Thompson Center Compass II Suppressed – First Shot & Sighting in of the 6.5 Creedmoor T/C Compass II
I was recently looking to pick up a bolt action that was threaded so I landed on the 6.5 Thompson Center Compass II. The can that I’m using is an AAC 762-SDN-6.
It came with a threaded barrel and a very reasonable price tag so I figured, what the heck let’s give it a try.
If you are interested in range bags and high-quality American made gear. Head over to our website at https://lynxdefense.com
Take a fiberglass rod ,pull out the forsook to fit the rod,,,that will stiffen the front end with a little bedding compound,,make sure it won’t touch the barrel. Then about a 64 forth or less in under the action mabey,a,128th.,make sure its all the way back in the stock don’t wiggle or move it once it’s in ,,give it 48 hrs,to cure front in back .Now you have a better stock. Got plenty more ways to wring out more accuacy.
What can is that?
I have one as well. What’s the thread pitch on the barrel? I’m wanting to get a SilencerCo ASR Brake for my Hybrid 46.
Do have the silencer screwed straight to the barrel or do you have some sort of muzzle break attached?
Corn makes a great shootin’ rest!
Nice Job & any rest you have will work! Bolt Gun Bag..Yes! 🤘🏼 Carry on
