safety… I’m just going on the info the rep gave me)
3. Holosun DMS Thermal/IR holographic sight
Here are my thoughts after handling them for 4 minutes a piece on my lunch break.
Completely agree, the Beretta should have been 9mm. Great video, I appreciate your input and opinion.

Now if they could find a way to put the 9mm in the 80x cheetah gun it would fly off the shelves
Thought I was the only one that wished the 80x was 9mm!
Compact Elite from Oracle Arms 2311 was my favorite. Can’t wait for these to be released in April
Dame video quality 🎯💯✅
Great video.
Can we get a Top 5 American designed, sourced, and built guns of shot show 2023?
The 13rd mag on the 80X is flush fit, not extended. The 10rd mags are for ban states. The reason why it is in .380 is because it is a blowback pistol that was designed to run either .380 or .32ACP. It is an existing design that they updated, just like they did with the M9A3 and the 92X series. If you want something like that in 9mm, look at the 92X Compact. 15rds of 9mm, optics ready with a 4.25" barrel and a short grip.
1. the oracle is not a 1911 nor a 2011. most people who covered it never considered it a 1911 nor a 2011 and alluded to that in their videos.
2. the 80x is already sold out everywhere (yes, including the standard version) so your brain fart about it not being able to "compete" is wildly inaccurate
3. holoshit, nuff said
3 grand for a competition gun? And a new gun that looks like it was built in a high school metal shop class? What faith would you have the production guns?
Several people have said the Oracle feels cheap for the price point it’s at. Let’s see how much it’s improved upon release
Why complain about China when China invented gunpowder? Holosun is pushing innovation. If the QC is good, why does it matter?
If you want a 9 get a 92x. The 80x is not for you tactical guys. Its for your wife’s, for new shooters who are recoil timid but still need a gun. Beretta is marking this toward the m&p ez crowd of woman and new shooters. Not everyone wants a small pocket rocket thats hard to shoot for new ppl. And if more good guns are coming out in 380 that ppl will actually shoot will eventually drive price down for 380 too
Beretta rep said they had manufacturing difficulties in 9mm in such a small format with 92x performance.
The Hz/lag on the thermal is terrible. Much worse than the entry level Pulsar.
What was the detection range of those thermal sights?
*Hah, this guy tells the truth. This SHOT sucked.*
The DWX uses P10F mags, not CZ75 mags.
I will be buying a cheetah.
I like the Rock Island Arms 5.0 new model hammer fired pistol. 7 years and more in development and finally here. Made in America and coming in close to $1000.
