I’d have added the new tisas 1911 pistols they have a forged frame and slide and for a price around 500.00 that’s hard to beat. I’ve also got a fusion 1911 on order that from my research seems to be a well made gun.

nice video . i have the Remington R1 Enhanced 45acp .really nice , dehorned with rosewood grips $1100 bucks and i have the colt combat elite 45acp also with rosewood grips $975 bucks , purchased both new . I love both of these pistols , and have had them for 6 years now , shoot great with zero issues and have no intensions of ever selling either one of them. damn i love 1911’s .
I have a 1911 in 45 cal. From Bull Armory. It’s made in Israel . I love it. I’ve shot regular shells and hollow point shells and it has never misfired on me one time. I paid jest under 700 dollars for it.

I have a SA loaded. I put a one piece guide rod and better barrel bushing in it. I got rid of the ambi safety for a regular one. A set of VZ grips and removed the damn bump on the grip safety. I carry it on most days.
Why would you say the weight of the remington fully loaded.. then turn around and say the weight of the compact kimber unloaded?
